Hades would smirk at his response. Confident and cocky as ever but he was at least someone that could back it up. "You may have somewhat of potential little Demigod. However, you lose your divinity and you will float too~" He stated the last part a little colder than what was expected to come out of Hades. It was time to kill more grim. Everyone was doing their part on the manner. Even some faces he did not know. Dodging a slash of a beowulf, he ducked lazily with an egotistical grin that would soon change once he noticed a few strands of hair was clipped by the claws. This ticked him off. With the beowulf coming back for an attack, Hades would reach out his hand and show off his strength as he started choking the beast of darkness. Smacking it to the ground, he would stomp on its head causing it to dust from his strength and the blades from his treks. "You got some nerve" he whispered before the wheels would recede. No more skating. He was going to dance on them now.
Starting with some kicks to soften up the Ursa, he would launch it into the air and juggle it a little with more kicks. All Hwonglike from Tekken (kicking dude. If you know. You know) Once she started heading to the ground, he would sented hi staff, letting the Ursa become impaled from its weight before being dusted. "Tooo easy. but at least there aren't any troublesome grim. Then that would be a pain. " he thought to himself. He probably was cursing it but who knows. "A god grows bored~ Yet, I feel something may be coming. Soon" Hades commented before looking to watch Svafnir fight. Oh we going to get our match soon He thought to himself before kicking a shell at a beowulf that his semblance showed him. The beowulf was not attacking but was instead snacking on a student. RIP little Jimmie. Seems he won't be coming back for the next semester. It came with the job. Suctioning in air as a reload through his skates, he was curious. How did this happen?
Beneath the night of a full moon, a wolf was traversing the outskirts...followed by two black wolves. The wolf had been running for quite some time, the sound of footfalls and growls not far behind it. It had a bit of blood across its multicolored fur and muzzle, but nothing serious it seemed. As it raced through the forest of the outskirts, he could hear the sound of battle ahead but it couldn't move to avoid it. It had a pack (3) of black wolves (beowolves) following behind it and steadily gaining. Which was out of the ordinary, given grimm usually ignored wild life. The wolf had been headed to its pack before it had been ambushed, and forced to go this way. And it knew it could not run forever, nor would it's pursuers ever give up in their chase. With those fleeting thoughts in mind, it ran into the source of the battle. Finding many more black beasts there, and the two-legged creatures as well, locked in combat. Blood was very much present in the air but it had no time to think on that. Weaving through the battlefield, the wolf would try to lose the pursuing grimm in the battle but to little avail except slow them down. But slowing them down was all it needed for the time being. The wolf would do a wide turn, circling back and going for the lagging beowolf chasing him. He would charge into it, knocking the surprised grimm down. Wrestling with tooth and claws, blows being exchanged by both, the wolf with blue eyes would bite into the grimms neck and tear it out as the girmm turned to dust. It barely had a moment to recover before one of the other beowolves chasing it would tackle it behind, having the two begin to roll on the ground as blood and fur would be spilled. The blue-eyed wolf growled in pain and anger, as did the beowolf, as they separated from one another. The beowolf's ally arriving as they separated and got to their feet again.
In the middle between the two grimm, the wolf would wait and growl with eyes on both as they circled it. For any looking, they would notice something peculiar on the regular wolf as well. It almost seemed to have a black collar with a small music box on it; though it was heavily covered by fur. The wolf was a bit bloody, but seemed to be alright. Ears and eyes alert, it waited for an attack or opportunity...and got one. The major had shot back an Ursa at that time, and its towering body had crashed into one of the wolves and crushed as its body fell atop it before the Ursa faded to dust. The other Grimm was caught off guard by this, and partially stunned. Taking advantage of the chance, the blue-eyed wolf would pounce the remaining beowolf and bring it to the ground. Paws raking into the grimms body, the wolf would begin to tear at the beowolfs mid section as it howled in pain and turned to dust. Panting, the wolf would turn away from its kill and look around. It had caught the attention of another Ursa that was slowly headed towards it. The wolf would bare its fangs and howl before charging towards the Ursa. OOC: 2 beowolves killed by wolf, one accidentally by Major Tom
Violet was heading home. Her body tired from dancing. The last night of the festival suppose to be a part no? She was walking back when the alarms went off because she refused to get on the transport. The last transport had room but she had to sit next to faunus and she was damn sure wasn't going to be caught up next to some faunus. "Hmph. Of all my luck. It could not be a trade or some fine a** teacher but had be some mutt of a faunus." She started before noticing the alarms. She would almost faint as she saw the huntsmen and others springing into action. Especially one that seemed to have a scythe. Was dark haired. She did not know he was a faunus. She thought he was human. "Yes baby that boy fiine~ Sweetie where you going?" She commented but it was to herself so was not going to be heard. Looking, she was able tell where people were going to. The wall. I don't have to fight.. some cute boy could gladly save me and fight for me...Damn it. Do I even have blackburn on me? She thought to herself. The suit was not in her bag. Was she really going to go under-prepard to the wall in order to look at some fine men and women? Yes she was! "Screw Blackburn. I trying to be someone's momma tonight!"
Violet was an interesting person. She was wild and outragious and flirty but if ask about it next day you was going to feel her cold wrath. She was for someone who liked living in the moment. A person of risque. One of don't ask and don't tell. Perfect for some but a heartbreaker to others. She could of called her weapon to her from the locekr but she wasn't thinking about that. Making it to the wall, her speed was impressive, making it take less time than others. Even beating some of the huntsmen that was getting ready. She would come in just in time to watch the combos of Hades and Svafnir before her eyes sparkled. "OOO~ SO strong!! and Scrumptious~ Aho~" She stated before looking over and seeing the similar figure from earlier. The hair gave it away (Hermish) Ooo, he strong too!. Fawning over the situation, she could not wait for this to be over and for her to sink her teeth into one. Unfortunately, she was not going to be able to watch for long.
