The warrior just stood there, with a frown on his face. He didn't understand who in the hell that guy was, nor did he like his tone. He rubbed the blood from his face and went to the river to clean up. His mark started to fade away.

He had a mark on his hip. I didn't get a clear look at it, but I think he is one of the chosen. Once he reaches the barn he streaches out on some hay and begins to think. Could he be one of the chosen or was it just a scar.

Sun Li washed up and inspected his clothes. He cursed when he saw the hole on his left hip. "I don't want anyone to see this," he whispered softly. He got his meager money pouch out and shook it. The warrior started toward the town, hoping to buy a new pair of pants.

Restless Kyo left the barn to go try and make some money. He walked down an alley and up to some shady looking characters. "You youngn's got any money your willing to lose?" His voice is even lower and raspier than before.

Sun Li couldn't afford new pants, but he found a seamtress who was able to fix his pants. His mark safely hidden again, he started to wander around the village to see if any of the farmers needed some help.

The men in the alley just laughed and looked at each other. Kyo smirks as the men emptied their pockets out onto a barrel in the alley. "If you can beat the five of us the money is yours." The men circled him and charged in from five different directions. Kyo flipped backwards and knocked the back man out in a single punch. He took his stance and waited for the other four to make a move.
The four men just watched as their friend went down in one single punch. They looked at each other and ran out of the alley. Kyo walks over to the barrel and collects his money. He goes to place it in his cloak pocket and reailizes that he had left it down at the river. Great now I have to go back to the stupid river. Kyo walks out of the alley and turns back towards the river.

Sun Li, who was walking and looking up at the sky, ran right into Kyo. The warrior frowned, "By Suzaku, it's you again." He back off and turned to go the other way. He normally would have appologized to running into someone, he was still angry about having to fight for no reason. He was distant, but certainly not a lover of violence. His study of Tai Chi had taught him that. Maybe I should head for the Capital. Work is probably better there, all the farmer's fields sparse here anyway. Damn this heat... we're all going to die at this rate.

Kyo payed no mind to bumping into Sun Li. He was more worried about getting back to the river and getting his cloak back. Once at the river he retreived his cloak from the tree he had thrown it into. Maybe i'll head back to Kutou. At least the people there are a small challenge. I guess it was a mistake for me to come to Konan after all. He let out a small sigh as he jumped into a tree and began to think about where he should go next.

Kalie sat comfortably on the top branches of a large tree by the river where she had spent the night ( she found it best to sleep in places like this so she can relax and not have to sleep whith one eye open all the time ) she was daydreaming until she was interrupted by a man with white hair Oh, its him again humm I did not notice his cloak there she was still a bit annoyed at him for waking her up by starting a fight with that nice looking man ,and she was in the middle of a great dream too.
Kalie watched carefully as the man toke his seat in the tree oposite her Strange he seamed powerful he should have sensed my life force by now?! Oh well he must be tired .

Kyo looked over at the woman. He had felt her, but did not care. Man that fight acctually did work up a sweat for me. I guess i'll go clean up. Kyo leaps from his tree and to the edge of the river bank. He throws all his clothing up into the tree branch he had been relaxing in. He slowly walks into the cold river water naked. He had scars running up and down his entire body. Will these scars of battles past ever leave. He gently caressed a scar on his right forearm and payed no attention to any of the others. He layed down in the river and rested his head on the riverbank. He relaxed as the rushing water calmed him and slowly washed away everything.

Just then the guy looked at her Guess he did sense my life force
she sat and watched a the man striped of all he clothes wow what a getleman she thought sarcastically , and cursed her self for being a sucker for guys with scars .
The man layed down quietly in the river and said nothing If he wont bother me I wont bother him and she whent back to daydreaming .
