How rude! He didn't just eat owls... He ate everything. His head bent down cause he was to tall for the ice cream shop. He'd be shoving a whole ice cream cone into his mouth. Before his attention was grabbed by the perky girl that helped him out before. Frowning at the weird nickname. Miss match abnormal hues directed at the much shorter girl. "Ashley is my name..." His attire pretty simple. He wore a light short sleeve button up shirt with a pleasing floral pattern. Through he kept it button up not to offend any one with his scars. Along with some plain black swim trunk. Trunks that may have looked more like hot pants on him because of how long his legs were. Clothes were really hard at his size. Along with that he wore just some normal flip flops. A real beach goer. Though due to his freakish size he looked out of place anywhere he went.
Hoping she didn't call him anymore weird names his other ice cream cones arrived. Using the spaces between his fingers ne held atleast 4 cones in each huge hand. Each cone being at least a double scoop or more. He had been saving his weekly allowances just for today. Over the past few months, things were hectic. After the fall of NTSS, there was a predicament of loss. The normally outrageously upbeat girl with the lightning dusted harpoons... Had been waiting for so long to know what was going to happen to her. The caves had been rough, but she had made it out with barely a scratch on her... The only scratches being from terrain. The dark cavern had been nothing but a short step back, until the memories of it had faded away into dust, "Swipe away the bad juju!" All that remained in the mind of the young huntress in training, were the good parts of the mission. All from playing hide and seek with a dog, to skydiving like a wildling in the air... All the way to succeeding her first mission among others. A joyous day it was to behold! Only up till now however, had another cloud of good fortune hit.
"Beep beep~! Beep beep~! Message huzzah b-beep!" Awakening to the sound of the alarm on her scroll, Tabby had been up like a frisky squirrel in the morning. Today was the day! The water festival!! This was not only such a grand day of summertime, but the young girl was excited for another reason all together. The text was there, after a notification from the headmaster, with news of a new team found for her. All excited, the gym was a rather odd pot for one to be yelling excitedly. The team leader had messaged already, giving her the location they were to meet at. the beach~!? Wonderfuls!!! Why did he mention the headmaster though in the message? Were they going to be there too!? No waaay! "Tabby must use the indoor voice! Just like mamma kityanna says!" Speaking to herself out loud, there was no time to be keeping around in the gym with all her things. She had people to meet!
"OOOWAAAAH~!" Loud and crystal clear, Tabitha had... An experience heading to the beach. After ten minutes of fighting with a faculty member, she was almost barred from being there in the first place. "IT'S NOT FAIR!!! WHY CAN'T STABBY AND JABBY COME WITH TABBY!? THEY NEED TO MEET NEW FRIENDS TOO!?" As per usual, it was about the harpoons. She was going to the beach, and she wielded weapons originating from fishing... What was the issue!? The girl had caved in and had left them behind after that wasted time arguing and snapping, only to have left with a warning on her shoulders, and a cloud of fish smelling pheromones in her trail out of the weapons room. that poor adult! Facing the acid reflex debuff from her semblance was a nightmare. Since she couldn't move from the semblance, she had the smell stick to her dress, which had left her going back and changing into a clean swimsuit. This was time wasting!!! It wasn't fair!!! The time it had taken her was an extra five minutes. She was completely and utterly late! Not a good look. Not a good look indeed. "Bad adult!! Tabby hopes you get many spankings like the horrible spicy human you are!!!" "Make awaaaaaaaaay~! Tabby has friends to meeeet~!!!!" Bustling she wanted to do, and bustling and husting she was succeeding. that woman RAN as fast as she could, hanging onto her straw hat she chose, while her small bag of beach items struggled to stay on the string. Inside was a towel, sunscreen, a fork, her sewing kit, and a lightning dust she smuggled from Stabby. Who knew what on earth that was for... Nor did she truly care. she wanted to meet her new team!!!! Her black flip flops made their hastened sound to every step, almost ready to snap at the wrong turn. Even the bright red shawly she had tied around her waist was flapping in the breeze, causing some drag. The choice of a black and white two pieced bathing suit, was the only thing that really had no color to her otherwise colorful attire (the bag she had was also bright red.)