Being deflected, a borboartusk would smack into the wall near the area that she was standing causing her to fall onto the ground. Luckily, defensive aura was to save the day! Glad I wore shorts today.. My a** would of just been all out she groaned. She was seductive but she was no hoochimama! Getting up, she would groan more before beowulf saw her. "Ummm...Oh no. Keep your R-Kelly claws to yourself. You touch me, You going to be seeing Tupac le goat. On Gawd!" She stated before a pop of her mouth echoed. The Beo looked confused but still would attack. Releasing blast of intense light, the beowulf would be knocked back and burned. Yet, it survived. Looking at the thing and being up close, Violet freaked. She only defensed herself due to instinct. Luckily Major Tom handled the rest and finished it off. Trying to catch her breath, she would get up. "I should of gotten blackburn"

The huntsman in training had been up late reading, having wanted to catch up on some books, and as such while the siren caught him completely and utterly by surprise...He was quick to rise, leaving the book on his bed, and change into his hunter gear. It wouldn't do to rush out in civilian clothes and barely equipped against the grimm; the few extra minutes of prep should prove to be worth it. He left his hound to help guard the dorm room in case anything happened, and because he did not want to risk his hounds life on such a large scale attack. Weapons sheathed, attire worn, he would quickly move out of the dorm and to the shuttle; boarding with a few other students as they were headed to the source of the sirens; the wall. It had been some time since his last encounter with the grimm, mainly the caves, but his hatred for them still ran as deep as ever. And a chance to protect so many people from them...it was a call he could never resist. The shuttle didn't go all the way to the wall though, stopping short due to the threat of aerial grimm which was logical, and they were told they would have to continue on foot. Wasting no time, Chase would do so without hesitation and run at his full speed to the wall. Once there, they would meet the person in charge who would state the two places they needed to be. The gate for ground assault, or the wall for aerial assault. Chase was thinking of going to the ground, waiting with that group as he saw a girl and a mech suit ascend the wall above, when the explosion hit. Having not been prepared for it, Chase was knocked off his feet. Defensive aura up to prevent injury, but he still felt the force of it. Groaning slightly, he would push himself up to his feet to see the major leading a charge through the gate and into the grimm. Noting how many people were actually going to be fighting down there as his gaze went to the sky. 'The wall is vulnerable.' He thought to himself as instead of following the ground troopers, he ran to the stairs.
Quickly, yet carefully, Chase would ascend the latter to the top of the wall; it being no easy climb with hos high the walls were. While doing so, he would hear the sound of gunfire...from very big guns. Turrets, he assumed, though one seemed a bit different. Hastening himself, he would reach the top of the wall to see the state of things...He was right to have come up there. The student, her mech, and one soldier seemed to be all the people here at this segment of wall. Broken barricades, deep claw marks, and blood was sporadically scattered across it. 'What happened to everyone else?' He thought with worry though shrugged it off as he heard a buzzing get closer. Turning to look, he would see a Lancer diving for him! Dropping down, he just barely dodged as it flew overhead. He quickly drew his pistol and fire a couple shots though it was already long gone. Pushing himself to his feet, he would sprint to the nearest turret as he saw the others working in tandem. Seating himself, he would study the control briefly, experimenting on movement and controls to figure out how it worked. At first, he was just having it twitch around till he got the hang of the movement controls. The basics at least. Firing it was much easier though, as it was a simple trigger pull. 'Ok, if I move my feet like this...hands like this...I got it!' He thought to himself, puzzling out how to get the thing to work. Quickly, a bit too quickly, he would swivel the gun to try and aim for a lancer. Pressing the trigger a bit too early and giving it time to dodge. 'Deep breaths, you know what to expect.' He thought to himself. This time, when he swiveled, he kept control of himself and got a bead on a lancer. Bullets would riddle the thing as the turret unloaded into it; shredding its wings and sending it falling. Smiling in grim satisfaction, he would turn his attention to another. This one was a bit more wily though and flew with a group. As he tried to shoot it down, another of the group would fly for him and fired its stinger. Thinking quickly, Chase ducked down as the stinger flew inches overhead. Taking out his burial blade, he quickly severed the stinger of the Lancer as Private Jerry would riddle it with lead till it fell. Re-taking position, he would notice the student from before having a bit of trouble with another Lancer as the soldier seemed to be trying to get more people for the wall. Shifting his gun, Chase would silently give her some fire support.

___ Nox tilted her head and listened to the sound of a siren. A large grimm attack despite the festivities still going on. Normally the good feelings from an event like this would linger a day or two before fading to a level that grimm would start getting back to their normal levels of activity. That there would be a large scale attack now is odd. Suspicious in fact. Nox rose and made her way across the room to pick up her scroll and check where the attack was at via the broadcast app. She flipped open another app she put onto her scroll that allows her to access the teams activities in a combat situation and make plans. Kirien's gear pods were already activated. Nox thought to herself that the girl was on the ball for someone who usually had her head more into her experiments and robotics than the idea of fighting. Well if one of her team members was already getting stuck in then she couldn't afford to dawdle. She activated her own pod, setting it up to deliver her weapons once she got outside, before she stuffed her scroll into her pocket and hustled back across the room. First pulling open a drawer to grab a box where she store the belts that held the dust vials she kept. She put them on and then rushed for the door. Her right hand snagging her coat as she ran past. She would pull the coat on as she made her way outside knowing that they were going to be in for a long night. If her aura was depleted then that black coat made of kevlar and twaron would be the only armor left to her to hold back claw or barb, and she knew that this fight was likely to be a marathon more than a sprint so it would be less if her aura would be eventually drained and more when.
