2.) The IceQuote: Option 2: He nods, scratching something on his list, before offering you a ranunculus bloom, the colors of an autumn sunset, the edges of it seemingly scorched by flames. You take it, and immediately your hands feel as if they are being burned by fire. The touch of it feels hotter and hotter, and yet you do not burn, your flesh does not sear, and you cannot drop it.. The man seems unconcerned, and ushers you inside those doors. It’s clear that to the right are a bunch of other shadowy figures, all with the same reddish flower as you. The guests here seem to not mind your presence, and there’s a seat right at the end of the last row for you. You take your seat, then the burning sensation in your hands dull down into the cool feeling of being doused in water. Those bells begin to ring again, and soon enough, all heads turn towards the doors behind you. As Bryia had picked Flame he decided covering their bases was best. "I'll choose Ice then." Seemed appropriate with all the snow and glittering chill that had been around them up to this point. Despite the choice, he was given a firely flower which reminded him of tiger lilies. The moment he held it, he felt the rush if head up his palm and racing up his arm. It should have been painful and his body tried to reject it out of instinct, but his grip wouldn't, couldn't loosen. The heat increased but as he clenched his teeth, it didn't hurt. It was as if he had a severe fever. Distracted, he was ushered to seating on the opposite section of Bryia and he waved to her to assure her he was there and close by. Tense, he sat down and the heat rushed away making him feel cold and flushed from the changing extremes. Quote: When the bells began to ring before, it was short and brief, loud enough to echo throughout the land as a sign and a summoned. Now they ring lightly, a happy cheery sound that announced the coming of the couple. Somehow you now know exactly why you are here. It pops into your mind like you’ve known this for months that you had an invite. The joining of the fire and the ice, the marriage of two spirits who had been fluttering around with their romance and their teasing for nearly a millennium. A story long told about how dearly they loved one another but could never be with one another. They were far too different, too likely to hurt one another. And yet through everything they made their love work, and decided to share that love with all who could hear their sweet summons with a bell ring. The Flower you once held suddenly rises from your cupped hands and joins all the others that reach high above your heads, joining in a dance of swirls and dips before coming together in a single giant flower, then bursts into a rain of petals. The moment the petals rain down upon the guest, the doors come open, and two bright lights, one a bluish white, another an orangish red, float in slowly. They dance around one another, entranced, as if any other glimmer or soul in the room never existed. And you feel that. You feel the love and the warmth and sweetness all wrapped up into one. No matter who you are, what side of the War you find yourself on, in this moment, a pure, kind, and genuine happiness comes over you. Eventually the light comes to the front of this cathedral, twisting around until two beings come forth from the light. Draped in beautiful robes and gleaming gems, they come forth, speaking in a language that no one can really understand, not even the other guests. One thing is for certain though, they are happy. And you can feel that as well. Even the Officiator who allowed you in can be seen smiling and enjoying the playful words between the couple. And you… You can’t help but feel moved. You… 1.) Enjoy the wedding and scoop up more flower petals, adding them to endless shower of them. He had never been to a wedding and he watched a ceremony he didn't understand but felt glad for them. Glad for a couple who despite adversity had worked. They fought for the love and through pain.
And he was green. Deeply envious of how two beings could be rejoiced for something that worked. That they had attained and everything was sweet and warm.
He picked up petals from his lap and brushed off his hair, mingled red and white flower petals in his palms, and blew them out of his hands.
And here he couldn't even keep a boyfriend.
Since the ceremony was now freed, he moved over to Bryia once more. "Seems we came to a wedding."

1.) Enjoy the wedding and scoop up more flower petals, adding them to endless shower of them. How does a fire spirit and ice spirit marry? Are all their children "hot ice?" The whole idea of spirits getting married was confusing but at the same time, nothing the last few weeks had been anything but normal. Attacked by monsters, sucked into an endless freezing ocean through the sidewalk, and then learning she has magic powers, which sadly comes with a skirt way too short to hide anything. Out of all these events this one seemed.... pleasant at least. Looking over at Arthur he seemed lost in thought, or maybe he was just bored she couldn't tell. She joined in, tossing flowers as others were doing. It wasn't long before Arthur joined her again. "It seems we did." Once again she was lost in what she felt was an awkward silence. "Anything on your mind? You seemed a little out of it in there? Or were you just bored?"

His ears twitched at the question. "Not really. Just - never been to a wedding before so it got me thinking about me being single. Kinda soured my mood." He confessed and brushed it aside with a little wave of his hand.
"Just love life stuff."
He went to look around and see that the people were getting up and moving about. Well, could he even call them people. The shadowy figures were various shapes and sizes and without their flowers, were now mingling with each other and moving about the cathedral.
"Wanna see if they have any post celebrations?" He asked.

