Nubi actually let out a little laugh. Here she thought she was doing well. It seemed like she had just been pitted against weaklings up to this point. Her kick did nothing, maybe if she squinted enough she saw the Agent sway just a bit. This was definitely going to be it. She was simply way too outmatched for the other girl.
The punch to her gut caused her to double over on the ground. It was hard to even catch her breath and the match was called. Good, she certainly couldn't take anymore. The worst part wasn't even the defeat. It was knowing her General was watching and she had failed. Failed miserably at that.

Corrupt Sailor Starr
The battle ended and Starr waited until pleasentries were exchanged before kicking Quinnie and letting the man know, "Lyon won." He added before going down and waving the wild maned woman over.
"Good job Lyon!" He brought his tablet out, "I made some notes on some things I noticed while you were fighting, but overall, you were a sheer powerhouse." Had the other senshi used magic, perhaps there might've been a difference but....
He was often told that senshi were not on par physically with Lieutenants. "Since you are moving to the next round, I suppose I will have to, too." He sighed. He hoped if he did, he didn't have to fight the wild maned woman.
"Quinnie fell asleep again."

Lieutenant Lyonsite"Good match." Lyonsite said down to the corrupt. "But hey uh---maybe less flirting and coy tactics, next time?" She tilted her head. "I'm all for having fun and stuff---but not when it interferes with what you need to do, yeah? You'll get it though! Keep at it!" The lieutenant shifted her attention to her friend and team mate as he came closer and waved her over. Lyonsite was grinning brightly again, and she jogged over to Starr. "D'awww, thanks, Baby Starr!" She laughed, because of course he took notes. "You'll have to tell me in-between the matches." She replied, and reached out to ruffle the top of his hair. "Of course you gotta make it to the next round! Your father is hoping you do." Lyonsite laughed again, eyes creasing at the corners in merriment. "Geeze, Starr, could you imagine if Penikisite was here, and if we all had to go against each other at some point?" A pause. "Why am I not surprised Quin did." She shook her head a bit. "That lump will catch up eventually."

Lieutenant Quintinite
Quintinite had indeed fallen asleep again, five seconds after he mumbled something along the lines of "Peni's at a conference" to Starr's question about where he had been. He was now sitting slumped against the ring posts beside the other, mouth slightly open, happily zonked out.
At least until he was kicked.
Rudely.
"Who's a lump now?"

A hand set on Mali's shoulder as the half-youma moved down the seats and sat down next to the senshi. Setting his hands in his lap, he watched with Keen interest at the fight and glanced at the brother. "Your sister has a interesting fighting style. She could do with some sparring lessons though." It commented as the senshi on stage tried to sweet talk and dodge away from trouble. The shoe toss had been a way to cause a distraction but she should have immediately followed up with a bunch while they dealt with the shoe.
The other officer was firmly built and took what Nubi gave in order to get close enough to swing. It watched till the last punch to the gut and breathed out.
"Pity. At least lessons can be learned. Come. Let's help her out." It rose and moved up and into the rink.
"You fought well, Nubi."

Cavansite's arrival was unwelcomed, as it always was, but of course, 'Mali said nothing of this. He kept his gaze on the fight, her presence putting him on edge.
"So far so good..." He muttered simply, leaning a little further forward to better watch the fight.
What use was random advice like that? Was the shouting not distracting? Shouldn't their General know better? Of course, he ignored the fact that only moments ago he had called out as well.
Throughout the course of the fight, he watched the sheer physical difference between Senshi and Lieutenant play out, just as it always did. They weren't as strong, or as fast... Even magic took time to cast and it seemed like there just wasn't enough time.
Mali jumped slightly at the sudden hand on his shoulder, and he smiled with the utmost fondness at the man that joined him, patting his paws before looking back at the fight.
"I think you're right. If you have any teachers that aren't incredibly abusive or cruel, do let me know. I'd be happy to arrange some proper training for her..." But training wouldn't help right now. And sadly, it all ended with her failing.
Oh well, it was an experience.
"Right." There was no hesitating following Vivre down to where 'Nubi was at, ignoring the general that may or may not have followed behind. When they reached his twin's side, he helped her up with a surprising amount of gentleness and offered her a kind smile.
"I'm proud of you. I'm sure you did your best. Let's get you resting up, alright?"

Her eyes were stinging, both from the pain and the disappointment she felt for failing so miserably. It was Vit's voice she heard first and with it she took a chocked up breath and told herself to stop the tears. She took a moment to wipe the tears with her right and then looked up at him.
"Thanks Vitie. I appreciate it." Though, she knew things could have gone a lot better. She barely put a dent into her opponent. That was the worst blow of all. Then her brother was at her side as well and without a word she reached out a hand so he could help her open. It hurt and standing on her leg was shaky at best. Did the woman really have to toss her around like that? It was like being treated like some rag-doll, but Cavansite had warned her thing would be tough.
"Too bad my best wasn't good enough." It wasn't like Nubi to bring herself down. It was a rare sight to see, but at least Mali was trying to cheer her up. "Anyone see me shoes? I lost track of them at some point." She didn't regret abandoning them during the fight, it would have been worse if she tripped over her own feet at some point.
"I'm suddenly in the mood for some cheesecake.' She joked, laughing a bit. Trying to put herself in a better mood as her brother helped her out of the ring.

It considered it a moment. "Could always train together. Improve as we go." It suggested before moving on.
As Mali handled his sister, It moved to find her shoes. One was on the side of the rink where she took it off but the other she threw was more illusive. Hoping off the stage, it looked under the stands before it found the shoe. Picking up the heel, it looked both between it's claws and made its way back over.
Gesturing to a chair it knelt and set both shoes down for Nubi to slip back into.
"You best is as best as you can give. These tournament aren't about winning. They are about seeing where you stand and what you can improve on. Better here with the safety of your friends and agents then when it really could be the end. You did good. Flirting might work with some senshi and knights and you followed up with attacks." It pointed out.
"Practice will help."
