Wolframite tilted his head just so and closed his eyes a moment when his ears were touched, tail slightly ticking up in pace as they were gently rubbed a moment - sadly too short.

Standing up straight and trying not to look disappointed, he nodded. "I have bone? What type? Animal? Human?" He asked, not caring if the other one knew he also collected parts of things. He hunted animals after all, and humans, deep down, were animals just like him.

"I've also used crystal before from the Negaverse." He added, wondering if he could use that for earrings."Any help would be welcomed though I'm not sure why you are so willing to put yourself out here again. Are you still this comfortable to all Negaverse agents you've met?"

"You mean what's in your ear that needs to be pierced through? It's cartilage...it's not bone...it's different. I think it's a connective tissue or something." He didn't do piercings himself so he wasn't entirely sure...he was a tattoo artist. "However they do make some earrings out of bone - animal bone." He had one or two pieces at home but he didn't wear them often.

"So you,...want to use some bones yo u have for material to make earrings if you get any piercings?" That was...interesting but the idea wasn't bad. Just who to get to make any jewelry. He was sure he could find someone...the community was fairly close most of the time.

"I've never met anyone else and you haven't tried anything yet. So why should I not be comfortable?" Shrugging his shoulders as if he didn't care much - which he didn't. "I'll do what I want - not what someone dictates to me." Unless it was with good enough reason.

"I just know officers who pretend to be nice as a decoy to get closer and then go for your life. I'd hate for you to find out the hard way and wind up not talking about these things on a rooftop again." He said, moving down to sit a moment.

"How have you been? Have you thought of any more questions? Have you learned or thought of anything more about your situation?" He asked, gesturing for the other to sit down since Wolframite didn't feel like leaving just yet.

"Mmm, I'll try and keep that in mind for next time. At least you're not singing the praises of everyone on your side, saying I'll be safe with anyone on your side." And be allowed the time to talk, - to question.

"I take it you've enjoyed talking to me?" Which was perhaps a bit unusual, he didn't talk to many people, he wasn't a people person really and when he did talk to most it was in a rather even and calm tone. Some might even call it cold, and he was sure some had.

"I've been doing well. What is expected of senshi on your side? I know you mentioned teams and seniors helping the new members. I assume someone changing sides, like I would if I joined, would be taken under someones wing. Would it be up to me or just random?" He knew he'd prefer it be the part youma sitting on the roof top. He knew him and he trusted him, he was all he knew, he wasn't going to just follow someone around like a blind lap dog.

"I know from what you said last time that there would be training, and information to learn, but where would someone like me fit in? Given the history between senshi and the Negaverse and senshi being invaders. How would someone deflecting to your side, a senshi, be taken? Accepted with open arms, treated like a leper, mistrust, or what?" Would he be welcome and if so how welcome? Or would there be no place for him at the table, sort to speak. "I won't just be tossed into things because I'm a senshi and still seen as something of an energy...so not worth as much." He hoped the other understood his worry over it, over his own treatment if he did deflect and switch sides.

"Thee last thing...the biggest question. I mentioned it last time...but if I changed sides...what would happen? Life would change, I'm sure, but how?" Moving to settle himself on the roof top casually, as the other gestured for him to sit.

These were concerns he heard before and from talking to another senshi in the past, he might have been inclined to say they might be treated badly, but looking at the others he had talked to, it seemed based on the person's viewpoint and their disposition.

"It depends on the person on how you are going to be accepted. Some Negaverse agents dislike any senshi despite the fact they are on our side and to those, but that is a prejudice they carry and not a accepted viewpoint the Negaverse holds. To us, a senshi who is with us is a comrade. They risk their lives for the cause just as any officer or youma. They made a sacrifice of duty and service and resolve to be here. That isn't taken lightly. What is judged is your performance and dedication. If you decide to make that choice, if there is someone you trust to be your superior, you can choose. I choose mine. Those who don't have anyone will usually be given someone to supervise them. Unlike the side of Order, we want to make sure that our members are physically and mentally prepared. To know what is being asked of them, to make sure that they are being kept fit and nimble enough to ensure they aren't going to be caught off guard to someone who might have trained longer than them. Enough at least to escape and live another day. We don't have the numbers like the senshi and want to make sure everyone survives. In the past we were a lot rougher on recruits but now attitudes have changed and we are less aggressive in our training." He said with a sort of nostalgic smile of a more humorous if not physically intensive time.

