Keeping her shield up and her stance firm, she'd attempt to push him away. You remember how Violet hated Faunus? Was this situation going to help in that regard? Honestly. No. The only thing saving Arachne to be honest was the fact with her vision basically being reduced to darkness, Violet would have no idea who was the cause of this situation. With the activating of Arachne's semblance the explosion would go off and being in the area put Violet within the blast radius. To be it simply, Violet go boom. There was other things in the way though. The throwing knives. With the arc of the knives, they would be heading towards her abdomen but thanks to the explosion going off and sending Violet flying, the knives would still hit but instead ended up going more towards her leg. The first 3 throwing knives would hit their marks around her upper thigh, cutting deep thanks to the explosion messing with her aura. The butcher knife luckily ended up hitting against one of her spools, deflecting away do to the collision. The explosion sent Violet flying, but thanks to the heavy dust, she wouldn't fly as far as one would expect. At least vertically. Instead, she would be knocked around 10 ft into the air before coming crashing down into the ground in a roll that would place her around about 30-40ft from her previous position. The darkness being traded with the sudden vision of the park again as she assessed her wounds. She was pissed and not in a good situation though. Looking around, she tried to find a place to hide while working on picking herself up from the ground. “The ******** was that....”

If she did none of that though he would merely attack her shield with it; the wind dust would add significant pushing force to the blow to hopefully break her guard or perhaps disarm her. Her shield was proving to be more and more a nuisance as time went on, but he figured if he could remove one of her main weapons with this attack it should make thing easier. He was prepared to use his vambrace dagger as well, if opportunity arose, but for now it was a backup."

Large dust: 2 Blue. tabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtab The woman would say she was glad she could amuse, which set off small warnings in his mind at how easily she was taking things now that she had her web out and spreading. 'This won't make this easy for you,' he thought to himself silently as he had gone into his attack now. She went for the expected parry with her sai, allowing Ghost and his wind dust to knock it clean away. Though unlike when he spoke and typically had a smile, his expressions were more serious now. The woman had been proving more of an issue to kill than expected, especially with the damned shield she had, and this night was a matter of time management in a way. As he went to try and do the same with the shield, it unfortunately did not have similar results; she was holding firm with it. As she tried to push him back, he would hold firm thanks to his wind dust blade helping to lessen her attack. He was thinking of using his vambrace again, or another way to break her guard with the shield, as his current arsenal and possibilities went through his mind...Though it was all for naught. It was then that his glowing eyes would reveal something, but far too late to save him. Her semblance. She may notice a look of surprise cross over his eyes a moment before her web explosion went off. Ghost having no way to hold on to anything or brace himself, not that it would be a good idea to do so, would be sent flying away from Arachne. Given the way they had been facing, he was sent flying up and back towards the way they came; exiting Arachne's sight as he flew over the trees and a distant crash could be heard.
Ghost would feel the explosive pain of the web detonating, barely having time to register what his semblance was telling him, before he was sent flying through the air. Passing over tree leaves and branches, the latter breaking as he shot through them, he would be released from the canopy to be directly beneath the starry night sky for a moment. It would be a nice sight, being above the canopy of trees underneath an ocean of stars, the cities distant lights and the relatively dim yet magical glow of the park...if not for reality sinking in. His aura had taken a major hit from the explosive; still active but drained to a significant degree. And after a moment of lull...he could feel gravity pulling at him. Rather than curse the woman, a faint smile was all that was on Ghost's lips before he hit the tree-line. A number of painful grunts and teeth clenching came as he crashed through a number of branches before hitting the "forest floor" of the park; having landed in some of the shrubbery. Landing not too far away from where their initial ambush and attack had begun. Bleeding in several spots, and bruised, he would force himself up through the pain and begin to crawl beneath the undergrowth. Doing his best to sneak away unseen in case there is any pursuit, he would lick the blood from his lips...as a sadistic smile came to his lips. 'Let the games begin,' he thought silently as he moved. 'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Akuryo watched as she was trapped, meanwhile his knives were in the air, he had just thrown the butcher knife before he saw the webs faint glow. His eyes went down and his aura instinctively activated before he was blasted up into the air, grunting loudly as he held his arms up, falling out of his darkness and rolling back with an audible grunt. The blast so close and right underneath, he got back to his feet, and looked to see his shoes were gone, his feet were scorched and just barely saved as he began to try and heal up as he looked around. He noticed that she hadn't remained in the darkness considering the roll, his body stumbling a bit before he got back up fully, and drew out one of his Black Durian Blades. He took sense as to how far he had gotten, and noted he was sent backwards by 80ft or so, he shook his head and looked to see the Spider lady was alone after the explosion. 'He must've gone in a different direction. Such an immense power from someone so high class...tch.' He was in his thoughts before he looked to see Violet on the ground moving, but not what she was doing or saying considering the distance.