___ Nox collected her weapon and then boarded the first shuttle going towards the source of the alarms. It seemed that Kirien had rushed ahead and managed to catch one of the first wave. The one Nox was currently riding in should be part of the second. The shuttle stopped at the staging area and Nox disembarked. She took her scroll out again and checked the battle app once more. Now she could see the situation. The screen was mostly covered with red dots along the wall. The red vastly outnumbered the green ones. Though the main things she cared about was the sole blue dot on the wall. That would be Kirien. Nox would head there to join up with her. As she approached the wall she got her first real look at the scene. The map hadn't shown how dire the situation really was. The line of fighting was holding well enough that the red mass hadn't pushed into the city but the gates were just gone. Where they should of been was just a gaping hole that a small handful of flying grimm passed through though most didn't bother with such as they were circling around at the top of the wall rather than harassing the people on the ground. She ground her teeth as she watched for a couple more seconds. 'That gates have been breached. Why haven't they escalated the alarm. The condition needs to be elevated to a wall breach so that more forces will be diverted to the wall. Best done before any grimm potentially get past the front line because we are waiting for reinforcements.'
___ Turning her attention back to the wall itself Nox headed for the closest way up. The scene at the top of the wall was somehow worse than on the ground. Why was there hardly anyone up here. About half the turrets that were crew serviced weapons were silent, and the soldiers not in turrets that were fighting up here were far and few. To the point that picking out Kirien on the wall was easy. It was the most dense defense point on the wall. Two consecutive turrets firing up at the grimm instead of one and then two or even three not firing like was the case on most of the walls length that she could see. Between the two attacking turrets was a soldier and Kirien's mecha who were both adding what more lead to the sky they could. Nox sprinted forward to join in, lifting her spear and spinning it with a metallic twang as a lancer barb slammed into spinning shaft and was knocked away. Without breaking stride Nox flicked out a sweep of one of the blades to cut the line so that the lancer would not be able to reel its barb back in. As Nox reached the spot the others were fighting from a Lancer that had flown through the breached gate turned upward and flew over the wall behind the others. It failed to get the drop on them since it timing was such that Nox was standing right there. It tried to fire its barb at her. Nox swept her staff to bat the barb down and away from her body. Continuing the movement and the staffs momentum she spun Break Blade and slammed the flat of one blade into the hornet like creature then reversed the spin as she pivoted on her ankle to bring the other blade around and slash it. The cut wasn't deep thanks to the lancers exoskeleton. The blow did steal all flight control from it as it got knocked upward in a wild tumble. Nox grabbed Break Blade with both hands to aim one of the blades at the Lancer as the blade split and the tip side half folded up to reveal a hollow barrel. A blast of gun fire tore the grimm to shreds with a hail of aura bullets. The shreds promptly dusting out of existence. The shots drawing Private Jerry's attention to Nox's arrival whom promptly raised his weapon and shredded a second Lancer that had followed the first and had slipped in behind Nox while she dispatched the first one.
___Kill Cam: Dusted 1 Lancer, Pvt Jerry got one, and inflicted 7 damage while debarbing another Lancer.
Kirien was still trying to pace on the shooting as she noticed the turret was beginning to over heat before switching back to her machine's 4-finger barrels. She was namely trying to keep the creatures at bay as their speed was definitely faster than she could move. She was cursing to herself. "W-Where is everyone?! Ferra, Nox, anyone should've been here by now!" She commented while she ducked her head to avoid another attack before she noticed a another man at the turret. He seemed at first unsure on how to properly use the turret and she was about to offer him help until he turned around sharply on a dime and riddled a lancer with bullets, dusting it entirely. She looked shock, but she wasn't going to look a gift-horse in the mouth as she moved back onto the seat and began to spin around to face the foe. "Good work new guy, we got more where they came from though!" She told him as she began to shoot at another group of Lancers, seperating them as she used her left hand to begin riddling one of the flying monsters with some of her bullets. She focused solely on it before she noticed some other bullets, she didn't question it as the Lancer she focused on was riddled with Bullets.
Once she and her friend had finished killing off a Lancer, she could hear sounds of conflict just nearby, looking to Jerry who was shooting quickly from his turret as she looked over to see her team leader Nox. "You finally showed up! I was getting worried!" She cried out with joy, tears welling her eyes before she soon turned her attention to fire lead into the de-barbed lancer to apply some damage to it as quickly as she could to keep it at a distance, but her shots were missing from this creature's speed. She used GRLMD's barrels to fire warning shoots to keep the griffons and Lancer's at bay, causing one of them to fall into Jerry's line of fire and dusting from a hail of bullets. "We need more fire power up here!"
(OOC: Killed 1 with the help of Chase and Nox, Jerry killed another.)