"Once recruited, you will be made sure to have the information you need to do your duties which will be to patrol, to stop members of Order, and to gather energy in order to support the Negaverse's efforts. Our youma need it to survive along with other magic the Negaverse might have need for it."

"But there is a risk. You might loose memories. Memories of being the senshi you were. Memories of the person you are outside of your uniform. Chaos being put into your starseed affects it in order to be on our side. There is a cost to being with us when you are already on the side of Order."

"After, you would have your superior and if they have a team, be with their group. As you grow in rank, you can make your own team and take someone under you. We're family. A chain of people looking out for one another. To be there from the start if you should need it. You don't start off alone." He assured him. "There might be some who dislike you for being a senshi, but you'd fit in just like the mauvians, senshi, youma, and officers there. You'd be expected the same things as anyone else." And that was all he could say to that.

Somber, he looked out a moment and lifted one of his clawed hands to scratch behind one ear.

"I defected once already. I was once on your side. I returned. Even after being a traitor, I was still accepted back and given a chance. The Negaverse isn't as cold and heartless as the senshi might let you believe."

At least there wasn't some universal dislike for senshi who joined chaos, that would have just ruined the mood to be honest. It didn't seem like a bad thing but he'd needed to know that. What would be the point of joining a side that would make him feel like trash and treat him just the same?

It seemed, so far, that it would be mostly welcoming and he'd be kept somewhat safe...as safe as you could be in a war. But at least he'd be prepared and not left to his own devices to sink or swim...or well...find another beach - sort to speak. That was what he was doing, wasn't it? Looking at another beach to swim in...he was looking to change sides and pick. Since he was brought into this whole thing he was going to take back some control and make his own choice now on who he fought with and for.

"Memories..." Those were important...memories were life experiences and helped shape a person, nature vs nurture and all that. He could deal with forgetting the senshi things...there wasn't much there. But his family and all...that would be harder to deal with. Though would it really bother him, once all was said and done, if he didn't remember them in order to mourn the memory loss. He wouldn't know what he'd forgotten - good or bad. "And if I forget my civilian life. What will happen to those people? They'll remember me...what if they see me?" Had this been discussed previously? He couldn't remember, iut had been awhile since the last run in with Wolframite. He knew he'd learned enough though - enough to know where he was swinging towards.

"You changed...and then again. So you know both sides then." Staring at the other he shook his head slowly. "You lost a lot of memories and gave up a lot - twice." How did a person survive that emotionally? He wasn't sure he could do it himself, even if he wasn't on the best of terms with his parents. He'd had a good childhood, a normal one, and there were times he wanted to mend things with his parents. it wasn't that things were totally destroyed...but they weren't good either. All because of his personal choices. Though he'd admit, at least to himself, that he understood where they were coming from, and it was a good place, he just didn't like it.

"You said if I joined I could pick someone - someone to work under and mentor me. I could pick you?" Wanting to explain himself he moved to add to his question. "You've been on both sides - you know this side and that side. You've also been the only one I've met on your side." And really the only person, no matter what side, to give him so much information. To provide a better idea of what exactly was going on as a whole. He knew he'd learn from Wolframite and he could say he trusted him...as much as he trusted anyone really.

"Glamour. No one would know who you are if you list memory of being a civilian. But if you forgot being a senshi, then no member of order would remember you. It's a strange divide in how it works. The magic and image of yourself is tied to your starseed. The person changes once your energies change. That disruption alters how some people see you. I could walk up to my own mother and she would never know who I was even if I changed to look like my old self. The only way to break that it even give them a change to see through it, would be for you to outright tell them that."

"It's like a self defense that gets triggers. If you disappeared from those you know and they found out you changed sides or forgot who they were, then they could try and come after you. Turn you back to how they want things to be like before. It gives you a protective shield of a different image to let you be ignored. At least - that's how I always saw it."

"I lost my civilian memories. I don't know much of who I was growing up. I remember being an officer. Then a knight. Now an officer again. If I met anyone from when I was a human, I wouldn't know them. It's good to have that magic for others to not know me. It would be horrible for someone I used to know come to me to ask me things I can't answer and have no idea who they are, what memories we must have created, and what relationship we had. I'm grateul for that "

He turned to look at him and smiled. "I would take care of you, if you decide that. I don't force people to my side."

"I am, however, a very stern and rough teacher. I like doing drills. I'm more for the old ways we did things. Just as a forewarning." He chuckled.

