The Wind Against the Mountain: pt 1

Anila tumbles forward a few feet away from the landing circle. She was so sure that she had figure out how to get away from the rough landings. Standing she frowns brushing herself off as she looked around. It seem there was no one around this late at night.

This was a good thing to her, it meant that she could go check out what she wanted to without running into anyone. Pushing her hair from her face she quickly runs up the path heading towards the mountain.

Reaching the base of the mountain she looks up debating where would be a good place. The home she was in was getting to small for her, and she didn't want to live on the ground, not after a certain pae threat. Closing her eyes she aims her hands at the ground lifting herself into the air using her wind powers.

Flapping her wings she flies up alittle further until she lands on a ledge. Shaking her head she looks down at the ground then back towards the mountain. She hadn't notice it before because it was dark but she was standing in front of a cave. Tilting her head she steps into the cave looking around. "This could work, its big enough...."

A young, dark blue Fae teen sat crouched on a ledge on Aura Nin Mountain. His colorings allowing him to blend well with the dark sky, even the sparkles in hair mimicking the stars themselves. His wings fluttered lightly against the breeze, they too aided in his camouflauge, looking like leaves rustling with the wind. New to this form, but not new to the island, the young pae was watching for signs of life, waiting for anything to happen. He'd been on this mountain for a few days, blending and just observing. Learning and taking in all he could so he could better communicate when he did choose to socialize, if ever. Even his former incarnation was a bit of a quiet man.

Almost yielding to the idea that this would be another uneventful night, he seen a young fae girl grace his mountain. A smile spread across his lips as he quietly fluttered his wings to lower himself down a few feet, getting closer to the ledge she'd landed on. He wanted to observe her for a moment, first decide if she'd be friend or foe.

Looking around the cave she simply smiles then turns walking back out onto the ledge lifting her arms above her head. "This place is perfect, at least here I wouldn't have to worry about running into others. I be free to do as I wish..." taking a seat on the edge of the ledge she lets her feet kick alittle as the wind picked up her hair "I also be one with the wind...." closing her eyes she listens to the night sound coming from the isle.

To her it was music, the wind always carried pretty music to her. Sounds of birds, laugther, singing. This was all music to her. Breathing in slowly she looks around before unbraiding her hair pushing it over her shoulder once more just so the wind could dance through her hair.

Daeron was struck frozen for a moment. This girl ... she didn't look anything like the ones he'd seen roaming around in or on the mountain before. He kept smiling as he watched her, not actually knowing he was smiling.

Perching himself above the ledge behind the girl, he looks up to the sky, he felt the wind as well and took a nice deep breath. He had picked up the common pae language rather quickly, having resided in an area where they sometimes ventured in the past, so he didn't worry too much about his communication skills. Even if the Guardians had told he might struggle with it. "It's a very beautiful night." He spoke with a firm, yet gentle voice, not wanting to cause alarm, but wanting to let her know he was there. He rested rather loosly, watching the sky for a moment before letting his gaze wander back to the beautiful girl below.

Anila looked over her shoulder arching a single brow. The voice had been so close, yet she didn't see anyone around. Licking her lower lip she closes her eyes nodding "That it is, from here you can see all the star. Its truely an amazing sight." turning completely she looked at the mountain looking around carefully "May I know who is behind the gentle voice. I thought I was alone up here on the mountain..." her voice was soft and very gentle.

Her wings fluttered alittle as the wings blew her hair into her face as she continue her search. Standing carefully she looks upwards her eyes searching to spot the person who spoke.

Daeron had for a moment, forgotten his camouflauge and quickly obliged her request. He pushed himself away from the ledge and used his wings to soften the short drop to the ledge the girl was standing on. Bowing his head to be polite, he introduced himself. "I hope I didn't frighten you. My name's Daeron." He smiled, watching her. "And I do believe it is the most amazing sight to see on the whole isle." His comment did have double meaning, but he'd left the interpretation up in the air.

Anila eyes widen alittle as the male fae pae seemed to appear out of no where to her. Her heart skipped a beat as he landed in front of her, next to her older brother she hadn't seen another Fae Pae like herself.

Her eyes looked him over takig in how true beautiful he was also. Smiling then blushing as she forgot her own manner she nods alittle "Its a pleasure to meet you Daeron. I'm Anila, child of the wind. And you didn't frighten me, I thought for a moment I was disturbing someone...." she pauses then looks back towards the sky for a moment. "You can see almost every star there is out there. Its breath taking..."

"Anila, the pleasure's all mine." Daeron's smile broaden and he kept his eyes on her. He was intrigued by this girl. She seemed so much like himself even, yet nothing like the angels and demons that resided on the mountain already. "I'm sure you couldn't disturb anyone, even if you tried." he spoke seriously, not thinking it could be considered a cheesy pick-up line.

"Yeah, its very beautiful, quite humbling even." He let his eyes finally wander from her, and looked to the sky, "Do you come up here to stargaze often, Anila, child of the wind?" He wondered. He'd never seen her before, but admittedly, he didn't really catch all the goings-on anyway.

Anila laughs alittle then shakes her head "Oh no I can, I just try not to..." looking back at him she truely looked at him more closely now that he was closer. She had never seen anyone like him, she met many of the pae. But something about him made her feel peaceful and calm.