Hermesh felt proud, seeing Ren continuing to fight even when he is obviously struggling and still managing to take out more and more Grimm, it made him smile like a father that just saw his son winning an entire game by himself, Hermesh just stood still and watched the show in front of him. He continued to watch until seeing Ren was surrounded by Beowolfs, he got a bit too reckless and got himself into a bad position. Hermesh knew this would not end well for the young boy as he rushed and jumped over one of the Beowolfs do be next to Ren “Ren! jump away, now!” he yelled at the boy as he waited for Ren to get out as he put his hands in an x form in front of his face followed by a massive roar and a big explosion, but the roar did not sound like Hermesh, it was as if something similar to a Grimm just roared out in anger. Right after the explosion happened Ren could notice the ground was burning and where 3 Beowolfs once were there was only black dust remaining and another Beowolf being blasted away to the side, in the middle Hermesh was standing with his exoskeleton starting to come out of his body “NOW… TIME TO HAVE SOME FUN!” Hermesh said with a laugh, but his voice was different. XXX[Buildup] It was difficult for her, but Calista had taken it upon herself to follow the counselor's advice. Of course, it took some additional encouragement from Eli himself for her to actually follow it to fruition. It made the girl so uneasy and anxious to go off anywhere by herself but given the circumstances in recent months where she had been alone, whether or not she was with Eli, it was time she took some steps into self-development. Fortunately, it wasn't like this for the majority of the water festival. In fact, to her delight, Calista had the opportunity to spend most of the water festival enjoying it with Eli by her side. This mostly consisted of going to the beach, especially now that she had her zero-suit that allowed her to adorn a bikini that wouldn't decay within 30 minutes of their arrival. With the exception of avoiding crowds of people and Eli being too careless with his own skin, this was one of the first times that Calista truly got to go about her day completely carefree. Enjoying the warm, golden rays of the sun as they scoured the sienna dunes that matched her own hues. To feel the cool, salty mist of cascading waves against her skin. This was also the first time that she was truly willing to let Eli take her into the water. Knowing that for once she wouldn't end up naked in the ocean waters without any way to escape certainly helped. Did that stop him from taking matters into his own hands? Never. The very first moment that water had been brought up, Eli had already barreled into the open, salty sea with the poor girl flailing in his arms. Some things would never change with her cherished spider, and just as frustrated as she got with him for it, she never wanted him to.
But, as much as it was to her dismay, the two of them had struck a deal. They'd be able to spend a majority of the water festival together, but they also had to work on what Ezekiel had suggested for them. To take some time apart, that it would do both of them good. Eli himself was naturally more adept with people and could thrive in the social circumstances to come, but that didn't stop him from over-worrying and being too protective over her. Not that it bothered her in the slightest. In fact, she cherished their every moment together. So much so that it seemed she struggled to breathe without him in her presence, and that was precisely the problem. They were always together in every degree, and while it didn't bother either of them in the slightest, it had its own negative effects on Cali in particular. While Eli had tried to get her accustomed to more social situations than she knew she was capable of, his own presence seemed to act as a natural hindrance. He enabled her, and while it wasn't inherently bad, it seemed that unless he was present, she had no capability of surviving in social circumstances. ... That was until they started following Ezekiel's development plan, of course. By taking even short, but consistent breaks from each other's presence, it was forcing Cali to naturally face her own anxieties of being away from Elias. And while she still had eons to go in progress, she herself could at the very least now walk the streets of Vale on her own. Now, did that mean she could actually start or hold a conversation with another individual? Not at all. She was as fearful, anxious, and stuttery as she always had been, and often disassociated from any sort of interaction that she possibly could.
Today, however, she pushed herself just a little farther than normal. Summer weather still lingered, even as the golden sun itself set. It was warm and frankly left the poor anxious girl parched. This meant that she'd have to not only find a shop or stand to get a beverage from but ACTUALLY talk to the shopkeep, tell them what she wanted, and pay for it. In her entire life, she had done approximately NONE of these things successfully, despite attempting to. So what did this mean? It meant literal hours of pacing the streets of Vale, passing multiple shops that were more than willing to accommodate and be patient with the poor, anxious child. Many of which she never even made it so close as to even opening the door. Others, she managed to wrap her fingers around the handle, only to be frightened off by someone either approaching behind her to enter, or someone trying to leave. Of all the attempts, she had only managed to actually speak with the shopkeep twice. The first of these two attempts led to her first initially freezing on the spot, before fumbling into a mess of stutters that were completely incoherent. After her face had gone bright pink from the number of times she messed up the word tea, she didn't hesitate to immediately remove herself from the establishment by quite literally bolting out the door when someone tapped on her shoulder. The second of which, fortune had smiled down upon her. Poor Cali was so thirsty, her mouth feeling as dry as the desert her sandy hues mimicked. Fingers trembled as they wrapped around the door handle, turning as she carefully slinked inside. Sandy hues panned back and forth, watching nervously to see if anyone was near or approaching... There was one person, a woman who stepped from behind the counter. Her heart instantly sunk as the rhythm of her heart began thumping in her chest. Why was she walking towards her? Why was she coming closer. It was then that she realized the blinking open light had clicked off. "I-I-I'm s-s-sor-ry, I-I'll g-g-go" She attempted to blurt out, but instead fumbled into a stutter as she went to slink out the way she came. In response, the woman, noticeably in her mid-forties would tilt her head confused? "What? Oh don't be ridiculous, dear, I have time for one more. Come on, come in. What are we doing tonight?" She asked kindly, humming in delight as she