"We see ourselves as we once were...or the new self as well? I mean it would be odd to see a different hair style or color I suppose. So I guess we'd see the new look as well?"

Listening to the other explain it all he nodded his head, it made sense. "That makes sense...given how magic seems to be...as far as I've seen." Limited as that was. "It would then, I suppose, be best to forget the civilian side. No way to mourn those you can't remember. But at the same time...perhaps protecting them from afar..." Either sounded appealing but which could he handle more? Seeing them and never having the chance to mend things, even if he wanted to? Or not remembering them and not being able to mend things because he couldn't remember and they'd never see him again. But wouldn't they try and find him...to talk or worry for him? They still talked now, strained as it was.

"Did you do anything for your mother? Some way to break ties with her and give some sort of closure?" Fake his death, tell her that he was leaving...something. It felt like he needed a plan of some sort. And how could he, a loving son, do such to his parents? To trick them and hurt them like he would need to. But it wasn't his fault. He'd been dragged into this war and pulled onto the wrong side. He had to fix that...but it would cost him to do it.

"It wouldn't be by force - joining your side. I'll deal with that...just don't expect some social butterfly or someone who kisses a**. I'm not the sort for either thing." He wasn't much of a social person and he was rather straight forward when he spoke. He didn't play to emotions...it wasn't his thing.

"There isn't a choice. Whatever is best won't be decided. It's a chance. A flip of a coin that happens when you join us. There is no way to sway of you keep the memories of one side or another. You have to be prepared for either possibilities." He wasn't sure what Wolframite himself had wanted when he corrupted. It was lost to him.

A shrug was given. "I don't know what plan I had. I know when I corrupted, I was packed. I knew enough to have prepared in some ways and there was money to move. I suppose I must have told others. I can't be sure I had a mom, dad, a twin, or even if I was adopted by Willy Wonka. Everything that goes to memories of growing up are gone. I maintain some muscle memory or insight. I know how to write, read, math, and basic information. But how I learned it, what point in my life I learned it, and any memories tied to it are not there. I cannot say how I feel about a holiday compared to any other, and I had to look up my own birthday from records in the Negaverse from my previous corruption."

He adjusted the collar around his throat idly. "But I'm making new ones. Things can be rebuilt slowly, but I will never catch up to what you and others have. Give yourself time to think about the decision."

"To answer about your glamour. You still look like you. You still look the same by description. It's just that people you knew could describe you by the same basics of what made you in the past, it just won't click that they know you. Maybe a feeling of familiarity. A snapping of fingers to try and remember you but hard to pin down. Unlike me, I have a glamour the does change my appearance. Not the normal human details as I don't want to add more to my image issues. Just to hide my youma features to allow me to walk the streets. Does that help clear things up?" He asked.

"You don't have to be social and a** kissing will get you nowhere. I do appreciate snacks though if you wanted to butter up a superior." He said with a smile.

"Can I ask you a human question? What memories do you hold most dear?"

That sounded...life shattering to say the least. That was alot but at least learned things, like math and such was still retained. He wouldn't have to worry about language and he hoped art. At least he'd be able to have art and he could, with some hope to retained insight and muscle memory, remember holding a tattoo machine in case he did forget his civilian side. He hoped he didn't though, it would make things easier in terms of a job.

"I'm trying. It's not an easy or simple choice. It would be a great disrespect, I think, to just rush into this and potentially forget so much...and to leave so many people behind." He was not going to have it easy if he did this, he knew it, and he was understand it more as the other spoke and told him what he knew - what he'd gone through.

"I think so...to a point. It sounds like magical girl animes...or ones with magical characters....like card captor and others." To name a single popular anime that many had known when it was popular, though he supposed it still sort of was. "It makes some sense. And you shouldn't have image issues. I'm sure when you were human you were quite good looking and now...well furry but not bad. And I'd dare to say a bit cute in a way." Shrugging as he spoke he had his hands in his pockets, not at all worried about the other attacking him. He had a feeling he'd soon be looking up to the other as a mentor. He just couldn't walk into this so lightly, it wasn't a matter to do that with. Taking the job he'd taken was easier than this was turning out to be.

"You'll have to give me a list of snacks. I'll see what I can do." Giving something of a smile, the most he'd ever really manage, he wasn't the sort to smile all that much...not since he was younger anyway. Though he'd never been the most social child either...and not the biggest when iit came to smiles and laughter.