Shaking her head she bends down picking up her hair band before pulling her long hair back into a ponytail "Sadly no, this is my first time up on the mountain. I actually came up here because I was hoping to find the perfect spot to live on this peaceful mountain. I don't live on the isle, but I will soon..." she blushes wondering why she had to go and say that.

Daeron was very happy to hear she was considering living on this mountain. With all hope, that meant he'd be able to see her more often, get to know her better even. "This mountain the perfect place to live." Yeah, he was biased in that opinion. He watched her tie her hair back, noticing how graceful her movements appeared, nearly entranced for a second. He flushed a little, then shooke his head slightly to clear his mind. "You did find a good spot." He turned his head to the cave entrance there. "I slept in there a couple nights ago, its calm and roomy, got a great view." He was actually trying to sell her on this cave! "Maybe I could help make it slightly more ... liveable?" He tipped his head a little, hopeful and curious, "I mean, for when you do decide to move to the isle.

Anila smiles looking back at the cave nodding "Yea it does seem very nice, all it would need is a door and window then it would be perfect." turning she steps back into the cave looking it over before looking at him "That would be great, but only if you want to..." looking down she smiles "I should be moving up here very soon, so at least you'll see me again..." giggling alittle she looks up at him "So where do you live? I mean, you must live here on the mountain also. You seem to know it so well..." her wings fluttered alittle behind her out of habit when she is always curious about a person.

Daeron had been watching her wings, thinking how cute that was, before he snapped back to paying attention. "I live on the mountain. No one place in particular, though. I just sleep where I can find cover for the night." He smiled and peeked into the cave once more. A door and window? Hmmm.... "And I do want to. I would love to be able to see you again." He lifted his arm, putting his hand on the rocky surface of the cave entrance as he looked it over before turning his head back to Anila. Smiling, which he couldn't help but do when he looked at her, he turned then leaned slightly against the rock. "It will be nice to have someone to visit."

Anila smiles then walking over she leans against the wall next to him "It would be nice up here, and if you ever needed shelter your welcome to stay with me.." blushing she looks down then laughs "I mean...you would have a place to sleep..." shaking her head she looks at him "It be nice to see you again also. And then having someone to visit is always fun. Meeting people fun also..I have to say I'm glad I chose to wander the mountain tonight." pushing off the rock wall she lifts her arms above her head for a moment then looks into the cave wondering how far it went.

Daeron couldn't help but stare at her when she moved. When she lifted her arms, he felt a thump in his chest and had to catch his breath. He wondered if the Guardians handcrafted her themselves. "Nothing could make me happier, thank you, Anila. And yes, I would be inclined to agree, I'm glad you came here tonite as well."

He moved away from the wall slowly and headed inside of the cave, looking over his shoulder he motioned for her to follow him inside. "This mountain has a molten core, so the caves, caverns and tunnels stay warm. I think you'll enjoy living here." He was being presumptuous, but hopeful as well. He enjoyed living on the mountain, so why wouldn't everyone?

Anila looked toward the darken cave then back to Daeron "I won't be able to see. It would be far to dark for me." even though she said this she still followed him. Her hand seeking out his upper arm just so she wouldn't lose him. "But if its warm then I will indeed like living here..." falling quiet she keeps her eyes looking ahead of her so they could adjust to the darkness.

Looking up at Daeron she smiles then laughs alittle "I think the guardians heard me talking about wanting to see more fae. Next to you, my brother Comos is the only other fae pae I know...." placing her other hand on top of his arm when it gets to dark for her she breaths in slowly. She couldn't figure out why she felt so extremely comfortable near him. She had just met him yet she felt like she knew him most her life.

When he felt her hand on his arm, he felt kinda jittery inside, anxious and nervous even. He shivered slightly and looked at her hand with a little smile on his face. "If we wait a moment, our eyes will adjust. I was just wanting to take only deep enough to feel the warmth. Not too far. Exploring this particular cave I think would be best saved for daylight, and that window." He laughed a little and patted her hand on his arm softly. "So its just you and your brother? You are actually the only other fae pae I've ever met. Well, first and only I've seen too."

In the quiet dark, deprived of a couple sense, others seem to enhance slightly, naturally. He becomes a little more aware of the sounds and smells, and even the feelings. Taking a deep breath in, he thinks for a moment he was able to smell the sweet scent that is Anila.

Anila nods watching the darkness, sure enough her eyes did adjust so she was able to see the walls as well as the ground. Looking up at Daeron she smiles "Yes me and Comos are the only fae pae in my home off the isle. Course The rest are angels and a few demons. I'm one of nine in this family..." shaking her head she sighs "Its why I want to get away, I feel trapped in that home with so many pae. Plus with the new babies then my sister falling in love I feel left out."

With a shrugs she shakes her head before smiling "I want a place of my own, where I feel safe, warm, and happy. Where I can have my own family.." laughing alittle she shakes her head "That is once I find someone I like..." blushing she looks down as she lifts her hand to cover her mouth. Why did she have to go and say that?

