He was pleased to hear her agree to the idea he'd given about food and went about finishing up with his task.
When asked if he was done he paused to look around at what all he had left to do. "Yeah. I have two more then I'm all done Sugar." He moved quickly to gather them up and set them into the box that had space for them. With that done he brushed his hands on his pants and looked back at Masika. "Just direct me as you see fit, Sugar, I can do the heavy lifting." Now that the bolts were condensed into boxes they were a bit heavier than they were individually. He didn't want her to do any heavy lifting since she seemed a bit on the delicate side. To make sure she didn't try and pick one up he grabbed the first box and looked at her expectantly.

"Oh!" Masika exclaimed as she noticed he already had one box in his hands and ready to go. She hurriedly set down her basket and grabbed her skirts so that they weren't in her way as she made for the door. "Wha- Uh.. this way." One hand motioned for him to follow.
She led the boy over to her familiar, a large janarim named Edaj. The beast was calm and didn't move beyond a lazy glance back at who was near them.
"Just put them here on the cart behind Edaj. I can move the packs to the saddle so there is more room."

A slight smirk was given when he noticed her rush over. Ilkay had to admit that whoever was lucky enough to be with this woman would definitely be looked after. The way she was attentive and caring reminded him of a few of his exes actually. He followed her once more, this time over to her familiar. As she told him what to do he nodded his head.
"Sure thing. Have to say though, I'm surprised your lover isn't here to help you Sugar." He was fishing for information with that comment but he didn't think the innocent girl would know that.

Masika didn't get that the boy was fishing so she shook her head and colored a little in the cheeks. "I.. I don't have one." No one had ever shown her interest so she had never even been close to having one.
After a slightly embarrassing moment of fidgeting she pushed some hair behind her long ear and cleared her throat. "I uh.. once we have everything we can go get something to eat." With that she picked up her skirts again and went back inside to avoid having to look at Ilkay.

Now there was a surprise. Ilkay let both brows raise at the new information. Why on earth didn't this beautiful girl have a lover? Were the men around here stupid? Blind? He couldn't help the smirk he gave in response to her blush either.
As she made her way back inside he trailed along behind. He had other boxes to get anyways. Ilkay was thinking of other ways to make her cheeks give the adorable coloring though. Surely he could figure a few things out before their time together was over.