One team member, sounded familiar! Chase was on the list, but was it mutey boy and his poochie!? The other two as a Poppy, and of course, the leader Roq. Who were they!? Both faunus!? She certainly hoped so! She just wanted a team she could huggle, smother with love, and clean for! All the loves!!! With such faith in mind, she had managed to make it, recognizing Chase right away... Or more so, his dog was the first she noticed, loyally with his master. "POOOOCHIIIIIEEEEEE!!!!!!!! MUTEY BOYO!!!!" Yay! Sure enough, it was him! The guy from the cave!!! Tabby hated male humans, but Chase was an exception. He was too silent to be a spicy boy! Trying to stop now on her run, it wasn't too hard, tiredness from all the running hitting her like a stone. She had made a clumsy stop, panting heavily. "Sorry... Sorry Tabby late... got in trouble.... By the higher power of loosers! Very mean people!! They couldn't let Tabby bring her babies! Stabby and Jabby wanted to say hi too!! Bad faculty man was like "No Tabby! Weapons on a beach is a nonon! You could stab someone!" Tabby sat there like: "Rude boyo!! Tabby will zap you with 100 spankies for not letting Tabby pass!!!! You should have seen it mutey boy!!! So much fun!!!!! Hoohoo.....hoo..... KYAAAAAH~!!!!!!" Despite the tiredness, the energy was still there somehow. The moment Tabby had laid eyes on Poppy and her wings, Tabitha was in complete high heaven. "You so BOOTIFUL!!!!! Come come!!! Are you Poppy swan lady!? Come come!!!! Please let Tabby hug you!!! PWWWWEEEASE~! Pwetty pwease!!! Tabby no bite!! Tabby swears it!! So lovely!!!! You there!!!! You must beeeeeeeeeeee-" Having been about to turn to Roq, the hyper fangirl had shrunken down to a look... As if she had swallowed a large bug. "Team leader... Is a hooman spicy boyo!?" Without saying another word, she began... Circling around Roq like that shark from the movie Jaws. Eyes squinting, her head went forward from her body, taking sniffs of the air about him. ___ The team leader of Team NSFF had followed along with their scientist since she wanted to see if all of the other girl's hype would pan out. Over the last couple months she had definitely seen enough to know that Kirien was good at what she did. Enough so that it made her skills as a weapon technician seem mediocre at best. And she wasn't a slouch at it. She wouldn't call herself good enough to make a living off it, but good enough to do some work here, there, and most importantly make repairs in the field most definitely. She hadn't expected such a rush though. If these people pressed Kirien's stall much more vigorously the table might tip over. Nox rose from the folding beach chair she had set up behind Kirien's Lab Stall. Nox lifted her arms and rose onto her toes as she stretched. The movement was much more to just bask into the rays of sunlight more than to loosen her muscles. She was wearing beachwear in the form of a black bikini with red ribbons and small golden baubles attached to the ribbon's ends (Attire Image). The pit viper was loving this excuse to wear something that allowed her to expose so much skin to the sun. Nox moved up to stand closer so she could watch Kirien work. She blinked in surprise as she recognized who the customer she was bartering with was. That was the Grimm Studies teacher and Kirien was actually teasing the guy! 'She takes no prisoners does she?' Nox thought to herself as she watched the exchange.
___ As interesting as this was there were other teammates to keep tabs on. The events on the beach were going to be kicking into full swing soon. Nox looked around for Ferra. There was a chance the crowd would overshadow the ferret girl. She was a small thing after all. But still she had to be nearby. For a moment the idea to slip away herself came to mind. Sneak off and find a nice hot patch of sand that she could curl up on and sun bathe on. Nox tilted her head back to glance skyward. Her pupils narrowed to the barest of thin black lines as her gaze crept closer to the sun under the shade of her right hand. 'When was the last time I got in a good sun bath?' She questioned to herself as the temptation grew. She dropped her gaze to the people around the stall again. '... Just a little wouldn't hurt. It's not like I would be hiding, the others could find me easy enough if they want to do something. Yes. I'll look a bit longer but if I don't spot Ferra, or she get to me in a the next few minutes then I'll go soak up some rays.'