Daeron found Anila's mannerisms just completely adorable and couldn't help the little chuckles as he watched her dark form. he slowly started walking deeper into the cave, watching his footing and making sure he wasn't going to lead her over any obstacles. "Wow, you do have a large family. I can see why wanting your own space to grow would be important."

Someone I like ... He rather liked hearing that phrase spoken with her voice. Definately meant she did not have someone yet. "I think you can find all of that here. On Telrunya I mean." He glanced over to her and rubbed her hand a little as it was still on his arm. "I mean ... You will be safe here on the mountain, I will make sure of it."

Thank you, Krista!

The Wind Against the Mountain: pt 2

Anila smiles looking down at the ground for a moment before looking back up at him "Thank you, I was alittle worried about moving out on my own. But knowing that I'll be around someone who sweet to talk to and will help keep me safe makes me feel alot better." pausing she looks down at his hand as it rubbed her hand. Why did that feel right to her?

Shaking her head she laughs then smiles "Whoever the lady is in your life is very lucky. If I was her I would never let you go, but that just me..." shrugging alittle she looks back down the tunnel. She could already feel that it was getting warmer, so it must have meant they were getting closer to the molten core he was talking about.

Daeron blushed, but it was not noticable in the dark, or even with his dark complexion. "That's very sweet of you to say, Anila, but uhm... You're the first girl I've ever actually met so there isn't really a lady in my life, cept maybe you now." He was laughing slightly, as he didn't mean that to sound as forward as it did. Taken literally, it was all true. "Er, I mean... 'cause yanno, you're standing here now..." He sighed a little. Why she make so nervous?

He slowed the pace eventually stopping. "I think this far enough, feels pretty warm, huh?" He looked down at her with a huge smile. She still hadn't pulled her hand away, which he took as a good sign. He didn't want to go too deep into the dark, not without any light or provisions.

Anila blushes after hearing his word. She didn't understand why, but those word sounded perfect coming from him. "Yea I guess I would be the only lady in your life then..." biting her bottom lip she looked away as she couldn't believe she had just said that. "I mean you know since I'm the first girl you have met..."

Breathing in slowly she looks around glad for the change of subject "Yea it is pretty warm in here. I like it though, I wouldn't have to worry about being cold..." laughing alittle she rest her head against his arm for a moment before pulling back blushing "Sorry..." her hand remained on his arm as she looked back at the ground.

Daeron got a little dreamy there for a minute, listening to Anila, and her resting her head on his shoulder nearly gave him a heart attack. He had to think for a moment about what was going on. The Guardians didnt' tell him about these kinds of feelings, or thoughts. Tho, they had told him he was free to do as other pae do. Is this what they do? "Its cozy, does't get hot. And ... don't be sorry, I ... liked it." now he was blushing again.

"Uhm... shall we head back to the light?" He'd turned a little in the dark, and was facing her a little more rather than standing beside her, motioning for the direction they'd came. He'd only wanted to show her the warmth the cave provided anyway, but if she wanted to go further, or stay inside, he wouldn't object any.

Anila smiles then biting her bottom lip she nods touching his cheek lightly with her other hand "Yea I think it would be best if we head back into the light. Otherwise I know I'm going to stumble and make a fool of myself. And I rather not do that, at least not in front of you Daeron." laughing alittle she takes his hand this time giving it a gentle squeeze before turning to walk a few steps ahead of him.

Looking back she smiles as she runs her hands through her hair. She was so confused about everything going on inside her. Her sister Kaelin had never warned her about the jittering stomach, or the fast heartbeat. But all this felt good to her. Looking away she tries to hide her face with her bangs as she felt the blush appearing on her face yet again.

Goosebumps and shivers? That was new. Daeron had to glance at his arms to see what was happening, but it was hard to tell in the dark. Her touch was something rather unbelievable. He was grinning like a fool tho by the time she took his hand. "I doubt anything you do would make you look like a fool." he chuckled weekly and returned the gentle squeeze as he started walking with her back to the entrance.

"Your skin is very soft. It's nice." He mentioned, conscious of how her hand feels and how it felt on his cheek and arm before that. He was blushing, and nervous after he said that, not sure if it was something appropriate to say.

Anila looks at him giggling alittle "Trust me, if you saw me stumble. You would laugh also, I knwo I do. Its funny sometmes..." with a shrugs she looks down at her hands then back to him "Thank you, I guess if from having to keep so clean around TenderHeart as well as the new twins....."

Blinking a few times so her eyes would adjust to the light as they got closer she looks back to him. Without really thinking she ran a single finger along a pattern on his skin "I like the marking on your skin...there so different to my celtic ones..."

Daeron too was trying have his eyes adjust to the brightness. Well, not bright, but brighter than the pitch dark cave. "If you ever stumble, I would do my best to catch you before you landed." He chuckled slightly, tho he was serious. 'Are the twins Tenderheart's babies?" Daeron was asking, wanting to get to her better obviously, but curious about her family too.

He shivered visably now when she touched his arm. He looked at her hands. Wow, such delicate fingers, and so graceful. "Thank you. I like your's. Very pretty and my favorite color."

