“Then there is no reason for us to wait any longer.” Kanika had never asked how exactly Pyrrha knew these things, when she looked at the stars all she saw were stars. When she looked at plants, all she saw was a plant. She’d never questioned it before and wasn’t about to now. If the stars were giving them the go ahead, then she would follow in their lead.
“Two out of four sounds like great odds to me!” Even if Kanika had been dropped as a child, she wouldn’t have had it any other way. If anything, Pruu was the only one she’d really care about. They hadn’t spoken much but she knew of her.
“So when do you think we should ask for the blessing?” Perhaps the stars had more to reveal.

"Precisely! We should go tonight." Pyrrha moved her hands so that she could hold both of Kanika's, an almost wild look about her. The excitement was too strong! "We shouldn't wait any longer! The stars bring good fortune from Elzira and Aisha so I know if we go tonight our prayers will be heard."
Looking about their small space made Pyrrha understand that they had a lot of work ahead of them. Kanika had already mentioned an expansion and while that really should come first she didn't really much care. It wouldn't matter until they had the babe, or babes, in their arms, right?
"Let's go right now! I'm afraid if we wait too long the moon will grow jealous and take it away from us."

“Right now?” The excitement was bubbling up inside of her, right now. Like right now, now. Kanika couldn’t believe it, so much to do still but Pyrrha was right. They did need to do it tonight. “Okay!” She gave Pyrrha’s hand a squeeze before she looking around for a bag, surely they could bring a small offering of some kind. She found what she was looking for and grabbed the bag to swing it over her head and secur it on her shoulder. She grabbed a few star looking things that she’d found on the beach and placed those inside her bag.
“I’m going to give these, ready?” Hopefully, the tree liked them enough to bless them.

Was she ready? Depending on the outcome of today her entire life would change and part of her was terrified of it. She wanted to be a mother, but there was also those lingering doubts that told her she wouldn't be any good. That her daughters would turn out strange, as off as her, and yet...that wasn't really a bad thing, was it? Kanika loved all of those things about her and with that kind of strength what did Pyrrha have to doubt?
"Just let me grab something first." Making her way towards her craft supplies, Pyrrha dug around a pile of yarn and moss to produce some truly odd pieces. They were 'flower crowns' made of seashells, kelp and something akin to vines that...somehow weren't, all at the same time. She slipped one onto her own head and handed the other to Kanika. "For luck."

Kanika watched as Pyrrha made them something she wasn’t sure what until she put it on her head and handed one to Kani. She too placed it on her head, while she didn’t think they needed any luck, well she was still going to make sure all the chances were on their side. She secured it in her braids before grabbing Pyrrha’s hand and giving her a kiss once more. She raised their hands in the air.
“To us, the stars, and our future little ones!” And with that she headed right out towards the tree. She glanced once at the stars, to see if they were looking down at them before setting her sight straight towards their destination.
