Narcissus couldn't say for sure what he'd been expecting. Certainly not for Rakovanite to tell him that he was the chosen one. The effort he'd put forth had not been in vain, and Rakovanite was proud to have such a daring and bold man to be helping him through these trying times.
No, certainly not that.
But Narcissus might have hoped for more than an annoyed look and brisk departure. It was supposed to just be a game, after all, so there should've been some element of playfulness to it. Despite a little disappointment towards the terse outcome, Narcissus could at least be relieved that nothing worse had come from it... So far that anyone could tell.
There had been an awful lot of throwing people around at one point, and Narci was a little surprised that Diesel had also hopped on that train without much thought. Still, things would probably settle significantly more quickly with the very obvious aggressor having decided to depart. It just kinda made Narcissus tired to think about, and he wondered if he'd be dealing with a grouchy agent later.

Getting thrust into the air against his will hadn't been on his list of things to do today, but then again none of this had and by the very nature of what he was being hurled into oblivion was generally par for the course. Thus, when Diesel saw fit to cast his magic on the man there was little more that Athalia could do other than to accept his fate. Whether he liked it or not, he had been turned into a missile of 'epic' proportions and hurled upwards towards Rak in what could only be regarded as 'returned fire'.
Fortunately, Rak had already seen fit to move. Something had distracted him and it afforded Athalia a rare opportunity to catch himself as he came to the pinnacle. Further acrobatics followed, enough to deserve yet more eyerolling, but as the senshi finally managed to land firmly on the roof again he came to realise that the entire reason he'd been thrown up here was gone.
Wonderful.
A brief glance towards Narcissus indicated that he'd also lost that challenge as well. Someone had gotten up to the top before them all and to be fair, Athalia hadn't even realised he'd been there. Stealth paid off apparently, even if he was fairly certain Shaowei would express her disappointment at him later.
"Congratulations," he murmured, glancing quickly towards his wrists at the tiny glimpses of red. The heat rash would fate in time and all things considered that had been an interesting experience, had Diesel been on the same side as him he might even have seen a use for that in the future. For now though? Well, with victory snatched from his grasp he was free to return to what he had planned to do for today and perhaps he'd actually make some progress on that.
...Suffice to say the next time Shaowei demanded anyone defend anyone's honour, she'd be doing it herself!
At least getting down was easy, a simple step off the edge and a willing descent was much less terrifying than falling backwards. The superman landing at the end was more of a bonus than anything else.