Anila smiles shaking her head "No TenderHeart my baby brother, well he not blood. But he my caretaker child like I am, so he my baby brother. The twins belong to my older sister and my brother in law, they were born here not to long ago. There cute because they copy eachother in everything. If one cries the other cries also.." giggling she looks at him "Aww your so sweet, I've never had anyone tell me they would catch me..." leaning up she kisses his cheek quickly then pulls back looking up at the sky once more as they walk out of the cabe.

Looking down at her skin she smiles "Really? You like my patterns and the color?" blushing she pushes her bangs from her face as she looks up at him. "I wish I had your hair, its so pretty with all the sparkling colors, and I love the shade..."

Daeron was struck frozen for a minute when she kissed his cheek. Wow! "Such a large family," He had mentioned that already, but was struck stupid momentarily while he tried to gather his thoughts. "Is it fun having so many people always there?" He mentally smacked himself for such a stupid question. If she wants to move away, its obviously stressful. Dur.

Under the stars, with just the moon to shine down on them, it was rather serene. Romantic even, tho, Daeron tried to not think about that aspect. "Yeah, I'm partial to blue things." He says giving a playful wink. "And thank you again," He brought his hand up, brushing his own bangs from his face. "But I think its another case where I like your's better." He reached hand out, gently brushing a wisp of her hair from her face. "So soft and delicate." He was staring right in her eyes as he murmured those words. He was still a nervous wreck, but trying to muster courage and bravery. It wasn't really like him to be like this, but she had a strange effect on him.

Anila heart seem to stop on her when she felt his finger brush against her cheek. Looking up at him she bites her bottom lip then smiles "Oh and what case might that be, if you don't mind me asking?" her eyes locked with his as she took a step closer running her fingers lightly over his cheek again.

Something about him drew her to him, she just felt like she needed to touch his skin. Was it to let herself know he was real, or was it something else. Her fingers were trembling alittle from being so nervous that she might do something to offend him.

Daeron's gaze did not falter, he kept his eyes on hers for as long as her's focused on him. Something so hypnotizing about her eyes. Something so warm and intriguing even. She was like a magnet and he couldn't pull himself away. Was it like this with every pae? Or is she just that special. He liked to the think the latter. "That I like your hair more than mine." He said with a light tone almost not even knowing what he'd just said. He let still letting his fingers barely touch the gentle wisps around her face.

All or nothing! Don't be shy! ... but I don't want her to run away. He felt his heart beat speed up and he was lost in a dream world as he stared into her eyes. His hand came up, and he touched the back of her hand that was on his cheek gently before taking her hand in his. He wanted to kiss her so badly, the moment seemed so right. Leaning down just a little, he took in a deep breath and slowly moved his head closer to her. Wanting his intention to be known, but also, giving her the chance to pull away if this was the wrong move. He prayed to the Guardians it wasn't.

Anila breath caught as she saw him move closer to her. Licking her bottom lip she frowns lightly wondering what caused him to stop. Turning her hand in his she gave it a gentle squeeze as she step closer to him laughing alittle "You know its strange, I just met you but I feel like I know you. Silly ain't it?"

Looking down she blushes then looks back up at him. Did she dare, or would that be to bold. She really wanted to kiss him, but what if she scared him off. Looking back at him she decide to not worry about it as she stepped closer to him closing her eyes.

Daeron's breath caught for a second when he thought she was pulling away. With a meek smile, he looked down to where her gaze had gone too. "It might strange and silly, but I happen to agree." He spoke gently, but when she looked back up and closed her eyes, his felt his heart skip a beat and without wasting any more time, he leaned back to her and closed his own eyes as his lips met hers.

He had no idea what he was really doing, he'd not been very educated on matters of the heart and what to do, he'd been moving on instincts, which was why he was so nervous too. He'd not been prepared to meet someone like Anila tonite. Tho, if he'd known she would have walked into his life, he would have been a nervous wreck all day waiting in anticipation. After lingering a few moments, he pulled back a little and opened his eyes, waiting to see her reaction, but also, needing to calm himself down. His mind was racing faster than his heart was beating.

Anila felt like she was floating on the cloud when his lips met hers. She had been wanting to kiss him for a few minutes now, but had been so scared to. Feeling his lips lifts from her she kept her eyes for a moment hoping that wasn't just something she dreamed up.

Opening her eyes slowly she smiles as a blush creeps to her cheeks. Breathing in slowly she smiles as she lifts her hand to touch his cheek "Now I'll have to agree that felt right also..." her fingers caressed his cheek as she looked up into his eyes hoping he did agree with her.

Daeron's smile stretched across his face as he looked down at Anila. "Very right." Some things become a little clearer to him at this moment and not so nerve wracking. "I ... I had been wanting to do that for a while." He admitted freeling, feeling his courage returning now that he knew she wouldn't run. At least, he hoped that he was right in that.

He touched her cheek with as much tenderness as she was touching his. He chuckled lightly as he gazed into her eyes. "I can see the stars sparkling in your eyes." It was rather pretty actually, but that wasn't his focus, he was just ... speaking whatever popped into his head as he was floating miles above the ground himself. His fingers gently played with her the little curls of hair around her face. He had a lot of things he wanted to blurt was trying hard not to blurt them all at once.