He took a deep breath in and began to step his way forward, beginning to run quickly as he was trying to get into the range and still being aware of the gravity bubbles near his darkness, he grabbed out a red dagger and as he dove into the dark, he threw it towards Arachne as he called out. "What a beautiful explosion! I didn't know we would've had such an explosive reveal! I know it was obvious but it would be phosphorus for me to not bring it up!" He shouted with a grin, the red dagger aimed in an arc and primed to explode should it hit any part belonging to her, or hits the ground. He landed with his roll into the pitch darkness, his eyes narrowing as he rolled to the side onto his feet and winced as he couldn't kick off until the burnt flesh healed. The fact he was running was putting an agonizing feel through his body, but he was on the hunt and soon a sickening grin was on his face. A thought crossed his mind, 'One of them is bleeding...... she has to be my primary target.' He looked to see her in the process of getting up before he pulled out a second Black Durian, transforming both into a hand crossbow as he loaded it up with a bolt, taking another agonizing step as he fired a fast bolt towards her. The distance was definitely greater than 30ft but he had to angle it to try and hit her as she was moving anyways, so it was to make the hunt more entertaining for him.

Standing slowly once it was done, she rested her shield before her. Looking around at the park she would sigh in displeasure. It really did look like a large mine went off; trees uprooted and/or obliterated, ground cratered almost."If they didn't have aura, this would be a lot worse,"She thought, biting her lip a little. Shaking her head, she would waste no more time while others regained their footing to take out and load one of her fan's slots with fire and wind dusts. With it prepared, she'd then pick up her shield; her actions taking less than two minutes to do.
Hearing a voice then, she would glower where she heard it, unable to see much more in the dark than the shapes and colors from where she had been previously this evening. It wasn't who said it...but, What they said that made the arachnid giantess frown and shake her head."That was worse than my husband's jests,"The councilwoman thought; if it was not a killer saying it, she might've been amused...but not tonight. Keeping her guard up, she would hiss as she would block with the shield but jump back from the flames that had licked her treated silk robes, but did not catch as readily as other fabrics (like wool and cotton)."How obnoxious."The spider faunus checked her vision but for now did not see any signs of the dark assassin. Keeping a look out, she would start making her way towards the unnatural darkness...

The clock was striking midnight for this diva. She could feel it in her body. It was at its limit already. She never trained in stamina or endurance and it was showing tremendously. All she had was her aura and that was used up to mitigate the blast. She was prime target. Desperately, she pushed to force her body to move, but by the time she was able to make it on her feet, the feeling of something impaling into her body. The bolt from the crossbow coming down and impaling her right into her un-aura protected heart. The bad luck was continuing. Throwing up a bunch of blood, she would start to see the park become darker and darker. Her aura becoming unresponsive to her, as she helplessly tried to take the bolt out but to no avail. A thud sound would be produced from the smacking of Violet body against the ground. First blood had been scored by Akuryo.