The question the other asked last threw him for a moment, it was a surprise. "Childhood memories, when me and my parents got along better. They aren't too pleased with my job choice or me decorating my body. The holidays but also just the days at home...stories. Japanese lessons." Nothing to do with school, his parents when it came to that had been a bit on the strict side...nothing unusual for Asian parents though. But this wasn't Japan or Asia and it stood out against his classmates. He'd enjoyed the normal things, that weren't school related.

"Why?"
PostPosted: Sun Aug 09, 2020 8:34 pm

The compliment caught him off guard, but he smiles despite the slight coloring flushing his cheeks slightly. "If you said that a year ago, you'd be in trouble of me really wanting to corrupt you now." He teased back.

The answer was not one he was happy to hear. "I was curious. I know memories have their value. They build a person. Fill them out. I like to hear what everyone feels, out of all the memories of their life, hold the most value to them. Maybe in hopes I can pay attention and make them myself in some way. But those - I cannot create childhood memories. Family - that I can work on."

"I'm not sure that would be trouble...at least not as much as it might be for someone else. It has downsides, as you've pointed out so well, but I know what I'll decide in the end. But just from a compliment you'd want to corrupt me?" Raising a brow he felt a smirk taking form on his face. "Should I take that to have a double meaning?"

Nodding his head he reached out to pet the others ears. "Family would be good. I can accept that. When I come to you." It wasn't a matter of if....he knew he would. "If I forget art....and my job...remind me - no matter what. In case I forget my civilian side, since I'll have no choice in the matter, the next time we meet." As he knew they would, it was inevitable as far as he was concerned. He'd find the other if he had to - he'd make sure of it. "I'll give you books...art books...tattoo books and others. Keep them in case. I'll need and want them." He might include some other things, he wasn't sure yet. But at least Wolframite understood what memories meant to people and he valued them enough to want to try and give him family ones to replace the ones he might lose.

"I might lose parts of myself...but I can regain some of them. Art was always important to me, since I was a child, Japanese writing is considered a form of art...calligraphy. Since learning it I fell in love with art." In many forms but some he was better at than others.

"I can trust you with that - I know I can. And I will, if you want, make your ears look as pretty as you want. I will find someone...or I will learn to do it myself."
PostPosted: Mon Aug 10, 2020 4:31 am

His tail picked up as he continued to smile to himself. "You could take it that way." He assured him. If he had still been the careless man that had first entered back into the Negaverse, hungry to put distance between his old life, his past lover, and that pain, by putting as many bed-mates between it, then he knew he would have probably taken the senshi beside him. That that he had much standards back then, wanting to fill a void with whatever feeling he could put into it, but Miyo was up there in terms of looks and personality. Too bad Laven would rip out his starseed if he was serious. "My partner would rip your starseed though nowadays if I tried."

The pet he did not jerk away from, knowing it to be a kind gesture, and for once not needing to keep up a professional appearance. He knew that despite the pet, the senshi would still respect him after.

"Make yourself a package. The books. A letter. Things you want to keep. Pictures labeled. Videos if you want them. Bundle it up in a weatherproof box and leave it here. I'll keep this roof for it or you, and take it home with me for if you decide. I might have trouble remembering you if your glamor keeps me from seeing you. Before you corrupt, if it isn't with me, write on your arm this roof's address and to be on the roof. I'll keep checking. If I see someone I do not know there, I will know it's you." It was the only plan he had to not loose him in the shuffle of corrupting and the protective magic they had just discussed.

"That, I would very much like to avoid. As much as I may dislike my currant....predicament I don't care to change it via death." He answered with something of a chuckle and an upwards twitching of his lips. He didn't mention that the others words also gave him a bit of a confidence boost, though he was typically confident in his appearance, it always helped to hear something you could take as a compliment. The other hadn't told him not to take the words how he asked, so it meant he looked good enough.

"Thanks...I'll gather whatever I want." Whatever he might need as well. He'd make sure he did it right, that he considered everything, he'd do his best to gather himself a box of keepsakes...of pieces of himself - of who he had been. It felt a bit sad to think of such things, to think if something like this, but it was the life he was facing and he needed to prepare. "I'll leave it here for you. I'll trust you with it all." And keeping it safe. He didn't tell the other not to go through it, he trusted the other wouldn't, this was going to take time....he had a lot to prepare for.

"I'll find you before I change sides. I'll have you there for it. I don't think it proper to go through this without the person guiding me. You might see me...as a civilian dropping the box off though."
