Julienne paused and settled easily into his arms, beginning to purr softly. “No, Hisoka…you don’t need to work with others if you don’t want to. Senshi are stronger in teams and groups, but it’s not required. You have magic, and a lot of senshi magic is designed to work best in tandem with other senshi, but…you don’t have to follow that path…in fact…”

She sighed, rubbing his chest. “…You don’t have to do this at all if you don’t want to. I am very sorry for cornering you…I never…wanted to upset you.”

Finally the guardian just went limp in his arms. “I like fish. Salmon is my favorite, but I’ll eat anything…And I’ll give you all of the information that you need…and if you never want to see me again, I’ll understand…but just know, I’m going to try and watch out for you. You’re my senshi now, and you’ll always be my senshi. But if you don’t want to be a senshi…I’ll understand…”
And with that, Julienne buried her head against the male’s chest and fell quiet, though still quietly purred.

If he didn’t want to be a senshi…it wouldn’t be for her lack of trying…or her lack of caring. And she wouldn’t push him to it. Pushing people normally just drove them away. She did what she had to and awakened him. Anything else would be all his doing, and she understood that better than anyone.

All she could really do now was prepare him and watch over him. Be the guardian she was meant to be.