Large dust: 2 Blue. tabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtab While out of sight, though not out of his target's mind, Ghost had been busy trying to recover and enact a plan that came to mind. While being blown up like he did was far from ideal, it did give him space from his target. What he did next would determine if that was good or bad, though his sadistic side was starting to kick in from the pain and finding a person who could hold their own in a fight again. He would sneak his way to where he had discard his crossbow, hearing the sound of movement and the horrible pun from Akuryo. 'Of all the things you could say...that was what you come up with,' he wondered in slight disappointment of the man. Not having much to change it, as he did not want to give up his element of surprise anymore than he was already planning to, he would focus on his own plan as he grabbed his crossbow. Checking his bolts, he would be disappointed to see he lost two of them from being sent flying by Arachne's semblance. 'I'll just have to make sure the final ones count,' he thought to himself silently. It was one he had been intending to use on both their targets if they had stuck together, but one was better than nothing at this stage. Especially with how hard it was to get past her defenses. The only thing that he knew worked was electricity; her main defense, the shield, was also the reason he could get so many zaps in. So his plan would be simple as he fixed a large blue dust crystal onto a bolt: create a big splash and then add a bit of electricity to hopefully stun her long enough to get the upper hand. The only issue would be in aiming the thing; while his crossbow was strong, this would significantly weigh down the bolt. And he still needed a follow up of lightning dust, that he preferably wasn't attached to, to pull it off without getting himself caught in the process.
While setting up in the dimly lit undergrowth, his eyes glowing violet still as he looked for Arachne, he would notice the other girl fall. Whether it was a permanent one or not, he was not sure. He also was not sure how the councilwoman would react to seeing her like that if she got close enough; 'Would she come to her aid or cut her losses?' Ghost would wonder to himself as he got the crossbow ready to fire. He would also, at this time, take out one of his smoke bombs and feed it some lightning dust. Sure, it released a bit of the smoke, but he was the one who made it so he was quick to seal it back. While he was relying on stealth now, and it was a risk to keep his semblance up, he needed to know the drawback of the council woman's semblance. He could not afford to get caught in another one of her explosive webs as his aura was barely holding on from the first one. Knowing he could not warn Akuryo without warning the targets, Ghost would silently enact his plan. It was a pretty simple one; based on how she would react to any potential attacks by Akuryo, Ghost would fire his crossbow up into the air in an arc so that it would come down roughly above where he believed she was going. It wouldn't be too accurate a shot in that it likely would not hit her, but he didn't need it to. It just needed to land close enough to her to splash her with the water that would come out on impact as a 3x3x3ft water balloon essentially, and spread out to cover the ground around it. While the bolt would be in air, Ghost would be making his own move by rushing out of cover and throwing one of his smoke bombs when he was within throwing distance of her. Only this time, on impact, it would give a brief burst of electricity in its radius. To hopefully electrify and stun, if not more, those caught in it's area. If Arachne happened to be by Violet when this happened, it was all the better as it would be two birds with one stone. As he rushed her, he would also learn her semblance drawbacks; though he mentally filed it away to be used later. Ghost equipment: Vambrace, Crossbow (6 bolts)(on ghost), 2 smoke bombs, one sword (From his profile). Small dust: 1 Yellow, 2 White, and 1 green. Large dust: 1 Blue. 'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Akuryo knew what he said was just awful, just terrible, yet it got her attention at the very least while he watched his crossbow bolt fly off and managed to land a hit into the poor Violet's heart, causing him to grin. 'This hand crossbow doesn't hit much.... but when it does, it is more satisfying than any knife throw I could make.' He thought to himself while he could barely crawl onto his feet, the burns on his feet still recovering as he looked to see her approaching. He wondered where Ghost was as he noticed her silk dress had been slightly singed, nothing burned or caught aflame, but just slight singe marks, causing him to realize he wasn't lucky with the attacks he's been making. He was practically crawling however, unable to be on his feet without severe pain striking him as the skin around his soles were still reconstructing with his aura. What's worse, was that his aura was practically only focused on his feet so he couldn't necessarily protect his torso without sacrificing his mobility. The more sound he made, he could see her making her way forward as he tried to be quiet, but that was when he noticed.... she was following his sound. He took a swallowed breath before he narrowed his eyes. He was just at the end of his darkness when he rolled out of it backwards, risking it for the biscuit in a sense as he got to his feet. He stifled his sounds before he grabbed his dark orange jar and threw it at her through the darkness.
