Then looked at back the dog. It claimed that he was a teacher but it was odd having a teacher as a dog. But that's the things with magical beings.
"So you're a teacher? If you say so... But it would be self-defenses wouldn't it cause you're the one that decided to come at us from behind."
She shrugged her shoulders.

Gelt's eyes narrowed on the dog. A rather stern expression seemed to wash across his face before disappearing in the same moment. He wasn't use to being threatened and he didn't take it lightly especially with the threat of death. The creature also decided to shove off its own skill of teleporting as if trying to act cute. Thankfully the more relaxed nature of Zara helped his atmosphere as he relaxed again when she introduced herself. Gelt took a second before he introduced himself." I am the Mage of Gold and Lead, Aurum Gelt. Tis a pleasure to make your acquaintance Merlin". His tone was strictly formal in the regarding of how he had chosen to deal with this teacher. A slight bow was offered as an extension of the greeting before he returned to his standing posture.

 Merlin the grand mage
Professor of Dark arts Merlin starts to glow softly before changing into a human form and he looks at the two of them and laughs a little. "Will its nice to meet you both,and Zara you seem to have an odd idea of self-defiance,besides I wouldn't dream of attacking some one out of the blue unless its a test in class even then it wouldn't hurt them. He then he turns to look at Gelt and smiles. "Oh I have heard about you,you have some pretty ingratiating magic."

She was surprised at how good-looking he looked. Once she realized that she was staring at the man, her face got really red and covered her face with her cap. Zara gave a breath.

Gelt's eyes narrowed at merlin when he spoke of Gelts magic. Few people knew of him and his family these days. Even fewer knew of the curse that gave birth to his magic. His body language became guarded as his hands reached to clasp each of his elbows, his arms crossing his chest. People that pried into his lif where the greatest of annoyance to the Mage of Gold. "Thank you Mister Merlin, your words are a kindness" His voice was still the neutral tone it had been. From the corner of his eye he could see Zara seemed to be flustered. Her face was a cherry red which caused the mage to groan internally yet it was her poke at the question that had remained unanswered. "Yes I myself am curious as to answer to the same question as well" He said as his arms gently relaxed a bit but still showed a guarded stance towards merlin if he was good at reading body language.

Professor of Dark arts Merlin watched the two of them after he changed and gives a smile. "Will for starts in order for it to be self-defense I would have had to attack you first so if you attacked me first then its not self-defense,and as to your question I was simply watching you two after all one of the best way to get to know people its to watch them." He says with a little smile and a little sprite appeared beside him and starts speaking into his ear.

"Calm down Gelt... It'll be alright."
She looked back over to Merlin giving a slight nod of her head. She understood what he was saying of course but she was a Satyr and was always prepared for anything. But hearing him say that watching people was the best way to know someone was a little weird and abnormal.

Gelt was about to retort merlin, about to tell him that is incredibly odd for a person to just stalk and watch other people instead of just approaching them,. yet it was Zara's action of simply touching his arm that caused him him to react rather suddenly and quickly as he jerked his arm away from her. Fear, that of Primal emotion shown through his eyes and body language. He stood silent after his quick jerk away."Please Zara, I must ask you not to lay a hand on me". He said his voice urgent and yet very authoritative. He did his best not meaning to snap at her with anger as she didn't know. Where she touched him on his arm the fabric of the shirt had bled gold, brilliant in its sheen and color. "I'm sorry for the suddenness" . His voice was genuine in its apology as a ring of symbols seemed to snake up from his gloves to the golden handprint, they seemed to shine different colors before they snaked back and the handprint faded leaving it seem as if nothing had happen in the first place.

Professor of Dark arts Merlin watched what happened his eyes glinting slightly before he spoke again. "Thats easy for me to answer,I get more out of watching people then talking to them when you have been around as long as i have you tend to watch rather then talk,it would seem what i heard was right such a sad thing not being able to touch something. He says his voice had a honest sad tone to it before he turns around. "I am sorry i held you two up for so long,please enjoy your selfs but please behave. He says with a grin as he starts walking away.