motioned for Cali to follow, stepping behind the counter as she made her way towards the bar. "W-w-well... I.. I wanted to.. to... get some.. t..t..tea, b..but.." Unfortunately for Cali she just couldn't shake the stutter in her words, being thrown so on the spot. What had she wanted exactly to begin with? In all the time she spent pacing and trying, she didn't even know what KIND of tea she wanted to get... It was always Eli who got it for her, it was always a surprise with a different flavor. All she could really recall was black balls at the bottom and needing extra straws because of her... Condition. "Hey, hey.. It's okay. Take a deep breath, and pace yourself. You've got plenty of time. But what?" The woman asked, a patient smile curled against her lips as she smiled down at the petite girl. Cali's own sandy hues would dart to the side as the woman met her gaze, but slowly, and hesitantly, would pan back to meet her gaze. "I.. I don't know.. what it's called.." She felt so silly, knowing fully well that Eli had likely mentioned its name a thousand times. This was one of the countless reasons she relied on him so much. Not only did she find the most comfort in his presence, but he could manage the social situations and often knew his way around words. A skill that she so desperately lacked. "It's.. iced.. I think.. it had milk... It's really sweet, and.. and.. It has these little... weird.. black balls at the bottom..." She would slowly and quietly begin to list off, describing the iced beverage that Eli often surprised her with. Surely she sounded silly, realising her words made very little sense. But, without missing a beat, the shopkeep smiled. "Well that sounds like boba to me.. How about I whip something together? If you don't like it, no charge." She had offered, to Cali's surprise. Sandy hues would blink bewildered, both confused and surprised by the woman's kind offer before slowly nodding. "O-okay.. If.. if you're s-sure.." Cali said reluctantly, not wanting to impose on the woman. But, at the same time, she didn't want to refuse her kind offer. Surely that would hurt her feelings... And even if she didn't like it, she'd lie and pay for it. Anything to bring their interaction to a close as quickly and efficiently as possible, feeling so awkward. So the woman got to work. Boiling water, boiling tapioca, brewing tea, mixing it all together with milk. It took a little time, but the woman elegantly crafted together a wonderful concoction. With a confident smile, she presented it to Cali who hesitantly took the beverage into her gloved mitts. "One jasmine green tea boba, for... I'm sorry dear, I never caught your name. Mine is Cosette." The kindly woman said with a smile, taking a poke to learn Cali's own name. "Go on, give it a sip." She urged her before she could even get Cali's name, knowing that her anxiety may be eased after her thirst was quenched. .. Especially if she liked it. With a not, Cali carefully took a quick sip, trying not to decay the straw right in front of her. Sandy hues widened in surprise, in delight. "It's sweet... It's good..." She said softly. Though her words were slow, she spoke noticeably without a stutter.
That's when the siren began to blare off in the instance and the poor girl froze in place. With every passing second, the sirens would get louder. Resonating with such intensity that rocked her very core. Sienna hues would slowly widen in horror, the horrific sound striking a particular chord in the deepest recess of her memories. She had heard a similar, ominous warning only once in her life before. It was the night that the Tribe had attacked their village, the night that their despair had drawn a horde of grimm to finish what another terrible force had started. A horrific night that she was abandoned by her family in the midst of a hellish inferno, left to die. The very same night that Eli had come back for her against all odds, the memory of which branded across their very skin in a sporadic pattern of burns. That siren sounded so quiet, so distant, in comparison to that of Vale. Was this for the Tribe, the Grimm, or some far greater danger? She knew just one thing, as her fingers clenched tightly around the frail, plastic cup. She had to make sure that Eli was okay, and she had to make sure she could get back to Beacon. Despite her, one tracked mind, she heard the shrill of a little girl who pushed her way past the closed door. "Mommy, mommy! Grimm are coming!" The frightened girl cried out, running into the open arms of her mother, the shopkeep. The sweet woman had dropped to a deal, scooping the frantic girl up to console her, hushing her with whispers in her ear. As she rose to her feet, she turned her attention to Cali. "Sweetie, hey, sweetie? Do you need a place to go? Help me pull down the shutters and we can wait this out." The woman suggested, walking to one of her windows and pulling down metal-plated shutters. Despite how quaint and sweet the shop was, it was prepared to be their last stand if needed. Without saying anything, Cali hesitantly nodded as she went to another window, helping Cosette pull another shutter down. "Isn't that right, Callie? We'll wait here until the brave huntsmen shoo that nasty grimm away." Cali heard the woman whisper to the little girl, who too happened to be named Callie. It was... Bittersweet for her. Just as the sirens had reminded her of that night, so did the exchange between mother and daughter. She was relying on the huntsmen to fend off the grimm, so that she could stay here and protect the little girl. That was how it could've been for her, how it should've been.. So then, what was she even doing with herself? Sure, Cali had only gone to Signal and Beacon with Eli because he was going, but why had he gone? What was the true reason their precious, tormented duo had gone through all that effort? ... To become huntsmen, to protect people like them, especially after Cali and Eli had no one to protect them. "Where are you going?" Cosette had asked worryingly, noticing that instead of pulling the shutter over the door, Cali had grabbed the handle. Though her being trembled, she looked back towards the woman with uncertainty in her eyes. "I-I may not be brave, but.. I'm one of those huntsmen. I-I should b-be out there, too..." Her tone held a certain sense of uncertainty, a stutter slipping between words. As nervous as she was, as anxious as she had been... She was insistent on it and knew the woman would urge her to reconsider. So, without waiting, she pushed out the door. "Wait! Before you go, what's your name?" The woman called out, poking both her and young Callie's head out the door. She wasn't going to stop Cali. Stopping in her tracks, sandy hues gazed back at the woman... Then more particularly, at the little girl in her arms. "I'm Cali, too." She said softly, a small but reassuring smile curling at her cheeks. It too had brought a smile to the woman's lips, who gently patted the girl's head. ".. See, Callie? We've