"Oh, yeah, that sounds like a good plan!" Chip agreed with a bounce and a nod. "Measurements, and pictures, too!" Gotta color coordinate...although Chip didn't actually say that just then. He figured all the officers had ways to take pictures, anyway. "I do like avoiding getting maimed. That doesn't sound fun at all," he added. "Besides, how would I make cool new inventions if I can't move?"

"I don't know. Make some bionic limbs for any you loose. It was suggested to me Mauvians could replace body parts when I went blind." Though he wondered still if it would even be possible or as good as his current eyes.
"You know, I always wanted to ask this. How do you even get all these materials? Does the Negaverse just order all the crazy stuff you guys need and deliver it to your office?" He asked.

"Oh, that is a good point," Chip replied, nodding. "But making the first ones would be hard...so I'd still rather not!" He giggled a little. "All this?" he asked, swaying his head around to indicate his collected junk. "Oh, here and there...some of it I find, some of it I make, and sometimes I get people to bring me stuff." He nodded. "All Mauvians are very resourceful, if we put our minds to it! I'm just extra good!" No way to know if that was truthful or just youthful bluster, really.

"Well, if you ever need someone to help with a supply run, I am always around. I also can glamour now, so taking a shopping list to a hardware store should be easy enough if you have the cash for it. That or we just break into some place without security, but I'd rather not bother and small mom and pop's place. Big companies I don't care about but their security is too tight." He complained.
"Do you get lonely being here on your own? I thought Mauvians liked to stick around with the senshi. Or at least some Mauvian place to hang out." He said as he looked about. "Makes me worried about you."

“I went to one of those ‘hardware stores’ a few nights ago,” Chip said matter-of-factly, “There was some neat stuff in there. I didn’t take anything, though.” He nodded once. “I’m sure I’ll need some materials that you can get, but not right now!” “It’s lonely sometimes,” he admitted after a pause. “But I like my machines, and I still like to go explore around. There’s lots of people—and a few maus—to meet and play with!”

"I can understand that feeling. I like getting out when I can, but sometimes it is rough in the barracks. Not everyone is social and a few people don't know what to make of me most of the time."
He smiled at a thought. "How about we go out sometime? I can glamour and look like a normal person. I think you being a Mauvian but people forget you are a person who wants to do things. Kinda like a youma."
He smiled. "Anything you ever wanted to do but never got the chance?"

"Oh, you can?" Chip replied, his tail flicking happily. "Wow! That's useful! I'd love to have a cruise around. Maybe scope out some places to set up listening devices for your youma tracking idea." He rocked forward and put his head on his forepaws as he considered. "Hmm...I dunno...what to people do in the city all the time? I mean, I know there's a lot of 'em, and I know how stores work...mostly..but, the humans don't just shop all the time, right?"

"Well, they do whatever interest them. So you have the shoppers, but also people who go to work and school and home. There are movie theaters, plays, places to play sports, swim, faires, amusement parks, and restaurants to eat at. I've seen a few people do this but haven't done it myself. Also, TV helps." He had been watching a lot of TV in his room thanks to his TV and DVD player.
"They don't let animals inside places and they would mistake you as a cat. If we went inside, we would have to hide you in a bag or inside a hoodie." He thought.
"I don't think I could get you to be a cat that helps my health to allow you indoors." He knew Mauvians forged documents to allow corrupted senshi and officers a new identity. Maybe they could forget that documentation.

"I'm a travel size Mauvian," Chip said with a giggle, using a phrase he heard somewhere. "I'll bet I could fit in a hood easy, and peek out without anybody noticing!" That said, he looked thoughtful. "You mean like...papers that say that?" he asked. "Somebody mentioned that sort of thing to me, papers that they like to have outside negaspace, but I haven't done anything with it yet...I could figure out what goes on those papers, though~"

"Then that just leaves what you'd like to do or see. There is the aquarium. There are also museums but museums have security so we would have to be very careful letting you peek out."
He thought of other things. "There are movie theaters. They are dark so once the movie starts, you can just sit on my lap or something and watch. There are also restaurants but we would need to take our food to go and eat someplace else."
He didn't think a small kitten could do an amusement part. Without a belt, no magic would save him from flying off and to the ground below. They could do the small rides though.

"I've seen movies on computers before," Chip said thoughtfully. "What's it like in theaters?" He jumped down suddenly, to a little box near his still slowly spinning flying saucer thing, and thumped a spot with his paw. A glowing diagram appeared in the air above it...a slightly smaller version of the saucer. "Can you see the movie in 3D like this?" he asked, looking up hopefully.

"Loud. Big screen. Dark room. The sounds vibrated through you but you feel it. The screen is so big that sometimes you can't take all of it in bit it's good. You get lost in it. Though I haven't seen a lot of them. I usually watch them alone in my room on my TV."
His attention went to the Mauvian as he went down and saw the little hologram spring to life. He went over, kneeling down to wave his hand through the image. "No. They have 3D glasses but it's still a screen. Nothing like this."

"No?" Chip replied, sounding ever so slightly disappointed. "That's too bad...the sound part sounds cool, though! I'd like to see that!" He nodded quickly. "You should take me some time! I'll bet that'd be fun. And maybe it'd give me more ideas of things to invent!" He giggled at that. Inspiration struck from everywhere...and he could never follow every piece of inspiration he had. But he never knew when he might stumble upon the idea for the Next Big Thing, after all. And getting vibrated by the sound of a movie sounded like quite the time, to him.

"How about tomorrow. I come by and we go see a movie. Would you be okay with that? I'll let you pick what we watch." He said.
"Then we can grab some food before my glamour goes." He only hoped transporting a cat took a lot less energy then a person or else he would be wiped out.

"Tomorrow?" Chip echoed, and considered. "Yeah! I can do that! Where's the movie? I can meet you there. It's easier for you guys to not have to teleport back and forth all the time, right? How long's the glamor last, anyway?" He wondered if there was a way to make it last longer, too, but decided against saying that. While he was endlessly optimistic, getting hopes up wouldn't be very nice.
