"Oh... okay, that's good." He said, sighing, though he still wasn't too sure about the ghost thing. Even if she did say they couldn't touch things, could they possess people? He would just have to take a chance going back to his Wonder then. "I'll uh, keep that in mind then. But I'm thankful for the heads-up about it. Pretty sure I would scream if I saw them first. Well, I still might." He grimaced. "Chaos makes sense since it sounds like we can do something about it. Ghosts though? If our magic doesn't affect them, then I don't know what we would do if they decided to attack." He wasn't implying that they would. Just that there was the real possibility... "Sounds like I just need to go there. Though I guess if you don't see my back at my job within a month it means I didn't make it back." He said smiling a little. "Though I would hate to be a Page for such a short time. I'll do my best not to lose." He wasn't sure what that entailed exactly, but hopefully while he didn't have any magic he could avoid anything too dangerous. He shook his head. "Enough about me though and my very real fear of ghosts, any other things or tips I should know with all of this Knight stuff? Anything you want to vent about?" He asked her with a grin. "Always available for a good vent!"

Pendour shook her head, still not quite sure to make of such a reaction. "I'll come with you and talk to the ancestor for you if you're so nervous," she said. The other planets likely had danger to them, as Earth did, but she doubted that the ghosts were something to worry about. "And it's possible that you don't have one. Not everyone does." Although it did seem more than a little likely in his case, with the heirloom and all. The invitation to vent got a smile from her, although she didn't say anything right away. Giving the circumstances, she was not about to complain about her own problems with ghosts and bones. "Not a vent, but I do have a question for you, maybe," she said instead. "Do you know anything about plumbing?" She nodded skyward yet again. "I'm trying to fix some things up on Neptune, but it's turning out to be all complicated and it's not like I can hire someone, really." She had looked through a few handyman websites, but of course nobody's area of service extended to anywhere but Earth. "My best option now is to learn what I can on YouTube and to try not to break anything."

He gave her a smile. "I appreciate the help, but I want to go on my own at first. But if I make it out of there, I would love to take you later." That would make him feel better. And heck, maybe he would have found some artifacts by then that he could show off and tell her or any other visitor about! He shook his head at her plumbing question, his smile dropping. "Unfortunately not. I'd love to say that I do, but unless you're talking about ancient plumbing back in Greece, then I haven't got a clue." He said with a shrug. "I'm sure there's some Knight out there though that has some knowledge. Just means we need to go out and meet more right? If I run into one I can tell you about them and see if they can help!" Connections would have to be made, not just for plumbing issues, but he wasn't sure how they would really get along as a group if they just continued to keep to themselves all of the time. It was starting to get late even though he was enjoying the conversation. He did have work the next day. "I appreciate all of your help in explaining this to me." He gave her a grin. "A lot better than wandering around in the dark just to get some answers." It gave him something to start with at least! "As much as I would like to continue the conversation, I have to work tomorrow and it's getting a bit late. I'd like to contact you later though, is there a way to do that?"

"I understand. It can be a very personal thing," said Pendour with a deep nod. She'd taken someone with her to her wonder the first time she'd gone, and he'd ended up stranded on the empty shore for a time while she introduced herself to Irving. For now, though, she smiled, soft as soft, at Voyager. "Well, good luck." Maybe she should have guessed that an archeologist was not a plumber. "It's ancient in a way, and there are even aqueducts like Rome had, but there are also pipes and pumps in metal I've never seen on Earth." Yes, it would take someone with knowledge on magical things to know how to fix them, really. Maybe a cat could help? "That's okay, though. I'll keep asking around." She glanced upwards again, although this time she was looking more at how the moon had shifted slightly in the sky. It was getting late. Pendour tapped her signet. "These rings can send messages, but that will likely be on your Wonder, too. Um, for now," she focused for a moment, and pulled an iPhone from subspace, then squinted at it while she scrolled to her contacts page. "There's always the normal way." She opened up a new contact entry and offered the phone to him.

"I'd love to see them sometime, even if you haven't found a way to repair them yet." He said. Perhaps he would take a sketchbook back with him. Or maybe if the pipe could be replaced he could keep one that was no longer in use? Well, that was something to ask much later, perhaps if he got a second visit. He looked at her ring when she brought attention to it and nodded. "I'll keep an eye out for it then. Glad I could get all of this information, I'm sure it would have taken much longer to figure things out if I was going into it blind." When he saw her take out her own phone and offered him the phone, he took it and quickly entered his information. "I know we just met and you're much more experienced, but if you ever need to just talk, I'll be here. I love listening to a good rant." He smirked while giving her back the phone. "I'll make sure to add you to mine as well! Hopefully I'll get the ring soon though and I can try out how all of this messaging stuff works with it."He was happy though. The night had turned out quite fulfilling, even if it was late. Unfortunately he really needed to go now. "I have to get going. Thanks for the contact exchange and again, all of the information. I'll make sure to text you sometime and make sure to keep me in mind when you can take someone back to your Wonder again!" He said giving her a smile and waited for her to say her own goodbyes to him before he headed off. At least sleeping tonight would be easier! stari_maga Hopefully that didn't feel too rushed there, but fin on my side! Feel free to do your own ending post if you want!