already got our huntress. .. Please, be safe, and come back." She requested, to which Cali would nod and watch the two slip back into the shop. The last metal shutter had been pulled down which meant, for now, they were protected. Now she'd have to do her part, and face her own fears. "Any able body students, report this way immediately! Vale needs you!" A man had bellowed down the street, loading up a small helicopter in the middle of the plaza that the shop bordered. As much as it terrified her, Cali was ready and rushed to the aircraft. What choice did she have? [A Call to Arms] Cali didn't so much have time to prepare, but there wasn't much that she could grab in preparation. The girl couldn't wear any armor, knowing very well that her semblance would break it faster than any grimm. No. All she needed was what she presently carried on her person. Her shoes, being her weapon of choice, and a variety of dust rounds embedded in her heel. The only thing she had really done in preparation for her deployment was to replace the soles of her shoes and take off her gloves. Knowing what removing her gloves meant, the sandy-locked girl would take one last sip of her tea. It wasn't quite what Eli had gotten her before, but she liked it. In fact, she wished she had the time to enjoy it just a little more. But... Well, that just meant she'd have to go back when it was all over with. To meet Cosette again, as well as little Callie. The small shutter chopper had flown closer and higher to the wall than most of the other aircrafts. Being smaller, it was able to slip into the fray much easier than the larger shuttles that were carrying soldiers, students, and huntsmen alike. It was less of a target for the airborne grimm, but just as well, it was a much easier target than any other craft. Where the chopper had intended to land and drop off Cali, as well as any other able-bodied individual, it instead found itself dodging and swerving between Lancers. The rocking and swaying of the helicopter left Cali sick and uncertain, staring out the open shuttle down to what could've been their very death. ... If a crash hadn't killed them, then surely the horde of grimm fighting in the streets below would. While the pilot was an ace and maneuvered between through the simple-minded Lancers with finesse, there was a much more menacing beast in the skies above. Gunned down by one of the turrets, a Lancer would crumble to dust as a Griffon tore through its remains, racing towards the aircraft at remarkable speeds. It was too fast for the guns to take down, and too smart for the helicopter to outmaneuver. They needed hunter interference; they needed her.
Just like with the raging Behemoth named Felix, and the menacing snake that was a Taijitu, Cali had to rely on her heightened mobility to close the gap and make the biggest impact. Though she had spent most of her time looking after Eli, or likewise, spent that time in his care, the girl had still done her research. She still practiced her craft, knowing that she just couldn't escape it being trapped within the walls of a combat school. Back in their class with the grimm, she had refused to carry any dust on her person at the fear of her decay-causing adverse effects. That was a fear she was forced to get over, knowing that there was certain dust that could heighten her greatest strength of mobility ten-fold. Standing at the open bay doors as the wind ravaged sandstone-colored locks, Cali took in a deep breath to ready herself. She couldn't calm her nerves, but she could at least use those nerves to push her forward. She was already here, and unless she did something, they wouldn't be here much longer. Letting the breath slip from her lips, she'd duck down into a runner's crouch. the girl opened her sandy-hues to face the griffon that raced towards her, head-on. With a flash of purple at her heel, the tiny girl would be blasted forward with the force of gravity propelling her forward. In just a swift moment, Cali had closed the daunting gap between them. With it, she twisted her hips to bring her left leg around, the metallic heel connecting with the Griffon's mask. This knocked the airborne beast back in the air, pulling its attention towards Cali, it's facing now decorated with a series of cracks. Following that initial burst, multiple burst fired from her heels in rapid succession. These were not infused with dust but had the force to carry the girl through the air. The first from her right had propelled her forward towards the beast, the next from her left to launch her over the creature as it lunged towards her. As it dashed beneath her, the third burst fired from the tip of her toes, bringing her into a powerful dropkick on the creature's back, while also propelling her down towards the Wall's surface. The Griffon had been left disoriented, the strike to its back sending the creature in a downwards spiral towards the wall. Cali herself, as she freefell towards the wall, used the fourth burst from her left heel to lessen her impact. This let the girl land on the wall's surface, the impact rattling up her calves. It hurt, but not as much as a free fall would've. Upon landing, Cali began to frantically look around to just who was on the wall with her. No one she recognized, of course, but... Wait, was that... "N-Nox?!" She asked loudly, clearly surprised to see her former team leader in the fray with her. Though, Nox would likely be more surprised to see Cali out on her own without Eli, fighting for a cause. In her initial shock, Cali hadn't noticed that the Griffon regained its ability of flight. At least, not until it was too late. Catching a glimpse of the black creature, Cali managed to just barely activate her black-tinted aura. The creature came crashing down on her, pinning her to the wall's surface between its claws and the weight of its foot. The creature squawked and shrieked at her, opening its maw wide to finish the job. All the while, Cali frantically gripped the leg of the creature in hopes the decay would prompt the creature to let her go.

It was the last night of the Water Festival, yet Azura was in the library at Beacon, studying. She had joined in the water fight held by the school and went down to the carnival with Cecil. Now she diligently prepared for classes the next day. However, it would seem the forced of Grimm had other ideas for her. The Grimm raid siren filled the night. The city was under attack. Abandoning her books, Azura snagged her bag and hurried out of the library. She had a feeling her first aid kit would be needed. Soon after the scroll message came. Students were to head to the wall. Airships would be waiting for those who were at the school.
Once outside, she used her scroll to summon her weapons locker. By then Cecil had already messaged the team chat stating he was on his way. 'See you there.' She wrote back. The landing zone was teaming with students and staff as Beacon mobilized to protect the last bastion of civilization.
