He turned, eyeing the other. "Hm ... you could likely pass for a strange-looking human if you just ..." He trailed off, reaching over to rearrange the elf's hair to cover his ears.
"And as for me ..." He closed his eyes for a moment and got rid of his ears, tail and wings ... just the most obvious signs that he wasn't human. His hair he left alone this time. "I'll be all right for a while like this," he said, eyes opening again.

He nodded slowly, "Mmm...true enough..." He tilted his head to one side, and kissed Nash gently, "Still handsome though..." A smirk twisted his lips in a devious sort of smile, "Don't make me have to beat anyone off of you."

He smiled back at that, deliberately shaking his head so his bangs fell into his eyes a bit more. "I'll try my best not to." Then he turned and started toward the open gates, still going slowly enough that Far shouldn't have too much trouble keeping up.

He limped along after him, curious as anything about this new place. Well, it seemed they went through something similar everytime they had to use a gate as a last-ditch effort.
Who knows? This might be fun.

Once through the gate, he paused for a moment, just looking around. There was one building that was taller than all the rest, which was mainly what they had seen over the hill. It was a good distance from where they were though ... they seemed to be in a sort of neighborhood.

He took in everything. Once here it was best to fit in as much as possible, who knows how long they'd be staying, after all?
"Interesting place..." He murmured, eyes slightly wide, this was a bit different from anything the elf had seen before.

He nodded slowly, making an agreeing noise. It wasn't nearly as big as the city he'd grown up in, but not bad for a town of this size. He glanced over at the other, lips quirking up. "You've never been in a real city before, have you?"
Though this was technically more a town ... city sounded more impressive.

He turned back to him, hiding his fascination for a moment, "Well, only the elven equivalent of, I suppose." He admitted.
It was...kind of overwhelming...

"Mmhmm. So I'm guessing you want to look around?" he asked, still smiling at his reaction. They had moved off to one side, out of the main path of traffic.

"Hell yes..." He replied just above a mutter. He seemed to be trying to drink in everything at once...almost childlike wonder.

"Let's go then," he replied, reaching over to take the elf's hand and starting off farther into the city. Mostly, he just wandered, not looking for or going anywhere in particular.

Farlest of course, often brought them to a halt just to peer at something he'd never seen before, or just something unique that had caught his eye.
It was during one of those pauses that it hit him. He cocked his head, eyeing Nash a moment, "Hmm...hey, as long as we're here...don't you think we ought to find a place to stay?"

He blinked slightly ... the elf did have a point. "Probably so ... wonder if there's an inn around or something." He turned in a slow circle, looking around. He didn't really remember seeing anything like an inn in their tour of the town so far, though.

He chuckled, "Even if there isn't I'm sure we could find something else." He was all that concerned about it at the moment.
That's when his attention was caught by a piece of paper that had been caught on a gust of wind. He snatched it as it whizzed by his head without a second glance, "Huh...what's this?"
