For emphasis, he held up his arm and gave it a little wiggle. Not quite noodle like, but certainly no real muscles, nothing like Rakovanite.
Fettelite mocked her, poking the sand with a foot and then summoning his weapon to his hand to use it as a pretty useless shovel.
Nah, nothin.
"Sometimes, people are just bad luck. They cause bad things to happen to people around them, or to themselves. And they are better off alone, so they don't cause bad luck to spread. But I think even despite that, you're right. Everyone deserves a happy ending! If you're bad luck, then you gotta find someone with really good luck, so you can balance each other out! I think that's what he is to me. My counter part! My counterweight to actually make me useful for more than adventuring."

"Storms don't last forever," Adorea smiled as his own attempts to find something, anything, that might be useful to them. "If you're the thundercloud, then someone out there is your rainbow," she added. She firmly believed this, whether this was naive or not was largely irrelevant in her eyes. No one deserved to be left alone to rot, isolated from affection simply because they thought they didn't deserve it.
...Short of being truly horrific as a person, she didn't believe anyone deserved to be left in isolation. Given that Fettel wasn't one of those people, she was glad that he had found his counterpart. Admittedly if she happened to run in to anyone who had exceedingly bad luck and hid away from others because of it, she'd simply have to work with them to realign themselves.
There was always a way to realign and fix things, they just had to find it!
"You know I don't think we're going to find anything here," she said finally and wrinkled her nose. "Especially not any attractive guys," she added with a wry smile. "Maybe I need to go back and ask some more about how this all works in case I did it wrong," she finished. Given this was her first time there was every possibility she had missed something and maybe somewhere out there they'd find something more intriguing on another day... She just needed to work out how she was supposed to find it.
"Once I get directions maybe we'll find something cool like treasure." She held out her hand and took a deep breath. "Do you wanna keep exploring or should be head back while I do more research?"
