"I can't believe you just Kung-Fu Panda'd me," Kerberos said, but he was laughing the entire time. He stepped out of the hug, stretching a little. "So, tell me: what do you know about this whole magic dealio so far? Have you been to your planet yet?"

"You better believe it," Ryan teased, "And, uh. I haven't, yet. I do know that Monoceros is a constellation, though, and I'm not sure? How that works?" He suddenly became quite shy, hugging himself and looking away, into the distance. ".... I'm just not sure if I'm ready to have the weight of all that dropped on me yet," he whispered, "I mean, a whole planet? With its own history and people and language and so much else? What do I look like, Princess Mia?"

Kerberos frowned sympathetically, and reached out to put a hand on Monoceros's shoulder.
"The weight isn't as heavy as it sounds. Like, as someone who is literally so interconnected to my planet that Chaos can't touch me anymore?" He gestured at the glowing marks on his arm with his free hand. "Your constellation won't ask more of you than you can handle. It....wants you to develop, I think. And grow into your power as fully as possible."

Ryan blinked as he finally noticed the marks, gasping softly. "You're transcendent... Wow," he whispered, barely restraining himself from touching the marks. That would be insanely rude. He swallowed as Kerberos told him his constellation would wait for him. "That's... really nice. Still, it just... almost feels irresponsible not to be ready, I guess." He sputtered his lips as he sighed. "But... I really do want to see it." Lips lifting in a half-smile, he continued, "I mean, a whole alien planet? That's awesome."

Kerberos nodded, grinning. "I am. It was...a long road to get me here," he said, and he ran a hand through his hair, a little sheepishly, "but it all worked out in the end. And I've been able to do a lot to help people--but, I mean? You're already off to a good start. You've got a great heart, Ryan, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it carry you far."
He squeezed Ryan's shoulder, briefly, before letting it go. "Anyway, it took me a while to be ready, too. But if you want, we could ease you into it? I go to my planet all the time, and I could take you, if you'd like. That way, you can see space without all the pressure of it being your world."

Ryan smiled nervously at the compliments, fidgeting with his hands a little bit. He never really knew how to react to such things. It'd really only been recently that he heard much good out of people's mouths about himself, and it was startling. Ryan's eyes were nearly as wide as saucers when Kerberos offered that. "Really?" he exclaimed, clapping his hands together and just barely restraining a squeal of excitement, "Oh, wow, yes, that would be so cool! Thank you!"

Kerberos grinned, broadly. "Perfect. Then, do you want to go now?" He asked, offering a hand and pulling out his phone. "If you'd rather wait, that's fine, but carpe diem and whatever, right?"
It would be nice, to take someone to his planet. It had been so long since he had...so few people had walked with him, up there. He needed to change that.

Ryan gave half a nod, glancing at his watch, and then gasped. "Ah! s**t, sorry, I can't do it today," he apologized, taking a step back. "I have some civ stuff I'm gonna be late for if I don't get home, like, ASAP. Uh, text me later?" He pulled out his own phone to get Kerberos's number.

Kerberos nodded understandingly, and held up his Senshi Phone. "You got one of these from the cat that Awakened you, right? If you power back up, we can register each other."
It would be easy, and then they could get back in contact as Kerberos and Monoceros--because maybe Kerberos was a bit paranoid, but he wasn't exactly eager to have magic-related communications on his regular phone.

Ryan glanced around and powered back up, pulling his Senshi Phone out this time with a sheepish smile. "My bad," he said, striking a cute pose with a peace sign by his face, a wink, and his tongue sticking out slightly.

Kerberos laughed, pulling out his own phone and snapping a quick shot of Monoceros. He didn't strike a pose for himself, but, well, he was pretty sure he'd look good enough anyway.
"Another time then," he said, giving a brief wave. "Have a good night!"