He couldn't do much as he was now, not until his feet were healed up mostly so even standing with aura covering the wound to heal and protect was still putting pressure. He hoped that as the glass shattered next to the feet of Arachne, that the earth it conjured would try to wrap around her into a thousand pound weighted hill, namely to try and slow her down while she was in the darkness. He knew not where Ghost was, but if she was intent on following him, and made it past his sudden earth trap, then he'd show her the ramifications, turning around with his last Scalpel blade and throwing it with a spin at a large arc as it sailed across 60ft towards the downed woman with the intent of stabbing into the side of her throat at a vital vein.

•°o.O Arachne Webb O.o°• •°o.O Shadow Council Member to Ministry of Culture // Dressmaker O.o°• As Arachne entered the darkness, she would find her clear vision would be lessened to 10 feet rather than her usual 15 feet, though she would still move forward as she would listen for sounds only to find none for now. She would growl slightly in annoyance. "I will not let them get away," The councilwoman sighed a vow under her breath. Now, that didn't mean she'd kill them, but it wasn't out of the question either. She would frown at the sounds of glass breaking near her and then rumbling as earth moved for her. Wasting no time to ponder, less she wished to die she'd begin running through the darkness. As she did, she would be grabbing her silk threads from her spinnerets to make a loop and lasso. It would stop though as it reached the 3 feet distance, width, and height, having forced her further into the darkness.
Annoyed by this, she would take note to use it as cover later, before making her way out of this darkness as best she could with the 10-feet of sight. Only estimating where they could be, she would keep her shield in front as she moved. Her attentions on the makeshift darkness were little as she listened for any sounds outside to no avail right now."Where are they,"She pondered, her annoyance growing as she continued on the move. Her spider-sight lessened, the amazonian would eventually make it out of the darkness (if there's no more obstacles) but, there was no time to celebrate. The sight before her was not a happy one as she would find Violet's body with the scalpel in the throat and bolt in the heart. Shield still up, she would veil their forms just a little bit as she would close the girl's eyes and removed the objects to the ground before inserting large wind dust to her second fan; keeping it in her free hand.
As she processed this...visually, it seemed like she was changing as her black aura appeared to wisp around herself as she stood at her full 6 feet tall, though her out-stretched arachnid limbs made her look Much bigger. The feel of her seemed to be one of rage, danger, and murderous intent that reflected in all 6 of her eyes that turned to look at Akuryo."She was an innocent,"She thought, enraged; stupid as the child was, she was still an innocent and that, Arachne abhorred most. She was intent on charging the b*****d, adrenaline flooding her body as the monstrous female went in for the fight. Daggers thrown would not completely stop her as she would continue, though those that didn't bounce off her shield would still be in her, only making her pause for a split second before continuing. It would be during the charge that water would appear around them both, but she would pay it no heed; she was intent to kill. Injured or not, she would move her shield to her back as she took her second fan (the one filled from the small fire and lightning dust vials earlier) and crashed them against one another with enough force to activate her attack; a tornado from the large wind mixed of fire and lightning being directed at the dagger thrower (3 ftx3 ftx3 ft). "Eeee!!" Arachne cried out a high-pitched scream from the effect of the smoke/lightning bomb from Ghost's timed attack. Her body was stunned in that time, but she was more pissed now."You will pay for this."The spider faunus swore in her mind and was clear in her expression as she would try to recover to attack the b*****d once again, her spider-sight taking in everything within the 360-degrees, 15-feet radius as she kept her shield at her back.

Aura was fleeting fast but Violet was fighting to still somehow to push on. If she could just....survive. However, there was no letting up. One would expect another bolt but that seemed to not be the play for the male. Instead, a blade was tossed, aiming straight for Violet's neck. She pushed herself off the ground, trying to move anything that wanted to work to get out of the way but it never came. The movement was a memory. This was the end? NO. It couldn't be. IT WON'T BE! The stubborn woman put all she had into pushing up onto her knees, but this proved just to help the cause of the aggressor. Set in this kneeling position, a desperate bow one could say, she lined up her vein perfectly for the projectile to connect. If she stayed still, it would have missed her do to the range. Stubbornness seemed to be the theme. It was how she came into this world and how she was going to go out. Air was fleeting fast. One last act of defiance was on the woman's mind. Her hand would struggle to be held out, palm facing towards the general direction of the battle. The aura to try to produce use of her semblance was nonexistent. A glow from her fingertip would show before blowing away like a candle. Lifelessness overtaking the normally bright and vibrant hues of the purple-haired warrior. Vision gone, she reached out to cuddle the air, holding it as if she was gripping a stuffed animal but it just ended up having her slumped over with her arms outstretched once all life was gone from her body. First blood turned into the first kill.

