Buzzi had absolutely no idea what was going on, but if Nix seemed alright with it, then he would trust this cute but suspicious looking cat. Then again, after meeting Arthur, this cat was probably the most polite cat around. Whatever he was doing, Buzzi felt it! A tug on his chest, on what he would assume was his very soul, but not unpleasant in the least! It was invigorating! He felt powerful, more so than before! And once the pen was transformed, he felt it calling to him. "Yeah, sure! I got this!" He swiped up the pen, powering down, then got into his proper super hero pose. "Alright! BUZZI ASTEROID POWER, MAKE UP!" BOOM! A series of weird fly-like twitches, and buzzing sounds were heard, then wham! There he was, all decked out in new duds and looking quite.. Fly. "Whaaaat?! This is AWESOME!! Dude, look at this coat! Look at these googles! Wait, where's my pants?!"

Liryn had looked on in private satisfaction as the gentle warmth of a senshi's aura had become replaced by the warmth of a super senshi's aura.
Much better.
And whilst it wasn't as strong as the blaze that was Nix's aura, it was far stronger than the gentle candle flame that he associated with the auras of basic senshi.
There were similarities between Buzzi's old and new outfit - the gossamer-looking bow, the fly wings brooch and the fluff at collar and on his feet - and there were differences just as there had been with the henshin pen that he had nudged over.
Purplish eyes looked up at Buzzi's query about his pants, although Liryn didn't have an answer for it other than that was the form in which the magic had decided to take.

Nix had happened to not witness an upgrade other than his own before, so it was quite the experience. And...though Buzzi's new outfit certainly was related to the past one, he was still surprised by the change. "Hey, no pants club!" he declared in reply and held up a hand for a high five, grinning. "It's a fun place to be, trust me!" He kind of envied that coat, though, as his eyes took them in properly.

“But I like my pants!” Buzzi whined while giving a little pose, trying to see his own rear. He’d admit it though, he looked good. And then he grinned wide, taking Nix’s hand and pulling him in closer with a spin. “Hey, we match! Then that means even the stars admit that we’re a match made in... Uh... The swamp I guess. Frogs, flies, you get it. Hehehe....” He half hugged his Nix to himself, proud to be stronger, and even more proud that he was well on his way to being as powerful as his partner! “Thank you, Liryn! I never expected to be suddenly more powerful tonight! Maybe it’s destiny then, to find this monster!”

"You're welcome" Liryn said cheerfully, "Although you don't really need to thank me" because Buzzi had been ready - so much so for it to be distracting.
Well at least it had been distracting for him.
The upgrade distraction had been handled now, however, which meant that Liryn could turn his attention back to other things–
Such as the aquatic 'monster' that was supposedly hanging out around the reservoir that had brought him out here in the first place.
He gave Buzzi a feline grin in answer to the new Super's comment about it being destiny that they find the monster, his amused purplish eyes shifting to also take in Nix as well as he asked "So do either of you have any ideas on where we should start looking?"Kapoodles Apologies for the delay, work has been pretty busy lately as we get closer to the exam results weeks

Nix laughed and said, "A perfect match!" before he twirled the two of them around as they pulled in close, perhaps taking advantage of his still quite present power advantage to swing Buzzi around easily, coming to a stop just before he ended up dizzy. "Well," he said, propping an elbow up on Buzzi's shoulder, "It's supposed to be some kind of Nessie kind of thing, right? Maybe we should find a boat...or just go for a swim. I wouldn't mind swimming, but," he turned his head to Buzzi, then down to Liryn, "Fur coats and collars might not, I guess."

Buzzi didn't mind the slight manhandling in the least, only grinning and stopping when Nix did, then putting his hand on his own chin, squinting his eyes to best see what was going on in the dark. Honestly, his night vision wasn't anything nearly as amazing as a cat's was, but hey, he was trying! "I think a boat might be best. Be try, row out there, atleast have a point of reference if we get toppled over by the big bad creature... Can you swim, Liryn?"

The look on Liryn's face was perhaps telling, the grin from earlier fading away at the dreaded 's-word'–
Swimming.
Ugh.
No he and water did not go together very well - especially not when he was in this form.
He tilted his head up at Buzzi's question, ears flicking slightly as he admitted "I can if I must. My vote is for the boat too though."
Although, the situation wasn't at that point yet - well at least Liryn didn't consider it at the point. The boat however, he could handle - even if it meant that his fur was still at risk at getting wet.Tolin Kalin Apologies for this taking me so long