Anila closes her eyes for a moment as she felt his hand caress her cheek. Opening her eyes she giggles alittle "Okay, so I wasn't the only one feeling that way..." looking up at him she smiles "Really I thought the stars were in your eyes.." leaning up she kisses his lips quickly.

Pulling away she places her hands behinf her back looking up at the stars "Think the guardian wanted us to meet..I mean after all they know everything.." turning she looks back at him biting her bottom lip.

Anila's quick kiss set his heart soaring even further than it was already. Tho, he was saddened when she pulled away. But it was quick lived sadness. Watching her made him happy in ways he didn't know possible.

"I think they did. Actually, no doubt in my mind." He spoke as he walked to stand behind her. He put his hand on her shoulder, rubbing a little as he moved to be by her side. Looking at her, but facing out over the isle, he spoke softly, "Would I be a fool to think they led you here tonite on purpose? I mean..." He paused for a moment, those darn anxious nerves returning. "...uhm ... I'm very glad you are here, right now." He was blushing terribly now. He could feel his cheeks burning up even. "Anila, I know we just met, but ... I really like you, and..." He was trying to not choke on his words, but he was stumbling bad trying to find the right way to confess.

Anila listens to him stumble over his word, smiling she leans up brushing her lips agianst his before pulling back slightly looking into his eyes "I like you alot also Daeron. I don't want this to be the last time we see eachother..I want to see you again...." looking up at the sky she smiles then looks back at him "I don't know why the guardians brought me to you tonight, but I'm very glad they did..."

Stepping close to him she wrapps her arms around his waist hugging him for a moment before pulling back. It was mostly so she would see if he would stop being nervous and return her gesture. Placing her hands behind her back she smiles looking into his eyes.

Anila did ease his nerves again. That talking thing was what made him nervous he thinks. Her hug was probably the best hug he'd ever gotten. Granted, in his pae body, it was the only hug, but still, the best hug ever. He reached out to wrap his arms around her, and pulled her into a firm, but gentle embrace and held it. "I don't think this will be the last time. Since you are moving here, I can pop in and bother you all the time." He tried being a little more light-hearted to see if it would help.

He loosened the embrace and took a step back to look at her again. He smiled warmly and reached for one of her hands. "I'm glad they did too."

The Wind Against the Mountain: pt 3

Anila heart seem to stop for a moment as she felt his hand on her waist pulling her closer to him. Although the embrace didn't last as long as she wish it would have it was enough to make her really want to move up to the mountain, and soon. "Yes you'll be able to come visit me anytime you wish, if you want. My door will always be open to you...." frowning alittle when he stepped away she looked down blushing.

Laughing alittle she looks up at him as she stepped toward him. Placing her hand on her hip she gives him a gentle smiles looking up into his eyes "What now Daeron?"

Daeron smiles and stepped back towards Anila and hugged her again, just wanting the physical contact again. "Thank you. I will probably be bugging you everyday then." He chuckled a little bit and took a deep breath. He hoped the night wouldn't end and he already started dreaded their departure, but tried to convince himself to enjoy this moment, not fretting over the next.

Keeping the embrace, he pulled his head back a little so he could look at her, "Well..." He had a slightly playful grin on his face and waited only a brief moment before leaning in, pressing his lips to hers once more.

Anila didn't really have time to say anythign as she felt his lips upon her own once more. Letting her eyes drift close she places on hand on his chest while the other moves of to caress his cheek softly. Her wings fluttered alittle behind her hoping that the kiss would never end.

This felt right to her, and she didn't care at all who came looking. She only wanted to be around one male pae outside her family. Moving her hand up to rest on his neck she pulls away biting at her bottom lip lightly "I like that answer to my question." looking up at him she runs her finger lightly over his bottom lip, not even trying to leave his embrace.

Daeron shivered a little when she touched his lip. He stood there watching her, studying the features on her face. "I have to admit, I thought it was a pretty good answer, too." He gave a wink and grinned, keeping his arms around her.

"You don't have to leave soon tonite, do you?" He was hoping not, because he was enjoying this time and knowing she was moving here was making him feel giddy inside. But he asked because he hoped they'd get a chance to talk some more, maybe do a little more kissing before sunrise. He blushed a little thinking that.

Anila shakes her head then smiles alittle "No I don't have to leave anytime soon. I doubt anyone would even know I'm missing. Things are so bad at home right now. But I figure I have a room in the HeadQuarters to rest in for the night." moving both her hands to rest on his chest her runs a finger along the pattern "So basically when I get tired is when I have to go. And since I'm not tired yet, you have me to yourself for awhile..." giggling she pushes her bangs from her face sa she smiles brightly to him.

Daeron grinned, a very chesire cat-like grin, and wiggled his brow a bit. More to be silly than anything. Yeah he was a ball of nerves but he was slowly relaxing and feeling not so scared of sending her running if he was more himself. "Yay! That sounds like a great plan. Tho, I'm sure they'd notice you missing, I know I would." he chuckled weakly and loosened the embrace just a little, but didn't pull his arms from her. He just wanted to start rubbing her back a little bit. "I will keep you safe from anything bad, I promise. You are too special and sweet to have to be exposed to anything bad. Come sunrise, I will start doing all I can to make this cave your home." Yeah, he was eager to have her move in.