Large dust: 1 Blue. tabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtab Ghost silently cursed as Arachne disappeared into Akuryo's darkness; he could guess where she was but he didn't want to waste his limited ammunition and dust. 'You shall not escape so easily. I have all the time I need,' he thought silently to himself as he began to move from his current position to try and find her. She could exit from any point of the darkness, but he had a feeling she was headed towards the younger girl. Or so he hoped at least; he had lost track of Akuryo a while ago and did not know where he was. 'This should also allow me to confirm if the girl is dead too,' he thought to himself silently. Slowly moving position, Ghost would arrive later than Arachne would as he heard the sounds of something going on in the darkness. Perhaps Akuryo was there, perhaps he was not; he could not concern himself with it for now. He would find Arachne already at the body of Violet and...removing the bolt and knife on her. Confirming that she was dead. He should have been setting up the shot but...he paused while watching. He had killed plenty of times before, but rarely was it ever a "kid"; even if the kid was directly Akuryo's. There was a certain...sanctity with death, when it came to Ghost. As violent and sadistic as he could be...Death was something he respected, including the dead. In his pause, he would notice something else too; her aura was flaring up. As she stood, black aura and limbs on full display, he could easily read her murderous intent. It was even a bit intimidating to him, if she were to catch him at a disadvantage, with him beginning to think she would be much less defensive now and more intent to kill them both. A cold, expression would settle across his face as she charged to Akuryo; the momentary cease-fire from him would be at an end. Setting up and aiming with his crossbow, he would wait long enough to gauge her speed before firing; unfortunately, she had closed the distance faster than he had expected and he could tell Akuryo may be caught in the bolt's effect. But it was an acceptable friendly fire to him.
Rushing out from cover, Ghost would toss his electrified smoke bomb and not pause in his charge. Nor would he spare a moments thought for if Akuryo would be safe from the effects or not. Before it landed, he would note she sent a mini tornado of a few elements at him; it would be a nasty hit if it landed, but it at least meant she was momentarily distracted. Long enough for his smoke bomb to land and seemed to stun her as he had a few options at his disposal; but mentally, he was done with long range combat. Seeing her respect the dead, and how much of a fight she gave, had awoken his more sadistic side; the side that liked to be up close and personal, to win a fight on fair grounds even if he may stretch out the kill if he felt he had the skill to. He may be able to just make it, as he pushed himself to go as fast as he could, when a thought crept into his mind; from his sadistic side. Hastily loading a wind dust arrow, he would have his crossbow ready and loaded as he would try to jump onto Arachne's back. One arm gripping around her neck, legs wrapping around her waist, and the rest of his movement would be determined by the others.
If Akuryo was still in sight and near, his free hand would aim the crossbow at him; to fire a wind dust at the floor by him and send him flying away as he wanted no interruptions before dropping the crossbow. Focusing for the moment of just holding onto her. "No hard feelings, but this one is mine. I want no interference," Ghost would say aloud to both Akuryo and Arachne. He would be trying to get a chokehold onto her, but it and his grip would be much more difficult to achieve and maintain as her paralysis would've worn off.
If Akuryo was already blasted far enough away by Arachne, he would instead immediately drop the crossbow and have the other hand come up in an L-shape; having his other hand try to hook onto his bicep as he would try to squeeze down to have her in a choke hold. "Lets simplify this fight to just you and I; only one of us will leave here alive. Consider it a gift for your respect for the dead," he would whisper into her ear with a smile to his lips before speaking louder. "Don't interfere Akuryo, this one is mine," he would yell almost commandingly.
