"Eheh, no I actually find it hard to be awkward around you, it is a nice change." He buried his face into her neck and inhaled. His parents were going to be so happy that he had found someone so beautiful. For the first time in forever he felt at home. She was his anchor, his reason for working hard. He wanted to make her proud and to spend quality time with her. She made him feel things so strong they felt like butterflies flying around his middle.

"Blacksmithing, I'm surprised you like to be in the forge for any length of time. But if your cuteness is any measure you can take the heat." he winked at her. He was goofy and he owned it.

"Yes, you do." He would protect her from storms and she would stomp out whoever teased him. He was more than good with that. "I trust you can handle most of the boys who flirt with you, but if you need help ever I'm here." If she ever used that he would pound the perp.

She was a free spirit though, his free spirit. He bet she would look terrifying with a club too. He chuckled.

He adored it when she kissed his feelers it made the hair on the back of his neck stand up.

He had never been this happy it felt like his heart was a paper lantern filling with fire and heat to the point where it expanded and became light and easy to carry.

She felt so right tucked into the curve of his large body. Heaven help anyone who ever messed with her. Rydan would show them just how much of the alkidike warrior resided within him. Rawr.

For now he never wanted to move again.