--------- Poppy would pull the sleeve of her cardigan down, making sure it covered her whole arm, she didn't want anyone to see the scars. Her legs were mostly spared of the markings, she only had a few smaller ones. She remembered that she had been gifted a pair of sunglasses, and recalled being told a long time ago that people would wear them when the sun was too bright. Poppy looked to the sun and winced slightly, she would search around in her smaller blue backpack for them before she could see someone approaching her from her side vision. Poppy stopped what she was doing and remained calm, her heart beginning to beat much faster, "Have they found me?" she thought to herself. Poppy wouldn't act on her impulses quite yet, she was in public and had time to catch attention if they tried anything. It was when he would nervously ask where a position was on his scroll - right where they were. Poppy looked down at the scroll and then back up at the man, he had striking bright features but didn't appear to be a faunus like herself. "Oh.. you must be-" Poppy was that focussed on not panicking and the newcomer that she hadn't seen Roq marching over to them at quite the pace.
The first words that came out of his mouth weren't exactly pleasant, but Poppy assumed it was more than just him being rude, hopefully. She looked back at the man and nervously smiled, "You don't appear to be lost... anymore.." she said, a reassuring tone to her voice as she tried to break the hard ice barrier that Roq had created. Poppy would then look between Roq and Chase, they had extremely similar features, were they related? The red eyes between them were enough to cause a blaze. Upon hearing Roq's compliment, Poppy's cheeks began to flush a shade of pink as she pulled the sleeve to her cardigan down, "Me? Oh.. thank you.." she answered, flashing him a pretty cute, nervous smile.
"Oh.." Poppy said as she realised there was someone else there, a dog. She looked down at the hound and flashed a curious, but interested look. Poppy had experienced a lot of dogs when she was a slave, they always seemed to show loyalty and love - much more than humans. She couldn't help but smile at him and knelt down with her hand out, a very friendly and approachable demeanor to her as she waited to see if the hound would come to her for a pet which she would carry out if he agreed.
It wouldn't be long however, before another whirlwind arrived at the scene. Poppy watched with wide open eyes as she evidently knew who Chase was, "Mutey boyo?" she thought to herself, watching as the girl spoke and moved at a faster pace than she had ever experienced before. This individual was like nobody she had came across before, she almost was envious of the girls confidence. Then the girl turned to her, Poppy felt her body go stiff with fear at what was about to happen, but Tabby couldn't have been nicer to her. Poppy's face went an even brighter shade of pink as her new teammate asked for a hug, is this what females were supposed to do with each other? Poppy was about to open her mouth to answer but Tabby was onto sniffing Roq, what a hilarious and bizarre way to figure someone out. Poppy couldn't help but let out a smirk as she knew how uncomfortable this would make him feel. "Nice to meet you, Tabby.." she managed to get out before she observed her some more. She was evidently attracted to Roq, and honestly, Poppy couldn't help but feel weird about it. She was stood up now, and flashed a 'what the hell is happening' look towards Chase, in the hope he could explain something.

Rosa woke up with a loud "EEP" sound as she heared a gentle voice speaking to her, she very quickly opened her eyes and sat streight while looking at the girl infront of her. She appeared to be a cat faunus of some sort, Rosa turned a bit red from her own reaction "s-sure you can, i wouldn't stop someone from sitting. Sorry about my reaction I'm just not used to being alone" Rosa said looking down a bit, but then reminded herself the reason she is here by herself even though she knew peni was probably around here. Rosa snapped out of her feel if doubt and faced the stranger once more "m-my name is Rosa, its nice to meet you miss" she said trying to sound brave, but her voice was shaky and very obviously nervous.

