LEAVE?! Little Brother blinked, aghast. Instead of improving the warren, the king was telling him to just leave?

"Where am I suppose to leave to?!" he said loudly, regaining a little bit of his confidence now that he felt mostly sure he wasn't just going to be executed or disappeared for good by one of Joxer's creepy lackeys. Still, having to leave and somehow make it out of the Tanglewood was basically... one or both of those things. He might get snatched up by some predator lurking outside the warren. But not if he could help it.

"You're all crazy!!" he yelled at the king's retreating backside and frowning quite mightily at Finch, just daring her to do something horrible, as she and her sister were wont to do. "Just wait, I'm going to tell everyone about how horrible you all are!"

The buck's cries meant nothing to Finch as she snatched him up mightily by the ears and started dragging him out the door singing and laughing gleefully. "Goodbye goodbye goooodbyyyyyeeee little BRAT!" Towards the large entrance she pushed and shoved him, where a wall of thorns was held aside by a guard as the banished rabbit was shoved out into the open space of the clearing. "She grinned down at him with wild eyes. "By official decree of King Joxer," She paused to let out an excited, shrill giggle, "You are BANISHED!" With this she began skipping and dancing and hopping all around him, kicking up dirt and leaves as she went. "Tell them! Tell them all!! Tell them what a dirty rotten brat you are and how the gracious king allowed you to leave despite your LYING and TREACHERY!" She cackled and suddenly went still, staring at him, her body trembling with crazed glee. "If you survive at all." She whispered, before darting back inside the warren, the wall of thorns closing behind her with finality.

“OW QUIT IT!!!” He just got louder as acceptance of this whole situation started to set in. Fine. This was just fine. All he had to do was run toward the light as soon as they kicked him out, and outrun any nasty predator, and make it out of the Tanglewood before he got eaten. It was all very doable. They’d see.

“WHO NEEDS YOU?” Little Brother yelled back at Finch as she shoved him out of the warren. “You and your stinky king can stay here and rot in these dirty woods! Nobody likes you and you smell like moldy pee!!”

And then she was gone. Well. This was it. Little Brother stared up at the tangle of thorns that rose ominously above him. Truly, what a terrible place this was. He was quite ready to get out of here, assuming that he could. The young buck puffed his chest out with a deep breath. Time to sprint!
