Cambria smiled at Soleiyu and laughed softly, beginning to eat, looking far more amused than she would have thought she’d be at such a situation. He loved her, and wanted what was best for her…and she supposed that was really nice. And so many people loved her so she supposed that she was really quite lucky.
“I’ll see what I can do about Zac kicking you out at night, but I can’t make any promises on that. Sometimes he likes to wake me up with things that a kitty like you shouldn’t have to be around for and…I think that’s why he does it. It’s nothing personal, I promise.”
She grinned at that, continuing to eat her food. “But, I do like when I get to be in bed with the both of you. Hearing you purring is one of the most calming things in the world, and I appreciate you. And truly, thank you for dinner. You’re an amazing friend and I wouldn’t ever want to be without you in my life again.”
Especially when he cooked her such great food. He must have been getting tips from Evan.

Soleiyu hummed, like the answer wasn't quite good enough but he knew that he had no choice but to accept it anyway. "We're having a nice dinner and you have to bring up his obscene bed practices," he muttered, but he couldn't really be mad at her after she'd said such a nice thing about his purring.
"Now that I'm here, I won't be going anywhere, Cambria. You won't have to worry about being without me. Nothing will keep me from you. I'm going to protect you and help you make the right decisions, and chase away Zac whenever I've had enough of him. Since you won't put him in his place."
He huffed again, but it was at least teasing, this time.
They had a good meal to enjoy. He wasn't going to spoil it with Zac's name.
