With the positive response, Pyrrha took charge and led the way out of their little clearing. She knew they would be followed so a part of her subconsciously stuck to the more open areas, just to make it easier for them to be watched so it wouldn't be a stressful situation for anyone involved.
"Oh, without a doubt." Pyrrha looked over shoulder at the fading tree line and caught just the bare glimpse of a grey shape moving from one grouping of bushes to the next. If she ignored the cautious overtones it was almost comical.
"So, how is Elzira? Is she still healthy?"

The mention of Elzira made Pruu's breath catch. Precious Elzira... "Yes, she is healthy. There was a time of concern, but it appears she was going through.. I suppose you would call it puberty for trees? That has since passed though." She didn't want to bring it up, but... "It seems she has decided to accept hybrids into our fold. One has already been born that I know of." She peeked over for Pyrrha's reaction. "It is living with it's mothers on the other land."
Speaking of trees... "And Elzira's seedling? I believe she was named Esena, yes? How does she fare?"

For a moment Pyrrha feared she'd overstepped a boundary by talking about their mother goddess. Was it alright for a deserter to bring it up so casually? Or was the peace their kind was supposedly reveling in enough of a sign that things were alright again?
"Puberty?" Pyrrha's voice raised in pitch, as did her eyebrows. "I didn't know that was possible. And hybrids?! That's....oh my." For a moment Pyrrha was just...stunned. Hybrids? From Elzira? In her youth anyone who tried would have been slain on the spot so for a child to not only be bloomed but to thrive.... "That's wonderful, Pruu! I don't...exactly envy the child, but if Elzira deemed their family worthy of a child then who are we to judge?" The thought of a hybrid still gave Pyrrha...twinges of disgust? Was that it? She didn't hate the earthlings, no no, but the thought of mixing their bloodlines was still something that would take some getting used to.
"Esena is thriving. I wish I could take you to her, but you'll have to settle for my glowing words of praise. At first I wasn't sure how well she would handle this new soil or if it was right to take form Elzira, but now....now I know it was good."
Especially because of the girls...
"I may not be able to show you Esena, but I do have some souls I would like you to meet. Maybe not today, but soon."

If it were another matter, Pruu might have laughed at her twin's reaction to Elzira's growth. As it was... Her jaw was tight, but she still nodded with reluctant agreement. "It seems that Aisha had gone through a similar change in her own youth." Well, perhaps wonderful was a slightly strong word to use, but... "There is much changing of late," she replied in an even tone. Prayers for understanding continued daily for her...
"I am not that surprised to hear she is well. It.. seems to run in her family, seeds being taken to strange lands." While not a glowing history, it was still their history, and even she could feel the pride of knowing the lifeline of the goddesses was so strong.
"Souls?" She cocked her head the slightest bit with curiosity. .....Pyrrha wasn't talking about any of these local fish things, was she? Or perhaps there was someone more closely related to the topic of Esena..? "If you wish." Pruu allowed a smile to lift again. "For now, I am content just to have you here."

Perhaps Pyrrha's acceptance of it was a little too open for her twin to handle. They may have been close, but there was still so much that varied between them and Pruu's reaction only gave Pyrrha more cause to squeeze her hand. In time things would even out; they always did. Maybe her sister would come to find solace in the hybrids and even if she didn't so long as she didn't repeat the mistakes of their mothers life would find a way.
"As I said, you can meet them later. I think we're due a little alone time after being apart for so long." Perhaps it was selfish of her, but Pyrrha wanted her twin all to herself for at least a day. She would have loved for longer, but she would settle for what she could get.