Bryia felt a rumble in the weapon of mass destruction that was her tummy. She wasn't sure if it meant it was empty or fully loaded and ready to go off any moment. She was hoping it wasn't the later, but one look at the food and she instantly knew it wasn't. It looked so good she had to wipe a little drool off her mouth. "Let's start with the buffet." Tables were filled with all kinds of foods both things she knew and things she didn't. Nothing would stop her though, as long as it didn't look like it came from the water she ate it. I hope all my trips out with Arthur has this much great food, a girl could get used to this. It wasn't until she had eaten so much she couldn't take another bite that she thought it would be a good idea to find Arthur again.

He moved with Bryia through the guests and they found an elaborate arrange of foods both of which he knew and others he doubted were attainable at home. There was some concern with eating food from spirits as he was not a spirit or a shadowy creature. However, he still felt he was as magical a creature as anything else and was far too curious to not try. Considering they had been welcomed guests, he felt they wouldn't be malicious to them.
The foods was strange in how it was arranged. Like the flowers, the table clothes went from snow white to fire red. There were cold foods that chilled all the way down and others that melted like snow in your mouth. The warmer side has a heat that warmed your emtire body as if embarrassed for a long time and others that were spicy and had him going back to the colder end of the spectrum save his burning throat. Eating both types had a odd conflict that confused his mouth but left him at least not beat up from the extremes.
Sedated on the food, he approached Bryia and smiled. "The group is going to dance. Would you like to go for a spin or should we head back the way we came?" He asked.
"I should point out I am a terrible dancer though. Never been to a dance." But he would try if she wanted. "We should at least take some pictures for ourselves. The dress is far too nice for you not to take advantage of the decor and lighting to your advantage. You look dazzling."

Despite her smile, she rolled her eyes. Arthur really knew how to lay it on thick when he wanted to. She did want to dance, she hadn't done that in a long time but just as she was about to stand the slightest crinkle sound seem to erupt within her ears. She was sure no one else would have heard it, but she did. A constant reminder, she had been gone so long and without any major issues to deal with. She wanted to dance, but that wanted was overshadowed by the possible consequences of such an action. "As much fun as that sounds..." She paused her a moment. "I think it's best if I pass. Little too much motion of the ocean can cause a mudslide." Which was the last thing she wanted to do in a place of spirits. "But don't let me stop you, go have fun. Got to get out of your litter box now and then am I right?" she said with a playful wink.

He shook his head. "I'd hardly enjoy it. As interesting as these shadowy spirits are, they unsettling me just a bit. I don't think I'd enjoy dancing with them as much. Let's head back and talk a while. It's getting late after all." He said, and offered his hand to her.
"Shall we go?" He asked, wondering if she needed a break or if she would be okay with heading out now. The wedding was over and they made good use of the edible delights. He had no idea how the night would end and he was a bit concerned that if they stayed too long, they might be stuck in the land of spirits. That wouldn't be helpful for either of them.
"You can tell me a bit more about yourself."

As she stood to leave the newlywed couple approached. The couple seemed to bow, almost thanking them for coming. Unsure what she was supposed to do she bowed as well before heading to the exit. Bryia waiting until they were outside before she spoke. "What's to tell about me? I have the distinction of crapping my pants on a daily basis." Pausing for a moment to sigh. "Lucky me."

Bowing, he followed alongside her, watching her as they walked. "That is a obstacle in your life, but that isn't you. There is more to you than just that. You fixate on that a lot. My owner before I awakened and dear friend after had a similar issue but it never defined her." He said, moving along and hearing the party become fainter behind them.
"How long, if I can ask?"

"I guess it's been three or four months, ever since the car accident." She had to think for a moment on that one, she hadn't really stopped to think how much time had past. "I don't know if you've noticed but I'm rather straight forward about... well everything." While she was starting to get a little aggravated by his statement she reminded herself that he wasn't trying to annoy her, or at least she didn't think so. "It's not a matter of fixating on it, it's the matter that everything I do is affected by it. People might think or say, "you can lead a normal life," but it's something you have to think about constantly." Her mind drifted for a few moments, how much did she want to say? Would he think her crazy? "Then you have... karma or something against me." Without an example, she knew she's sound crazy. "For example, you awaken my Senshi magic or whatever but now I have a magic diaper on when I transform. How many other Senshi have that happen to them?" She turned to look at him as they walked. "You have no idea what it's like for people not to see you as a..." Her sentence died in her throat, it had come on so quickly she hadn't thought it out before speaking. "Nevermind." She let out a long sigh, maybe she was saying too much and should stop. Though talking to him was different then Selene. "I have more examples but I think you get the idea. What I want is to find something else to focus on now that everything I use to have is gone."