Anila laughs alittle shaking her head "Its nothing bad, my caretaker is missing that is all. Then her love in ehr life had to go off and fight a war. So we pae are pretty much running the home. And trust me, no one saw me leave that home. Everyone was sleeping..." she stops speaking when she hears what he says next.

Her lips parted as her eyes widen alittle "Are you serious? Oh Daeron thank you!!" wrapping her arms around his neck she pulls her body close to his as she give him a hug. Kisssing his cheek she smiles still hugging him.

He felt a little guilty, thinking his intentions might be selfish, but he did genuinely want to help her in any way he could. After bringing himself back down after that hug and sweet little kiss, he was finally able to gather himself back up to speak agian. "Wow, rather hectic sounding in your house. And yes, Anila," He loved the way her name sounded, "I'm serious." He grinned again, and returned the hug, taking full advantage of the closeness and kissing her lips again.

Giggling against his lips giving him many gentle kisses before finaling pulls her lips away from hi. Resting her forehead against his she she continues to hold him close "You have to be the most sweetest pae I know. Can I keep you?" her color darken alittle in her cheeks as she looks up into his eyes. She didn't have a clue as to why she said that, it sounded so bad after she spoke the word. "Um...yea it is rather hectic, I'm hoping my caretaker will return home soon..."

Daeron lifted his head and laughed cheerfully. He gave her a gentle squeeze and kissed her cheek. "Of course, mi'lady." With a playful wink, he continued, "I promise you the clean up will be easy, but I do tend to eat a bit more than normal." Softening the amused and playful expression, he lowered his gaze again, looking at her with caring eyes. "I am going to argue you on one point tho. I think YOU are the sweetest pae I know." he winked and kissed her lips gently and pulled back, licking his own. "Mmm. Yup. Very sweet."

The Wind Against the Mountain: pt 4

Anila smiles against his lips as he kiss her softly. When he had pulled away she nearly whimpered, but she controled herself as she gave him a sly smiles "You know sweets can be bad for your health...." running her fingers along his hair she takes a step back placing her hands behind her back.

She watched him still thinking he was the sweetest pae on this isle. Looking up towards the sky she mouths the words 'thank you' before looking back down at him. Her hair blowing past her face, she didn't want to speak. Plus she was mostly curious what Daeron would so with her stepping away from him.

"Darlin, if too many sweets is bad, I don't wanna be good." He laughed at the cheesy joke, but was quickly humbled when she took her step away. He playfully pouted his bottom lip as he watched her. He was unable to see what she'd mouthed when she looked to the sky, and he didn't hear anything, so he was mildly curious, but not really wanting to pry. Other things occupied his thoughts currently. Like a certain candy-kisses wind pae standing directly in front of him looking absolutely breathtaking in the moonlight...

He stepped towards her, an arm outstretched so he could pull her back into another embrace.

Anila giggles as she is pulled back into Daeron's arms. Placing her arm around his neck she tilts her head looking up into his eyes "If I ever get a chance to meet the guardians in person, I think I might hug them. Because I never thought I would meet anyone like you...Your perfect..." laying her head on his chest she gives him a gentle squeeze closing her eyes "I'm half tempted to see about getting up here soon. Like in a day or so..."

Looking back up at him she leans up kissing him quickly before pulling back "Beside don't you need a roof over your head?"

"My first impression of you ... was that the Guardians handcrafted you just special. I hoped for me, and I still do, but I'm more confident now that maybe they did." He grinned and held her, using the most tender of holds, firm but gentle. When she mentioned moving here in a day, his heart jumped. With her head on his chest, he would have been surprised if she didn't feel it.

"Anila... nothing would make me happier than to have you here like, yesterday." He chuckled weakly and then leaned down to kiss her again. Those kisses were hard to resist, so he figured he'd get one whenever he could sneak one in.

Anila blushes returning the kiss as she pulls herself closer to him. His lips felt so soft and being in his arms was right in her mind. Pulling back from the kiss she smiles looking up at him "Maybe I was, no one really knows how I got here. I just appeared as a child one day." pausing she presses her lips softly against his again. Like him she couldn't get enough of his kisses.

Pulling back again she licks her bottom lip then giggles "Then its settled, I'll be up here living on the isle in two days. That should give me plenty of time to get all my items together. Plus if I talk to grandmother Krista, I'm sure she can help me fix it to how I like the home.." running her hand though his hair she smiles. "After that you'll always see me..."

Daeron grinned and tightened his grip on her just enough to lift her feet off the ground. He spun around quickly, hootin' his excitement. "This is great! If you need help, all you need to do is ask." He was giddy with excitement to have her staying on the isle.

He stopped for a moment and blinked, recalling her words in his mind. Had she mentioned me needing a roof over my head? Was she implying...? He was all grins, "I can help your grandmum too if she would like." he was maybe too eager? Unable to resist, she was pulled into a rather firm kiss, not quite like the soft gentle ones they'd been exchanging so far. It was sort of his way of saying ... thank you. Not only to her, but the Guardians even. He knew he had something very precious and special in his arms this night. He would do all he could to keep her happy and safe. He pledged this, in his mind, hoping the Guardians would even hear his unspoken oath.

