Pot calling the kettle black, maybe? Lepus would always stick to her belief that her own stubbornness was a good thing, though.
At the idea of Athalia not falling for her tricks twice, Lepus couldn't help but scoff at the very concept that someone wouldn't fall for her magic over and over again. As if! Lepus was pretty certain that she’d be able to trick him again and again, because surely her magic was infallible like that. Still, he seemed to have gotten the message of her unspoken desire for a rematch, and thus, she nodded in affirmation.
“We will meet again for certain!” she told Athalia, “Our chance encounter was predetermined by fate.”
With a dramatic (chuuni) pose for emphasis, and a turn of the heel, Lepus was about to make her exit, to head for greener pastures, or just to look for more trouble to get herself into. However, she paused before she could fully commit to the act, and turned back towards Athalia one last time.
"I must depart now, but soon, on a night like this, our paths will cross once more! Until then, remember that the one who defeated you was none other than the great Lepus, the Chibi Senshi of Rabbits!"
And with that, she was off once more, without bothering to learn Athalia's name. Eh, he could tell her next time, right?