"I am so sorry Gelt. I didn't know that I couldn't touch you. I didn't mean to make you feel this way and I will never touch you again. I was just trying to help the situation."
A frown formed on her face and looked down at the hand that touched him. How could be so stupid as to do something like that. She knew she was trying to be helpful but maybe she should have asked to touch Gelt rather than just do it out of the blue.
"There's o need to apologize Gelt. It was very my fault. I should have at least asked if I could touch you before I did so."
She saw that merlin was leaving, so she bowed her head in respect.

Gelt seemed to just stand there, Through Merlin's pitying words about never being able to be touched by another being. Yet is was the kind yet panicked words that came from Zara that hurt more and seemed to put a crack in the fabric of his soul. Yet his face had gone on guard and reacted with a friendly smile. The smile said everything is alright and not to worry."Zara don't worry about it, I'm just glad nothing happen to you, most people usually turn gold when exposed any longer then a quick intervention." He said his voice more of an informative tone then a concern one. His facial expression was still neutral as he turned to merlin's exit. "Have a good afternoon Teacher" Gelt said as he turned his attention back to Zara before him.

How could she not awe with all the colors and characters around her? Still, taking the time to do so had taken a hefty toll on her shoulders and arms. Memorielle had all her personal belongings on her person, you see. Maybe going to her dorm to drop everything off should have been the first thing to do on her checklist, but alas here she is, more or less lost in the hallways.
"Ugh... Heavy..." With a hefty sigh, the girl placed her bags at her feet for quick repose.
Since she was resting, now was a better time than ever to examine that mysterious 'cell phone' she had been given along with her acceptance letter. "..." And well, it sure was something, wasn't it? One of its features mentioned by the headmaster was the ability to locate professors and staff. Oh. Luckily, there were some just in the vicinity. Right over...

Not too far away was the group of three; staff, student, and professor. The red clad girl took this opportunity to ask for some help. "Excuse me? Hello, I'm sorry to bother." Memorielle bowed to them politely, the house servant bow she had grown so accustomed to. "Would you happen to know the direction of the girl's dorms?" Her eyes trailed down to heavy bags which were then promptly kicked at with the heel of her boot. "I'm afraid I've been wondering about for a while now." Professor of Dark arts Merlin stops when he hears another voice and turns as a young girl calls out to them and he gives a little smile and makes his way over to her and returns the bow she gave him. "Will hello there you just caught me,i was about to leave,can i get your name then i can take you to the right place." He says warmly before tapping his heel and her bags gently start to float into the air.

By the height of this girl, she couldn't believe she was carrying all of that. Zara saw Merlin using magic to help and he was such a show-off. She wanted to roll her eyes at the poor man but decided not to. Zara gave the girl a small wave and a smile.
"Hello there and unfortunately I don't know where the dorms are located. I'm actually getting shown around the school with this gentleman here."
Zara motioned over to Gelt.

Step...Step....Step...Stop the light sound of footsteps caused the Mage of Gold to turn softly on his heel to face the sounds he heard. What he found was a young wizard in a red dress giving a polite bow to the three of them with an apologetic greeting. She explained she was lost and was looking for the girls dormitory. Gelt didn't even have a second to answer her question before the teacher Merlin replied to her question. The slight click of merlin's heels behind him was heard as he noticed the young girls bag begin to float as he offered to show her the way.
A cross of annoyance flashed on Gelt's face for a brief second as he wished to at lest introduce himself to the other student. He gave a respectful bow in return to the young lady. "Tis a pleasure to meet with you miss, The teacher Merlin will be happy to show you to the women's dormitory".His words where kind as he spoke to her. Zara's words as well told she was just inexperienced as she seemed when it came to traversing the school. Her motion to him as his guide lead to a bit of embarrassment from the mage. His hand rubbed the back of his neck out of habit."Please I am not an expert on the school I can only show what I know of and where I have been". He said as he pulled his hand from his neck after a few seconds. He turned to Zara ready to suggest the next place they could head. "Would you care to see the mess hall or the small cafe we have on campus next?" He said his voice a little lighter as he spoke yet also an open invitation to those around.