Aeralin looked at the giant as he gobbled a whole ice cream while still having some more next to him, she noticed he was probably a bit offended by her nickname which in reply he reminded her what his name was "of course i remember your name, though if you ask me i guess gobbler fits you better than owl eater... I'm honestly surpriced in how much you can eat" she said with a smile as she placed Maha on her thighs while resting a hand on it. Some time went by and Aeralin noticed a whole stray of ice cream coming their way and it seem every single one was Ashley's. She had no idea if to be impressed or disgusted, but she sticked with being astounded for the situation. Ashley then mentioned she can't have any ice cream as he ate a whole cone, Aeralin started to laugh a bit "oh i didn't want any icecream anyways so go wild on whats left, though judging by how fast you eat them j doubt we will be sitting here for more than five minutes. Though there is something i do want to do and it would be awsome if you joined me. You see this shop over there? I am very interested to know whats inside and it would be great if you joined me, so what do you say? After your done eating shall we go pay a visit?" The petite young woman would smile, glad to have her teammates coming over to join her. With so much positive energies from everyone, it was hard Not to be in a good mood. It confused her when she saw the red on Henryk's face, but decided not to comment since it disappeared after a couple seconds. A soft giggle would escape her as their enthusiastic leader would loudly claim their spot for their team. His question brought up a good point to ponder though."Good question...Hm, I wouldn't mind spendin' time in the waters personally,"she replied, looking at the ocean as her Southern twang kind of slipped out; showing just how comfortable she was getting with her teammates.

Now, this little Mistral girl was not going to let a little thing like the Ocean scare her...after all, she was supposed to be brave. ¨Is my staring truly an issue? I like to fully analyze my...~ Food. I mean, appreciate the looks of a woman. Is that so bad?"He questioned rhetorically. He knew she was teasing and even if it was that rare chance she was not, he was fine making her mad by staring. It been a while since he actually got an off day so fact Autrox did not make him work security for this festival he was going to take advantage of it. With his hoodie unzipped so the sun could kiss his skin and wearing black and red sweatpants, he looked a little unprepared for the beach. He had swim trunks underneath but to Hades it was about being comfortable and the style over convenience. How long would the sweatpants stay on? Depends how evil the sun wants to be.
A smirk would play as she talked about her assets. ¨Who knows. I could be distracted by many. Besides, I would not be distracted forever. You may get a couple lucky points. Though, we may need actually socialize to get some more players. Rayyven had gotten used to putting on a happy face although it felt like her heart was going to explode out of her chest everytime she was around people, especially crowds.
Rayyven grabbed a book out of the bag she carried before setting it onto her lap, scanning the beach nervously as she watched the other people. She felt exposed, and uncomfortable but she figured that she should at least attend the festival. ↠

The rod planting, umbrella, and cooler all made it seemed like they had truly staked their own claim on the beach. "That's the spirit Remus!" The energetic goat would proudly exclaim. Remus was usually more serious, well everyone was, than Henryk so it was nice to see him go along at least a little bit. Being told to flip a coin, it was like a light bulb appeared over Henryks head. "That is a great idea!" Henryk said to the idea of flipping a coin to decide...but soon paused with and seemed confused/ concentrating. "Though a coin only has two sides...so if our options are water guns, ice cream or in the water...what means what and what gets left out." He said a bit quietly, trying to figure out how to do the odds. He was only so focused because he wanted to make sure his team and himself had the best free day ever as the leader. But so far, at least, everyone seemed happy. Ella and Chloris especially so. While Remus said no face pain, Chloris seemed to be leaning to going into the waters. Not helping him much with the coin flip, but at least people were being vocal on what they wanted to do. Henryk got distracted from his thoughts though as Ella emptied her bags...and a bunch of books came out! He was about to loudly exclaim something but Ella would then compliment Chloris. Making him remember how Chloris looked and pretty effectively making Henryk remember why he wanted to speak up. Which also made Henryk think/ notice Ella's own attire as Chloris responded about her looking cute and him and Remus looking handsome. Henryk's immature brain froze, not quite sure how to process or react save with a blush that crossed his face.
The poor horned faunus would remained stunned until Ella changed subject to a water gun fight, mercifully, causing Henryk to reboot with a grin on his face. An almost bring it on look in his eyes at the thought of going against a water bender. It would be loads of fun, that was for sure. She would say he was no longer lost with a reassuring tone and smile, Chase being skeptical but..relaxing ever so slightly. Enough to remember to take a breath since he had been inadvertently holding it. He would smile slightly to her in return, and as she looked between him and Roq. Chase let his mind wander a little. 'If he knows me and I am not lost...he must be Roq and she is Poppy. Of course I run into the two I do not know before Tabby.' He thought to himself with a silent sigh.
