Koril's breath burst from his chest at the abrupt shift, but more from thrill than the impact. His attention was completely on the man hovering over him. The past months had been a reintroduction, exploring and learning and simply enjoying what had been missing for too many years. With the drudgery of 'normal' life out of the way, when it was truly just the two of them.. all of the underlying feelings were suddenly bursting forward.
Now there was nothing beyond the two of them, and nothing, aside from themselves, to block what needed to be said. Sol's hungry voice sent a tremor along Koril's back, his body arching up eagerly. "Sol.." he reached up to loop his arms around and comb his fingers through Sol's hair, needing something to hold on to. Sol's lips were just so distracting, yet pulled out of him as well. "Sol, I wanna stay with you. I wanna keep you, too.. because... I need you." Could he say it? "Because I love you." Well, he'd said it.

[9/10]
Sol couldn't help the way his breath shuddered when Koril actually said. Hearing that you were needed and loved by your family was well enough, but to hear it from someone else...from someone who had no ties to you, that could leave whenever they wanted...was something else entirely. It connected the physical aspects of their relationship to the ache in his heart and made him cherish this man all the more.
Sol shifted his hand away from Koril's shoulder, gliding it along the flesh of his collar bone up his neck until it finally settled around his cheek. He used it to help guide him back to the other hybrid's face. "I love you too, Koril. I love you so much." Greedily, Sol leaned in for a kiss.

A similar feeling radiated through Koril when the tender words were echoed back at him. He had always been surrounded by the love of his family, but hearing it from Sol- no- feeling it from Sol made an impact on a completely new level. All that time back in Matori feeling restless and eager to travel again hadn't been about being on the road. It had meant returning to the missing part of his life. His eyes began to mist over and a happily overwhelmed laugh of joy started to rise, but it was muffled by those delicious lips. "I'm staying," he promised when he was able to catch a breath between kisses, cementing the decision in his mind. "I'm staying."

[10/10]
There had been a period in Sol's youth that emotion had consumed him. It had been right after he'd started to lose his eyesight, but after things started to dim. Through time he'd worked out a middle ground, a way to live, but through Koril his world was starting to feel brighter. He'd gotten excited when his father had come back to life, sure, and when he'd gained three new siblings, but nothing compared to this. Maybe it was greedy of him to feel that way or even a little callous, but Sol didn't really care.
"Tomorrow," He murmured against Koril's lips. "We can visit the hotspring tomorrow."

Koril had grown up seeing how in love his parents were and admiring that special bond. Finding that same kind of love had been a relationship goal that he had been uncertain that he could ever gain. Now he found himself jumping head first into that pool of love and affection that had been waiting for him, and he couldn't wait to find out how deep that pool went for them.
He chuckled lightly, replying with only a noise of dismissive agreement as he locked their lips together again. The water would surely be there tomorrow~
