"Nah, I was probably going to be late anyway!" He laughed, not seeming to be bothered by the fact. He was not the most punctual, easily distracted by very simple things, just because he was so very curious. It was just a part of his nature, and not something he had ever learned to 'fix'. He was not broken in any way, after all, and so far it had not hurt anyone.
At least, beyond himself. Painite could get real rough in her sparing sessions if he broke her rules.
"Alright, we'll meet up again in a few days, yeah? I shouldn't have to go training again with her for a bit, so like three or four nights? Here? Okay! I'll see you then!" He was already sprinting off as he was yelling his goodbyes. If he could just teleport like his General could, the timing thing would be a non-issue. It was just not in his realm of skill yet, however, so he had to settle for running and jumping like a maniac.
He was going to be exhausted by the time he got there!