The airship landed somewhat away from the wall to avoid the Grimm that crowded the sky. Along with the others from the school, Azura hopped out into a battle ground. She ran towards the large hole in the wall where Grimm were pouring through. Not good. As she ran, she transformed Crimson Regret into its scythe form. In the chaos, she spotted a familiar form on the front lines, with Beowolves charging towards him. Azura quickly planted the blade of Crimson Regret in the ground and fired 3 .50 calibre rounds towards the charging beast. Shooting while in scythe form wasn't the most accurate, but at this range, it didn't matter. The large rounds punched through the creatures, and the three Beowolves quickly turned into dust. Picking up the weapon she ran over to Cecil. "Ready to kick some Grimm butt?" She asked, showing that rare spark of total confidence that only seemed to come out when they were facing Grimm.

Cecil could hear more sounds of violence as he stood his ground, a longsword in his left, and his transformed Reiterpallasch in his right, his eyes scanned them and soon two charged at him. He stepped forward, and pivoted on his left foot, ducking down as he slashed at the back leg of the the Beowulf that charged him from the front, and used it's falling body to intercept the one charging from behind him. The collision helped pile the two up for Cecil to jump up and drop down, stabbing his transformed weapon through before he flicked his arm up. He made the blade rigid as it transformed back before he thrusts the matchlock rapier down through the top Beowulf and as it howled, he brought up the longsword and with a quick swipe from right to left, beheaded the creature as he then dropped from the dusting wulf onto the next one. He sliced the other leg to keep it incapacitated while it began to try and claw it's way away from Cecil, unknowingly carrying the man. His cold eyes stared into the crowd before he tensed his body, bracing himself for the oncoming foe as a squeal of the Boarbatusk could be heard.
He leapt from the incapacitated beowulf as he brought his longsword up, and landed on the hog in a reverse cowboy mount, stabbing into the boat's hindquarters to help anchor himself as the beast went made and trampled over the body. He sheathed the reiterpallasch and reached into his backpack, pulling out a loaded handgun and began to take potshots, namely to create more room. Then he suddenly heard loud gunshots, akin to a rifle and he knew who it was, deciding not to play around anymore, he spun the handgun around for a second and brought it back behind him, unloading 7 bullets straight into the back of the boar's unprotected skull and causing it to dust while Cecil braced himself. He brought his hand from behind him as he landed on his own hindquarters, rolling backwards onto his feet as he skidded to a stop with longsword and gun in hand. "10 bullets....." He calmly stated before he charged towards the still alive, mostly dying Grimm and used his longsword to dust it by cleaving through it's skull as he charged towards an Ursa.
In the direction he was running, he was heading towards the sounds of the rifle and began to open fire on the Ursa, weakening it while it used it's arms to try and guard the hail of bullets heading towards it. The damage it sustained was minimal, but as it lowered it's arms to roar and try to launch an attack, it instead got a mouthful of.... COLD STEEL as Cecil had thrown his blade like a spear, his aura to help guide it. It staggered the Ursa as it's big arms knocked over a few Beowulves but it attempted to bite through the sword, and to try and grab Cecil who jumped and dropkicked the blade through, dusting it in a heartbeat as he kicked the longsword up and forced it to shatter into ice dust as he landed on his feet. He heard her voice as he got up, drawing back out the Reiterpallasch as the air around him was frigid for the night raid. "That depends, did you bring more Ice Dust or are we going in like mad men?" He asked her with a knowing smirk with his back towards her. As he stood there, he calmly reloaded his handgun to keep it locked and loaded as the 10 bullets in that Ursa finished off his clip.

Ren was panting heavily as he was starting to sweat, the grimm were outnumbering them all, he couldn't even tell when he saw the moon last time since he got here. His right arm was swelling inside of the gauntlet but he shook his head and grit his teeth, getting into a fighting style as he waited for Hermesh to respond. AND RESPOND HE DID as he landed next to Ren and told him to jump away, causing him to nod before he ran towards a beowulf who attempted to pounce Ren, only to pounce his after Image, allowing Ren to kick off of the creature and jump away just high enough to look back and see a large explosion occur, the sound of a grimm and yet there was nothing but the smell of brimstone and cinders as he saw Hermesh had transformed. He landed down on the ground, tucking into a roll to negate hurting his legs as he then zipped back towards Hermesh. He slipped through the net of Grimm to get back to Hermesh, and then past him as he jumped up.
"Look out!" Ren told Hermesh as one of the Beowolves cared little for the transformation display and was trying to attack, only to get it's face caved in by a more used-to-his-form Ren, launching it up into the air while Ren seemed to use the attack to bounce up and towards the Beowolf. He soon proceeded to sweep kick it, causing it to enter a spin before he thrust kicks it down towards a group of it's allies, breaking through and dusting it as it collided with it's friends. He landed on the burning ground, his aura protecting him as he wiped away a sweat and soon asked. "How long can you hold that form?" He asked of him while his right arm now drooped to the side, he couldn't risk tensing his muscles around a fractured limb but he was thankful he had his other dust at the ready. 'Where is my team..... an alarm like this, I doubt Yui is back but the Skies should've been here on the scene.' He thought as he was running out of time in his enhanced speed state.

