Einhornhohle gave the general a soft smile and with her left hand, she reached over to give Cavansite's a gentle squeeze. "Thank you," she replied quietly. "I'd miss you too."
At least here, on her wonder, they could talk to each other civilly. For however long the two of them decided to stay, they could imagine that they weren't on opposite sides of the war and just be themselves. It took getting used to, ignoring the General's chaotic signature, but it was becoming a bit easier the longer they sat beside each other.
"Nobody governs me or checks up to make sure I'm powering up." Ein turned her gaze back towards the horizon, to the fine thin line on the far distance where the sky met water and she wondered just how far that expanse went before it simply ceased to exist. Knight's wonders weren't borderless and she found herself curious about what the edge of hers looked liked and what would happen if she stepped through.
"However, there's this feeling..." She let go of Cavansite's hand and moved to place her palm above her own heart. "When I'm stressed or anxious or..." Ein sighed... "Or if I'm feeling lost there is this feeling; like a light tug on an invisible string pulling me back here. It's not demanding like a boss telling me I must return. But more like a small child holding onto the end of a heartstring guiding me here and I'm helpless but to follow."