He would also learn weaknesses in her aura; though he wasn't sure how he could take advantage of it at the moment as his violet eyes glowed still for now. Akuryo's blade had hit it's mark, his eyes looking back to see Violet reaching a hand out with a small glow before it faded as his eyes looked back to Arachne as Violet's body fell into a slow pooling of blood as she entered his darkness. He kept his guard up before he brought another blade to his right hand as she managed to evade his earthen grasp. He mentally cursed as he saw her run and soon stand outside of the darkness as he was now in her field of vision. He kept his knees bent, his eyes focused as she covered her own own visage, moving towards Violet as Akuryo moved to keep his distance, seeing the spider limbs it was obvious now what happened earlier. "Those limbs..... that of a spider." He commented aloud as she removed the killing weapons, he wondered how she did it while he couldn't see what was removing them. 'Did she use her bare hands to remove them? She could leave her own fingerprints there.' He thought before he saw her Aura slowly flare up and soon he could see her spider parts become more apparent when he could see the six eyes of hers staring directly at him.
He clenched his teeth, standing his ground as he threw a quick chef's knife straight and true, only for it to bounce off her shield, causing him to glare. He removed his jacket to reveal his bandolier of blades before grabbing three throwing daggers with his right hand, and skillfully threw them in three seperate arcs to try and go around her shield to hit her arms or her spider limbs while he soon noticed how close she was getting when the water suddenly splashed around. He realized the idea and changed his aura from healing to full on defense as he raised his crossbow up in a defensive manner just as she moved her shield to her own back. She was on the offensive now and he closed his eyes, trying to figure out what to do as he could turn down the darkness, giving his ally more field of view on her, but he would lose his own ability to hide. He opened his eyes at the sudden build of air as he looked to see a fire and lightning vortext swirl towards him, his eyes went wide before he could hear her scream of pain. He could see the shadow of Ghost and with an oncoming form of wind, fire, and lightning coming towards him, he knew what to do, He took a deep breath and dropped the crossbow as he pulled out two light blue daggers. He brought his feet together and stabbed the watery ground right next to his hurt feet, freezing his feet to the ground with the aide of water and anchoring himself as he curled up into a ball. His aura, held up, tanking the actual attack as the lightning couldn't conduct through ice properly, the fire did melt it slightly, but with the speed of the wind and the one way direction it went, Akuryo had to push through, His aura extended to cover the ice, keeping him anchored and saving the ice long enough for the attack to fully pass him. He fell to his knees, panting as his aura was flickering on and off while he looked to see the Ghost trying to put the Arachnid into a chokehold. He smirked before he spoke. "Fair enough, you better pull her away, last thing I need is to be within range of that explosive attack you two pulled." He stated, knowing it had to come from either of them since he hadn't seen the ghost use his semblance, to his knowledge as he decided to break the ice around his feet to roll away from the two.

•°o.O Arachne Webb O.o°• •°o.O Shadow Council Member to Ministry of Culture // Dressmaker O.o°• Still enraged, Arachne growled from the pain and anger. Striking blue eyes glowering intensely at her target as he seemed to evade her fist attack. Was she not interrupted with the lightning, it was clear she would've attacked again. Biting her lip, she would bear through the pain. Rather than getting to attack again, she would feel someone jump on her back, putting her chin down just before an arm came around her neck and grabbing at it to lock on it before the dark assassin could finish. "Get off!" The councilwoman growled even as he whispered in her ear, losing her footing and falling back Hard; her shield would ram into her attacker before she would roll off just as swiftly after unlocking his arm from her. Standing and turning to face him, her extra limbs twitching from her agitation."What is with this psycho,"She thought, shield before her as she listened calmly, though thoroughly irritated.
She would glare at the man that had attacked her but listened well; having given him the courtesy to stand back up. He had spared her for this. For the chance to go toe-to-toe...Out of her respect for the dead. Her expression, though annoyed only in the eyes now as her form, guarded but calm as she reeled back her anger."So, this really might be the end...if so..."She thought before sighing softly and looking to the tall assassin. "I accept, on one condition...Should I be the one to fall, I request my dying words be in a call to my family," Arachne answered, calmly making a 'dying person's last rites' request. Her expression was one of a calmed warrior; one who's accepted this would be their last battle."Do you have any last wish before you die?"The spider faunus seemed to inquire. Once he'd make his request, she would take position, ready to defend or attack, depending on her opponent's first actions. Then the duel would begin...

