Chip, watchful as he was in this situation, realized pretty quick just where that brick was aimed. "Hey!" he called out, and tilted his head forward. Right about then, a little beam of light shot out from his little star, and burst the brick in two! A cloud of dust, and the big chunks of bricks continued to fly. "Rude." he concluded.Tetra wasn't idle as this happened, although he hadn't expected the little cat to laser the projectile. It wasn't strictly necessary, as he moved out of the way. Fast moving bricks--and brick chunks--were no joke, after all.
As he was focused on that, there was a rather clear opening for the senshi to escape, if she so chose, much to his chagrin.

Well, today the young senshi had learned that cats could shoot lasers from their foreheads. She was beginning to suspect that their pretty faces were a guise for something much more nefarious underneath. Nevertheless it suited her well enough as the little clatter of rocks and the sudden flurry of activity to get away from them was more than enough cover for her to run.
"Peace out!" she hollered as she threw herself down an alleyway and sprang across several obstacles to put as much distance between herself and her newfound 'friends'.
There were no hard feelings in this one, at least she knew this was just how these things went, but it was a touch disappointing to know that Chip was one of them. Ah, he'd seemed so nice and he still seemed all right but that guy he was with? She wasn't sold.
She'd have other opportunities to best the Negaverse but for the time being she needed to pick her battles and this was one she'd needed to get away from.
Once a safe distance away she'd power down but for the time being she simply kept running. What the chaos twins decided to do now was entirely up to them!

Tetra grunted in annoyance as the senshi managed to duck around a corner, dashing away. He started to give chase, but the little cat on his shoulder interrupted him."Hey! Let Dory go. I'll try to catch her later," he said playfully, bumping his tail against the man's head. "Right now, you're still supposed to help me put all these things out!""Fine," Tetra replied reluctantly, and eyed the cat (with one eye, as the cat was much too close to turn his head). "Too much trouble to chase the girl, anyway." Chip nodded enthusiastically in reply, which prompted a small, amused snort. "I wonder if this job will ever stop surprising me with its oddities.""Probably not," Chip said playfully, and shifted himself up onto Tetra's hat. More precarious, but there wasn't a fight going on. "Now, onward, noble Lieutenant!"Epine de Rose Fin! Thanks for playing. biggrin