Hermesh stood still as his exoskeleton was slowly creeping up on every inch of his body, it’s not that he couldn’t move but more if he wanted to stand and look for his next target. Once he found a Beowolf close enough he launched himself towards it, Exoskeleton now fully out as he grabbed the neck of the creature with little care of what it would do to him, knowing they couldn’t really claw at him with his Exoskeleton protecting him. Once he got enough grip he spun his Scythe in his left hand and stabbed the beast’s stomach, slowly dragging the blade downwards and once the blade was free he threw the beast to the ground and decapitated it, very quickly the headless thing was turned into dust. Hermesh smiled menacingly underneath the armor like Exoskeleton, but quickly turned around as Ren asked him for the duration of his form, but all he could do is laugh with his demonic voice “HOW LONG I CAN HOLD THIS FORM?! THIS IS WHO I AM!” he would reply with full honesty, the only thing with a duration was the voice change which did not do anything to his strength and mattered very little in a fight against Grimm. It was quite sad for him though, his favorite thing to do is to scare the living s**t out of his opponents but those creatures were simply not affected by fear in the way he wished they would. tab❞. tab𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧: # 0 0 8 posts made (+100 Villian boost) tab❞. tab𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: Vale’s wall tab❞. tab𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗬:Ren tab❞. tabOOC: Killed 1 Beowolf (30) his voice now sounds like Rhaast from League of legends. tab❞. tab𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗘:Hermesh

"Both." Azura grinned. Perhaps hanging out with Cecil, Ridley and Adam were rubbing off on her a bit. Azura was prepared, as always, even with the sudden nature of the attack. With Cecil's semblance, it only made sense to have some ice dust with her at all times. "Catch." She said, lightly tossing a large ice dust crystal towards him.
More Grimm were surging forward through the gap in the wall, compelled by the high energy of the citizens within Vale. Azura pulled the tip of her scythe blade out of the ground and held in the air ready to fight. Determination filled her as a small group of Beowolves charged forward. Fearless, she ran forward to meet them. She would protect Vale and its people. With expert skill, she swung her scythe blade, quickly catching the leader of the Beowolves in the neck and decapitating it. If the other thought this made an opening to attack her, they were deadly mistake, as Azura used the momentum to twirl around, then spin her scythe vertically to slice the next Grimm clean in half. Sensing they had made a horrible mistake, the next Beowolf charged forward. Azura hadn't stopped twirling her blade in what could only be called a dance of death though. This time her blade came down, impaling the third beowolf in the back, pinning it to the ground. She pulled the trigger on the shaft, sending a heavy calibre bulled into the last member of the pack charging for her, dusting it. The one she had pinned to the ground was struggling to get to her, but Azura quickly lifted her scythe and stabbed in the face with the back end of the handle, killing it.

Cecil holstered his now loaded handgun as he brought his right hand up, catching it in his hand as he smirked. "Good, this party's about to get crazy.... let's rock." He told her before he sheathed the reiterpallasch and pulled out another raw ice dust, his aura coating them as the grimm surrounded them both. Slowly, the aura coated the crystals, resonating them as he grunted. "Guh....nnnngh.....rrrrrrrrraaaaaagh!" He brought them both up as his aura flared up with energy, the area's temperature getting much colder. "Sacred Art: Arctic Roar!!!" He then slammed both of the raw ice dust down before him, the ground violently creating ice as a group of enemies from the front started to charge. The ice itself created a clear singular path while 4 beowulves were impaled upon the ice spikes, freezing up entirely rather than dusting apart as the ice at the end turned into a curled spike, impaling and lifting 2 boarbatusks up together and dusting them as the ice had created a wall on each side, spanning about 18 meters(60 feet) away from him going forward as the walls stood 5 meters high. At the end of the icy path was a charging Ursa while Cecil grinned. His hands were temporarily frozen to the ground due to his semblance combining with the ice dust to create such devestation.
"Azura! Frozen Reaper!" He told her as he flexed his legs up into a hand stand, aiming to help her gain air and to use the chilling ice as the air was slowing the Ursa down. This is what it meant to push his limits and with the large ice dust having created such power, there was a limit to what he could do for the moment. "Together now!" He called out to her.

Ren watched the man now in his new form slowly lose his sense of slight humanity, the air around him drastically different as he could feel his aura fading slightly. 'I'm about to run out of time...' He thought to himself while he saw Hermesh practically torture a grimm to death, his eyes showing worry before he could hear the change in his voice. The man wasn't right.... and he was relishing in the violence that was around them as he shouted that this was who he was. An armored monster with a scythe as his 0-resist aura was at the last moments. Cecil took a deep breath and focused his eyes, he could see an Ursa approaching from behind the man who was facing him. His hair raised up as he soon said. "If that's your form then beat the monsters up!" He shouted, trying to sound tough as his hair raised up and he vanished from sight. This time, he was going all in for the moment as he kicked an Ursa hard in the gut. His speed wasn't enough to break through the body, but it was enough to get him close as he used the same momentum to perform a flip kick with his right foot, catching it in it's unaware jaw as he was forced to look up. Ren landed and zipped around, performing a couple of front-flipping kicks to help kick down and climb up the beast.
As he reached the top, the beast having been knocked forward slightly and now looking up for it's meal, it's snout was kicked in as Ren used it as a stepping stool, causing the beast to back away and hold it's snout. Ren had kicked off of it, performing a backflip, several backflips before he landed a hard kick right in the skull, his foot breaking through it's skull and dusting it as it blasted through the head. Using the momentum, he landed on his feet as his aura vanished, leaving him gasping for air as his body weighed him down once more. He felt shaky but he shook his head and struggled back to his feet as he clenched his hands. "We'll fight..... together Hermesh!" He shouted at him while he knew he lost his enhanced speed, he was still faster than these grimm.
