Wait. His magic included... Actually licking things? Virginiaterese had to pause a moment to gather herself after hearing that. God, she hoped that was a joke. There was no way that licking your opponent was healthy, even if it made a good distraction. To do that as your sole means of magic, though, that seemed pretty horrible. It almost made her appreciate her magic more.
"I... Uh... Don't mean this to be offensive-" She began, blushing furiously. "But you don't actually lick your opponents, right? Like, physically, you. Licking them. That's what I mean."
She paused again at the question about her familiars and found herself drawing a complete blank. She'd... Never tried to get them to do anything else but heal her or appear for a short while. She did like summoning them just to pet them or praise them from time to time, but not much else. She pursed her lips.
"I could... Try summoning one if you'd like?" She offered, tapping her fingers together. "They only stay for a short while though, maybe half a minute. I'm not sure where I summon them from or where they go, but they never seem to mind when they come and go."

"Well, I mean," Nix hedged briefly. "I do lick people, but I have a magic frog tongue that appears and disappears. I don't, er, taste them." He looked off to the side briefly. "I wonder if I would if I tried...?" Then he shook his head. "That'd be weird." "Either way, you'll see soon!" He announced. They'd intended on having a bit of battle training, after all. "Oh! I'd love to see one!" Nix said happily. "It sounds really cool, so I'll bet it looks really cool, too!"

Virginiaterese's cheeks would have paled if she weren't already so nervous. The mere idea of licking as an attack, even if it were only magic, just didn't settle right with her. However, perhaps that was the point? Unsettling the enemy long enough to make them question if picking a fight was worth the trouble? That's the effect it would certainly have on her, that's for sure.
"O-oh! I see!" She stuttered, forcing herself not to make a face. Was a demonstration really necessary? She supposed it was, if they were training together, which they were... Ha ha ha. She'd have to work on steeling her nerves after this.
"Okay uh... Let's see..." She said, taking a deep breath and clutching a hand inward. She could do this, she could do this. It was only practice. "Boo-boo buddies!"
A brief moment of silence followed, where Virginiaterese held her stance, until a soft glow formed in her clasped hand and she released it. There, nestled in the palm of her open hand, sat a tiny ethereal frog with an ethereal, but rather comedic, bow wrapped around it's tiny head. Virginiaterese smiled toward it, though the sting of irony wasn't lost on her, and held it out so Nix could see it.
"Ta-da!" She exclaimed, laughing nervously. "It's probably a little confused because neither of us are hurt right now. They're one of my pocket sized healers!"
The frog croaked, appearing entirely indifferent to the position it's summoner had put it in, and rested it's gaze on Nix.Tolin Kalin HI. I know this rp has been sitting forever and I understand if you don't want to continue it, but I'm trying to get back into the swing here and I didn't want to leave this RPs unfinished if I could help it. ; w; (Sorry if double quote, I noticed a spelling error and forgot to add her attack info) (Power use 1/3 " Boo-Boo BuddiesIf Virginiaterése or one of her teammates should sustain a minor injury, she can summon one hand sized familiar to heal the wound. (Like a sparrow or a tiny frog) The wound can't be anything larger than the forearm or too deep, or the familiar won't be able to help.")

Nix's eyebrows went up slightly at the name of the ability, but he didn't say anything. He blinked once, and then the little frog was in her hand, and he leaned forward, reaching out a gloved finger to gently poke its bow. "Oh wow, that's so cute!" he declared with a grin. "What's it do to heal? And, uh...can I hold it?" He looked back up at her face, still grinning. "This might surprise you, but...I really like frogs. They're the best." Was he biased? Maybe. Probably. Bouquet of Diamonds Life happens, I understand completely! biggrin I'm always happy to pick up and finish RPs.

Virginiaterese rubbed the back of her head sheepishly. It was pretty cute, wasn't it? She wasn't exactly the most devout of frog lovers, but she had to admit that she was very fond of the ones she could summon. How could she not love them, honestly, they came with giant bows and made wounds disappear. It was just painfully ironic that she'd summoned a frog in front of the literal senshi of frogs. The universe had it's little, loving ways of trolling her.
"Uh, I'm not sure, actually." She replied, arching a brow at her tiny companion. She'd been the only person to hold them so far, and they usually didn't stay for very long. However, she knew that they could heal others, so they had to be able to touch other people. She offered the frog out to Nix. "See if they'll hop to your palm?"
The frog, however, had other ideas. It stared at Nix as he poked it's bow and, with one quick motion, hopped straight onto his head. Virginiaterese couldn't help but break out into laughter.
"Or, that. That'll work." She said, covering her mouth. "I guess they like you? Usually if you're injured they're really quick with figuring out where the injury is and kinda... Press themselves into it until they fully disappear again? It's like they use their entire body just to heal you and go back to wherever they're summoned from. This one will probably disappear soon, too."
