He looked…perplexed.
“That… That’s it?” He blinked “I did…well? Just that? that was all it took to.. “ he looked lost.
“I barely did anything.” He added after a confused moment.
“… is this a test? Or… do you really just like the chicken that much?” He arched his eyebrows trying to parse what the hell just happened.

Cavansite’s stomach let out an audible rumble and she grinned, her cheeks turning just the slightest bit pink. “It is a test of patience. Can I keep holding back my hunger? I think I’m losing it. But, yes. I liked the chicken that much, and if I had wanted to make this a true fight, I could have gone on longer, but like I said…I was just hoping for a baseline. You’re not some weakling who I’ll need to take careful steps with. You’re not some greenie who needs me to hover over their shoulder. You’re solid.”

She shrugged. “And if you think I’m wrong…well, I’ll come back here and kick your a** after I’ve filled my stomach with the rest of that chicken.” The General winked and caught her lieutenant’s hand, swinging it lightly. “Come on. It’s not going to be all work. I wanted to make sure you wouldn’t die from the first senshi or knight you met and I’m pretty sure that you might now. Ta da.”

Taking him back to her office, she hurried over and took the chicken back out of the fridge, setting it on the desk and digging in.

“Cut the cupcake! You’ve sure talked it up enough.”/size]