One arm gripping around her neck, legs wrapping around her waist, and the rest of his movement would be determined by the others.

Large dust: 1 Blue. tabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtabtab Before he could get the inside of his arm around her neck for his planned chokehold, the arachnid would react fast and duck her chin in to prevent him from doing so. An annoying setback, but he could adapt; it only meant the fun would last a while longer. She would tell him to get off of her in a growl, before his added weight seemed to tip them over; an unfortunate result as it meant she slammed down on him with her full weight and her annoying shield making it all the rougher. It was enough of a surprise that Ghost's hold of her weakened just enough for her to break free and roll off of him. It unfortunately meant the monologue he had planned would be interrupted, momentarily, but it at least hinted what was to come would not be a let down. Hopefully. She would quickly rise to her feet, as Ghost had rolled and had done so similarly; while he may've had the most impact from the fall he was not one to remain dazed easily. Seeing her limbs twitch in agitation only made his amusement grow as he laid out what he planned; a one on one match between them. He would also tell Akuryo to leave her to him, to which he asked Ghost keep her away so he wasn't affected by her explosive. "You don't have long before she can do so again so I would get moving while you have the chance. I can't guarantee where this fight may go," Ghost would respond to him as Akuryo would take the chance to begin his escape. His eyes would go back to Arachne to see that she was not approaching him for the moment, he would watch her as he waited; curious how she was going to react. He would watch as, while still annoyed, she seemed to lose a bit of her anger as he spoke; 'It seems we have a taker,' he thought to himself. What was most curious was that she accepted his challenge...with a condition. Not that she really had a right to request one; this was more a favor for her odds than his own already. But hearing her final request...it almost spoiled Ghost's bloodlust to hear it. Almost. "Of all the things to request...at least she knows she will die,' he thought to himself silently.
"You are hardly in a position to make requests, or deny my challenge. Even requesting I restrict my routes of attack so that you may still speak if I were to prevail. But so be it; I accept your terms on the condition that you do not try anything. On the slightest suspicion you call for help, they will hear your death," he would respond with a calm smile to his lips. Her condition meant he would need to mostly paralyze and target her other limbs; or hit a major organ that will give her some minutes to live. She was choosing a more painful death, which suited him well enough. He also had ideas now, but that would come much later. He could see she was calm now, prepared for her end, though she seemed to be expecting him to make a last wish. He merely shook his head, smile still to his lips as his vambrace dagger was unsheathed. "My only request is that you don't make this too easy, Arachnid. An assassin has long come to terms with their own death," he would respond with a bit of morbid...amusement in his words. As he did so, she would notice his eyes stopped glowing now; they had been glowing all throughout their fight. As far as she knew, his glowing eyes may've been a sign of him using his semblance. But besides her own explosion, there had been no sign of anything going on. What it could've been doing was yet to be known as Ghost was mulling over telling her. For now, Ghost would allow her the first move. He knew she could very well just wait to use her explosive, but he had a feeling she wouldn't leave this as a staring contest. He had been on the attack all night; he was now curious what she could do in regards to that. His crossbow, for now, was still on the ground nearby him; he wasn't sure if he would use it or not, but he wanted her to come in close and not play defensive. If she proved too passive he could always use it.
If she attacks, i'll do his response in his next post. If she chooses not to attack and stay in a stand off for him, he would go for his crossbow and aim with a regular bolt to her to get her to move or react before following it with the wind dust bolt to try to blow her off her feet. Akuryo heard the ghost and chuckled as he nodded his head, choosing to move and run away, heading to Violet's body as he used the blade to harvest her suit's mechanical wire weapons at least as he ran off, limping while the two seemed too focused on one another as he was thankful there would be no attempts on him. He slowly focused aura upon his feet to help him run fast, pacing himself as he grinned. "Good luck spectre and spider! And enjoy your battle to the death!" He called out in an echo loud enough only for the two to hear as he finally left the battle arena.