Chase would find his attention back to the man of steel, his current nickname given the intensity he felt from him..but the man seemed much more cowed as he complimented the maiden in white. It was....a very strange shift from how he was seconds ago, as Chase noticed he could not look to the maiden like he did with Chase. 'People are confusing.' Chase thought to himself, including himself with that. After the maiden said thanks, she seemed to finally take note of Chase's hound. The hound had remained silent through most of this, though had been keeping its eyes on Roq in particular after seeing how it made his master feel. As Poppy tried to approach it in a friendly manner, seeming to offer to pet it. Chase would make a symbol with his hand, signalling to it that these people were ok for now. Given the signal, the hound would let poppy pet it and pant happily.
And then...the slight peace was shattered. Upon hearing a familiar voice yell poochie and mutey boyo...Chase eyes would visibly widen for a moment in surprise before oddly...relaxing a little. 'Tabby.' He thought to himself silently, instantly recognizing the girl without even having to look. She would come to a clumsy stop besides them, panting heavily, as Chase looked at her now...and immediately felt his heart rate spike up. Blushing slightly, his eyes would go to her face and slightly above her. Not daring to look any lower given her outfit. While certainly attractive...it would be very improper to look any lower than her face. But with how Tabby was, and Chase with his social awkwardness...it was still hard to look there too. Tabby would apologize for being late, saying it was due to a faculty member saying she shouldn't take her harpoons with her (as he recognized the names). Her mentioning spanks, he should've seen it, and so much fun...Chase could only sigh and smile ruefully at the poor person who had to tell her no weapons. He found it partially strange, but then given his own circumstances he was a special case for why he was able to bring one weapon. And despite her panting, her energy seemed to have barely dissipated. He was thinking of responding to everyone but Tabby was already on again, finding a new target in the form of poppy. Tabby would unleash her barrage of compliments and desire for a hug, poppy seeming unsure how to react as she blushed, save to say it was nice to meet her too. And then...she was onto Roq, her excitement and enthusiasm much much less than for poppy.
He had forgotten how she could get with non-faunus, given she treated him almost like one. As the maiden in white gave him a look, he could only nervously lift his hands in a 'I have no clue' gesture. There was no explaining Tabby for how she was. She was just...Tabby. Working up the courage after all this, still making sure not to look any lower than Tabby's face, Chase would speak. "Thank you...my name...is Chase. You must be...Poppy...and You...Roq...And of course Tabby. N-nice to meet you...all." He would say slowly with a formal bow after taking a few steps back, nervousness and shyness very evident in his own voice. Despite being the tallest, he very much seemed like he preferred no attention to himself. Now that they were all here...he was not sure what they were going to do. Or were supposed to do. He assumed since they were to meet here it was to be on the beach but...he really did not know. Nor did he really want to make a suggestion. Content just to fade a bit to background now that his own introduction was formally made.
Rosa was relief seeing how Rayven reacted, she seemed very nice and in the same awkward feeling as herself "I... I like your name, its cute" Rosa mentioned as she noticed Rayven taking out a book, Rosa was happy about it, she can maybe find something in common with her "what are you reading over there? I love books aswell, t-though usualy im writing stories more than reading... B-but of course i enjoy reading!" Rosa said still being a bit nervous, atleast she knew Rayven also feels the same.

Five minutes? Hold my beer. Is the expression he gave her before glancing at the shop she talked about. Devouring another cone whole. The cone's crispy shell could be heard crunching away. Hues directed at said shop, he didn't really understand why she wanted to go over there. It had no food. But its not like he was ever asked by anyone to accompany them, without being forced. So the opportunity itself made him happy. Even if he wasn't sure why. "Ashley will go over there with you. give me a sec." One by one he'd pop them back, cone by cone. Like a finger food each cone was devoured. A mouth full of ice cream his second order of another four cones came. "We can leave now. all of Ashley's ice cream came.." It turns out the Giant was just waiting on more ice cream.

She looked down at the book in her lap. It was an old tattered book, the pages yellowed and curled with age. “It’s Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.” She looked at Rosa. “I found it while I was out on my own.” Rayyven’s voice had a calmer and fluid tone, getting rid of any sense of anxiety in her voice. Rayyven preferred the company of books, she loved having the ability to escape from her life for a while and live through someone else’s. ↠