"Not human. I think I can understand that to some degree."
"I am only one guardian. There are many senshi. Just because I haven't awakened a senshi with your particular uniform doesn't mean it doesn't exist elsewhere. I did not place that uniform or dictate it's design. I have no control over any of those decisions. I just pull from the thread of magic connecting your starseed to your celestial body. But -"
He looked on ahead thinking about it. "Your magic is just creating a uniform you can work in. Without it, you would have a much harder time."
He was quiet a moment. "As for being human. This may not seem similar. I cannot fully imagine your pain or your struggle and only hope to be there for you. But - I do know what it is like to be seen as lesser than normal people. I'm a man only for limited hours in the day. Other times, I look like a cat. Because I did not know what I was for years, I have those habits I fall back onto. I'm basically useless in a fight and am more a tool for senshi. But the real thorn is that most don't see me as a person but a cute animal. A pet. Something owned. Even when Mauvians bond with a senshi, the relationship has a air of pet and master."
"The very thought of me wanting a relationship makes them uncomfortable. That it's crossing a species line. That I am a beast. My kind can make technology surpassing that of modern technology and yet it's considered as if we are lesser by looking like an animal. Not as equals in intellegence."
"I am used to being touched without permission even after the person knows what I am, but there are times I feel like I want to scream. It is why I often dress as a human, cover myself to hide my ears and tail, and hope for even a little while to be seen as equal to everyone else. Maybe even wanted as a man and not as a animal. But even then, hiding my ears is hard because then I can't hear. I have to have them out most times and it gets attention. That I'm an odd eccentric."
He breathed out as he walked with her. "It is only Fate that you are a senshi because your soul reincarnated again from your ancestor. I don't believe in karma. That would mean you deserved to be in an accident and that people I care about will die for some justified reason. That young people did something to deserve harm. I do not believe you deserved that. That anyone does."

Open mouth, insert foot. Was all she could think of at this moment. She had known what she said might cause his reaction, that's why she had attempted to stop mid-sentence but clearly the statement wasn't lost on it. It might be hard to spend a chunk of your life as a cat but still, it's not the same. At least he got to spend his time not as a human as a cute cat, she couldn't do anything to avoid what people thought of her. Is that fair though? She wondered She may have been walking physically but mentally she stopped dead in her tracks. Am I just looking for an reasons to say I have it worse? The thought rolled in her head, she knew his problems weren't the same and not as mad in a lot of ways. That didn't mean it didn't affect him as it did her. "Well if it makes you feel any better, I don't think of you as a pet." She saw him as many things but a pet wasn't one of them. Oh no, am I going soft? "You're like that annoying friend that knows a lot of stuff but might just be a little too nerdy to be seen with." She stuck her and on his as was done when they were walking to the wedding, showing she wasn't being completely serious. "Maybe"

He smiled at her. "And if it makes you feel any better, you are a pleasure to talk to and I think a beautiful young woman. Then again, I might be a bit bias to senshi I personally awaken." He said with a smile.
"Well, for a day we were supposed to be training, this has turned into a bit of a field trip for the both of us. Guess there were no teachers today. We'll have to reschedule that training session some other time and hope we don't fall upon another wedding. If so, I do want to be a groomsmen at the very least." He said, joking lightly with her as they walked.

"Well, I would like to learn what magical powers I have. I figure it has to be more than just skimpy outfits." It was then Bryia noticed they have arrived back at the arch for which this had all started. Without seeing any reason to stop she went through the arch. This time however she suddenly found herself falling into an all-encompassing blizzard. The snow is so thick she can't see her nose in front of her face. Slowly the snow seemed to block out the light, deeper and deeper until darkness took her. The taste of wet snow in the mouth caused her to come to. Suddenly she was right back where everything began. When she turned back the arch was gone as if it had never been. It was then she remembered about Arthur...

Arthur was hard to spot at first, but soon roused himself awake. Whatever had happened had zapped him of the energy he needed to be human-looking. Groggy, he stepped through the snow over to her.
"Now what was even that." He yowled, moving to her and looking very upset by it all. It was one thing to invite them to a wedding, but to toss them out in such a way was rather rude. Still, what did he know about spirits and ceremonial customs.
Freezing cold now, he shook off the snow from his body and breathed out. "It's late. We should probably all head home." He said the last part in the tired yawn of a cat as he shook his body again free of snow.
It had been a very long, eventful night.
