"A constellation.... I'm literally from the stars?" he asked breathlessly, surprised. His eyes shined with—well, wonder. "That's... that's so cool." He cleared his throat. "That's just... Amazing. I... wow. I wouldn't believe it, if I didn't magically change outfits so easily and throw quills out of my hand like I'm Spiderman. But only sometimes, it's more of an open-handed thrust to really make it work, but the Spiderman hand flick is pretty cool." Then he paused. "Wait, GO THERE?" he asked, way too loudly. stari_maga sorry this is over a month late dfkgjh

"Well, maybe not the entire constellation? I don't know as much about how the worlds of senshi work compared to our knight wonders," she said quickly, not wanting to accidentally oversell. She wasn't sure how you could have a world in a constellation that was mostly empty space, after all. "But that's the only Monoceros I know about. Either way, there's a world for you out there, somewhere in the stars. It's where your magic comes from." Her smile was softer, more careful, but it hadn't faded. "And yes, you can go visit it. That's part of all this magic." She glanced upwards, taking a peek at the night sky. "My favorite part of all this magic, if we're being honest."

He nodded, rubbing his chin in thought as he glanced up, wondering where up there he belonged to. "I need to figure that out," he said softly, "Being in space sounds... I mean, visiting a whole new place, off this planet, that nobody's ever been to? It sounds wild."

"Wild's a good word for it," Pendour agreed. "Some of the worlds are more intense than others, but I find them all interesting and lovely." She even had a soft spot for the ones full of bones, or the odd empty medical centers. She paused for a moment, squinting upwards. "I'm not exactly sure how it works for you senshi to go up there, though. It's something with the phones, I think, but, um, you'll have to ask the Mauvians, maybe." She just had to say her oath, but that seemed like a distinctly knight thing to do.

"I'll do that, next time I talk to one," he said quietly. "I hang out with Namielle a bit, though we do, uh. Cooking stuff. For her blog. I like to cook and bake, so." He shrugged sheepishly, smiling. "Thanks. I just hope... I have the courage to up there someday. And uh, thanks for hanging out with me a bit, here." stari_maga could wrap up in a reply or two?

"Oh, if you already know someone to ask, then that's perfect," she said, soft smile growing across her face. "Space is something I love, so let me know if you have any questions about it, later." She glanced at the tree he'd been using for target practice, still not quite sure how she felt about all that, but at least willing to be polite. "Good luck with your, um, training, for now," she said. "I'm glad I got to hang out with you for a little, too." Still smiling, she turned to continue through the park. genovianprince Sounds good! This can be fin for me!

"Thank you; I will," he said waving goodbye at her as she walked away. Okay. Cook. She was really nice. It seemed like everyone he'd met so far was nice. That made him feel better about finding help when he needed it. Turning back to the tree, he decided to turn in for the night. Pendour coming along and distracting him made him suddenly feel the aches he'd given himself from pushing too hard.