Anila gasped as she was lifted into the air then met with a frim kiss. Wrapping her arms fully around his neck she returns his firm kiss. From the time she was placed on the isle until now, she had never felt whole. But in his arms she did, and she never wanted to lose that feeling now that she knew what it was.

Lifting her head she looks into his eyes as she runs her fingers lightly over his cheek "I think once I get everything here, I'll need help. Grandmother along with grandfather have pae children they have to watch over. So I don't wish to pull them away for long." pausing she kisses his forehead then looks down at him "So do I have my grandmother make up an extra bedrrom or not? I would feel bad if you stayed out here, what if it rained or something?"

Daeron could feel that heart-leaping-out feeling in his chest again. "If... If its something you are comfortable with. I would love if I could stay with you. Would mean worlds to me, Anila." He felt lighter than air. She is perfect. His expression spoke volumes of how happy he was at this moment.

"Truth be told, if it was the only way to see you, I would probably sit out here in the rain anyway. But a nice dry room next to yours is good too." He gave her a wink and just kept his eyes on her beautiful face.

Anila smiles kissing his cheeks before pulling back to look at his face "I've lived with guys since I could remember. I even slept in the same room with them up until I was a teenager. So I want you to stay with me. In fact I would feel alot better knowing there was someone else beside me in my home. I'm use to having others around..." pausing she giggles then wrinkles her nose up.

"Beside I wouldn't be the greatest girl if I didn't ask you to stay with me. And really you can sleep anywhere you wish, I just figure you would want your own room..." running her finger along his bottom lip she watches his eyes. Her heart was beating fast within her chest, this caused her to blush hoping that he didn't feel it.

The Guardians failed to fill Daeron in on certain pae feelings and actions, because they were sure it would be unneccessary information. Plus, all pae learn what love is on their own anyway. So Daeron was still rather naive and unknowing on these matters. His actions this night were the result of what he felt was the right action based on her reactions even. Well, that and before he'd received his pae body, as the spirit that dwells in the mountain, he HAD seen the few pae that live there get affectionate with one another.

"My own bedroom would be awesome. I've never had one before." He chuckled lightly and leaned down to kiss her cheek gently. "And, its an honor to be able to keep you company and safe while you live on Telrunya." His hands remained locked together at the base of her back as he stood with her in his arms. The world, the universe and everything just seemed to all slide into place tonite.

Anila hugs him close then giggles from the peck to her cheek. Shaking her head her bangs fall into her face as she looks up at him "I'm glad you decided to stay with me. It would be creepy in the beginning living by myself." laying her head back on his chest she closes her eyes listening to his heart beat. Nothing would top this night ever in her eyes. This night was perfect and it made her feel alive. "Thank you for coming into my life..."

Blushing she opens her eyes looking up at him "Did I really say that outloud?" she bites at her bottom lip before looking away. She just seem to speak her mind when he was around.

Daeron laughed lightly, but not a condescending type of laugh, more of a comforting type of a chuckle. He leaned forward, touching her cheek with his. "You did. And I'm glad. I liked hearing that. And Anila, thank you, as well." He tipped his head back just a little to give her cheek a soft kiss. He pulled his head back a little in hopes she would back at him. "You're very cute when you blush." he murmured softly to her, watching her.

The Wind Against the Mountain: pt 5

Anila giggles then runs her fingers along his cheek returning the kiss to the other cheek "I'm not that cute when I blush.." looking up at him she smiles then lays her head on his chest closing her eyes for a moment "I really hope I don't wake up tomorrow and find this was nothing but my dreams...."

Daeron inhaled a bit deeper than was normal, a happy, contented sort of sigh escaped his lips. He kissed the top of her head when she leaned against his chest. "Well, you are cute all the time, but the blush does add to the adorableness." He snickered slightly, then looked upwards to the sky. "If this is a dream, I don't ever want to wake up." He spoke softly, looking to the sky as if pleading with the Guardians that this be real.

He lowered his gaze once more, looking at Anila and moved his hand so he could gently caress her cheek. "If you wake up and find this all a dream, I will search for you, never giving up." He knew this was not a dream, but there was still that little part that sometimes, dreams to do play tricks. "But ... I'm fairly certain this is real." He chuckled lightly, thinking maybe a pinch on the bum would work, but he held back, not wanting to be cheeky.

Anila looks up at Daeron smiling then nods her head alittle "I'm sure its real also. I mean I can hold you, and you feel real. So it means your real..." moving her arms to wrap around his neck she runs her hands slowly through his hair just watching him.

Daeron is grinning from ear to ear as he looks at Anila . She feels so warm and comfortable in his arms. Her soft skin is even amazing and he can't help but pet and brush his fingers over it, whereever his hand lays on her. Currently, the base of her back.

With another happy sigh, he wets his lips a little before speaking. "Anila, are you going to need any help in moving your things here?" He would help her at the drop of a hat, but the thought of leaving the island was rather frightening.

