"Oh." Nix replied rather flatly, with a blink. "Ohhh...Yeah. Okay. Those guys are agents of the Negaverse," He wondered who picked that name. Surely it wouldn't have been them, but it sure seemed like it. "I guess they are kinda like vampires, aren't they? They can, uh...do some pretty nasty things." He considered not saying the next part, but figured she probably needed to know, so pressed on, speaking carefully. "Like turn people into monsters like that," he gestured toward where the 'corgi' was, "Or kill them by pulling out the starseed and..." he made a hand gesture like squeezing a sponge. It was not a happy thing to think about by any means. "I get the impression most just do the vampire thing, though..." Epine de Rose There was more for Nix to reply to, but that seemed like a heavy enough statement to leave it as its own thing.

"They're not the best welcoming party to meet in a dark alley," she agreed with a wry smile.
"Here's the thing though," she took a breath. "I'm kinda aiming to...stop it?" she shook her head. "I mean I can't right now but I figured if I can get strong enough and be enough of a nuisance then I can make it a huge nuisance to go to certain areas," she placed her hands on her hips and gave a gusty sigh.
"Except if I can't even beat that thing then I don't stand much chance against something more coherent," she pointed out. Quite frankly, any individual or entity that could hold a conversation with her was likely to beat her to a bloody pulp unless they, by sheer fluke, were as miserably new to this whole thing as she was.
"So I guess I'm gonna need to learn more than just jumping up to the top of buildings," she murmured. "But it's a start, right?"

“I hope we all aim for that, honestly,” Nix replied. “I know that’s what I want to do.” He tapped his chest as he said that. “I’m planning on trying to get as many Senshis and knights together as I can to, uh...” He shrugged a little. “You know, work together more, so people aren’t feeling lost and confused, and maybe so we can be a little more coordinated in dealing with the Negaverse. It’s sorely needed, I think.” “Learning to jump across buildings is definitely a start, though!” He concluded, sounding more cheerful again. Epine de Rose I really am planning on a mini-event of that nature, although it needs staff approval still, and specific timing. Stay tuned, though~

"Well it's not like we can do anything to them right now," she wrinkled her nose. "They seem to actually have people in charge while we just sort of wing it, it's like walking the wrong way up an escalator," she murmured. She wasn't completely aware of how everything was meant to work but given she hadn't even gotten a solid induction and some reasonable introductory training... It was clear that their side was sorely lacking.
If they were winning anything, it must be down to luck.
"If you can figure it out I'll be there," she smiled. "I'm not great but hell when I smile people feel better?" she grinned. "But it'll cost you, you're gonna have to teach me some of the ins and outs of this so I don't end up getting in the way."Tolin Kalin Sweet, right up her alley so she'll be there!

"Sounds about right," Nix said, sounding a bit disappointed at the truth of it. "Arthur told me he'd send any new senshis to me, but I dunno that any of the other cats specifically will." He shrugged. "Either way! I'm more than happy to teach you everything I know!" He thumped his fist into his palm. "And I can start whenever!"

"Well, we can find more and ask them to. You know your stuff so it'd make sense," she smiled encouragingly. As sucky as it was that the senshi didn't have a real way to organise themselves yet, that didn't mean that they couldn't try and if Nix was going to give that a whirl then she was willing to help him with that...Hell, they all deserved to be shown the ropes rather than being thrown to the world, right?
"And hey, how neat... Arthur was the one who found me," she grinned. "Evidently it was just fate that you found me before I got my a** handed to me, eh?" she paused briefly and glanced over her shoulder towards the alleyway. For now, it seemed like she'd had more than enough excitement for the day and she'd do Nix no favours by getting in his way this evening.
"How about tomorrow?" she said and turned back to him. "Now I've found you I don't want to waste the opportunity," she raised both eyebrows and then took a deep breath. "But I think maybe it's worth my while getting myself cleaned up and properly rested before you run me through my paces, eh?"

“Arthur’s a good guy,” Nix said with a grin. “He’s a bit scatterbrained sometimes, I think, but means well. And he’s a big help.” He nodded at that. “Anyway, sure, tomorrow works,” he agreed. “Better to approach this sort of thing rested..or at least not recovering from fighting a crazed magic dog monster. I think I know just the spot for it, too.” Nix provided a general location of where to meet up again in the near future. “Oh yeah, and don’t forget your senshi phone,” he reached to the side and pulled a bright green, somewhat oddly shaped, smartphone. He pointed it at her a moment. “You can add senshi contacts by taking their picture...then call ‘em later. Useful!” He flicked his wrist, and the phone was gone again. Epine de Rose Can probably end this after Adorea takes her leave. So, thanks for playing. biggrin Clearly, a follow-up RP for the training day will need to happen~

"Wait...that's how it works?" she sounded incredulous as she whipped out her phone and stared at it. Suffice to say that the phone wasn't modern, it was the older version of the phone and she clearly wasn't aware that it could be upgraded.
Following by example she lifted it up and pointed it towards Nix, blinking as it did indeed seem to process her request and add him to her very sparse list of contacts...actually he was the only one in there currently except for Arthur but she wasn't about to admit that. At least it would get more populated now, right? All she had to do was point at people!
"Sweet, then I'll see you then," she agreed and slipped her phone back into her glove; not exactly practical but she hadn't been introduced to her space pocket yet either. Baby steps, she'd get there with that too.
"Hopefully we'll get no more crazy dog things either," with that said the senshi gave a wave and slipped back into the alleyway she'd come from. Given the area was now safe, she could run down it without fear and return home without attracting too much attention.
She'd see him the following day and maybe, just maybe, she'd learn some of the more key elements of what she was supposed to be able to do!Tolin Kalin Yes, thank you so much! x3 I'd call this one done.