Anila closes her eyes for a moment just enjoying the touch of his hands on her back. OPening her eyes when he spoke again she smiles "I figured I would have my brother Comos help. He a fairy also plus he can create worm holes. So it be easy to move the stuff." pausing she leans up brushing her lips against his after he licks them before pulling back "It doesn't mean I won't need help afterwards though..." giving a slight shrug she relaxes against him once again.

"Wow, that's gotta be an interesting way to move things." He chuckled lightly, not really knowing much about her brother's powers, but knowing what a worm hole is at least. "I'll help any way, any time." he snerked before giving her a tender squeeze and pulling her into a sweet, but firm kiss.

Anila didn't even respond to what he said, she was enjoying the kiss way to much. Pulling herself even closer to him, if that was possiable. She runs her hands slowly through his hair. Her wings fluttering alittle behind her.

Daeron leaned back a little, keeping the beautiful and delicate little faerie girl in his arms, but lifting her feet off the ground. He smiled a little as they kissed, and kept his eyes shut tight.

Gasping against his lips she pulls away from the kiss only to hold herself closer to him "Daeron I'm heavy, were gonna end up falling over.." she looks at him biting at her bottom lip. Sure she had been picked up all the time as a kid, but as a teen Kaelin told her she was too heavy to be picked up.

Daeron just smirked a little and grinned. "Anila, you're not heavy." He spun around a bit to show he still had control and could easily manage her weight. He set her down on the ground, only to pick her back up, only this time, scooping her up in his arms. "If anything, you're light." He said with a wink.

Gasping again when she fully picked up this time, she closes her eyes licking her bottom lip for a moment. Opening her eyes slowly she looks at him then at the ground seeing he was okay after all. Turning back to him she giggles then smiles "My sister Kaelin said I was too heavy after I grew, so I figured she was right. But if your saying I'm light then I'll believe you..." resting her head on his shoulder she smiles "You like holding me don't you?"

Daeron grinned, "Its that obvious, huh?" He nuzzled her hair alittle bit when she rested her head on his shoulder. "Your sister is out of her mind." He laughed a little, "You weigh practically nothing." Well, to Daeron she did. "And yes, I like being close to you, having you in my arms."

Anila giggles then smiles "Just alittle, mostly because you haven't let me go since you manage to hold me the first time. Not that I mind, I like being held by you, I feel safe..." kissing his cheek she closes her eyes just listening to his breathing. She gotten so use to being in his arm so quickly it shocked her alittle, but yet she didn't want to move.

"Maybe you should invest in a prybar?" Daeron joked with her and huggled her closer, well, best he could holding her up like this. Calming his own snickers down a bit and after a deep breath, he smiled softly. "Truthfully, I never want to let you go." He had a deep, unavoidable fear that if he did, she wouldn't come back. Its not that he didn't believe she would, its just, he wondered if this was real. The dream aspect occured to him, but ... would the Guardians do this to test him? He sure hoped not. But he had to have faith as well. Doubting things wasn't in his nature, so he wasn't sure why he was starting. Sweeping that doubt out of his mind, he smiled a bit brighter her and set her feet back gently on the rocky surface, but still kept a hold of her hand with his. He looked out over the horizon, "The sun will be coming up soon." He pointed at the lightening sky in the east.

Anila looks down at her hand in his frowning alittle before looking out over the isle "Yea, I should be heading home." looking up the frown was still on her face as she stepped closer to him "But I don't want to Daeron, I want to stay with you..." looking back at the ground she sighs.

Daeron seen her expression and sighed along with her, frowning himself and wishing the sun would just ... stop. "I want you to stay here with me too, Anila." He pulled her close, wrapping his arms around her. "Tonite, was ... magical." Yeah, he knew he was being corny, but he didn't know how else to say it. "I don't want it to end." He sighed again, but smiled this time. He looked into her eyes and felt his heart race again, just as it had the first time he looked into them. Even as sad as he was to know she'd be heading off the isle, he couldn't frown when looking at her. Even if he tried. "You'll be back soon, yes?" His expression was obviously hopeful.

Anila smiles looking up into his eyes, she knew even as she slept she would feel him with her as see those eyes watching her. Pushing her hair from her face she nods smiling "Yea I'll return in three days. That should give me plenty of time to pack." running her hand along his cheek she leans up brushing her lips against his in a tender kiss before stepping away from him.

She knew if she didn't leave now she wouldn't. Biting her lip she smiles again "Three days I shall return to this isle and return to you for good.." turning she walks to the edge. Looking over her shoulder she winks blowing a kiss to him before jumping off the ledge.

Moving her wings quickly she lands near the lauching pad. Turning she watches the mountain with a small smiles. Kissing her hand she turns blowing that into the air to send it to Daeron. With a giggle she steps into the circlr just as she pushes the button sending herself off the isle heading for home.

Daeron 'caught' her kiss and held it close to him. He waved after her as he watched Anila take to the sky and disappear over the trees. He sighed a little, but was oddly happy still. "Three days... Three days." He mumbled and kept his eyes on the sky where his treasured Anila had flown. "Will be the longest three days of my life." He chuckled weakly then walked to the edge of the rock and sat down, hanging his legs over the edge as he leaned back. He looked towards the east and watched the sun slowly creep up, altho he was lost in thought, a beautiful blue pae dancing around in his mind.
