We can try and remind him, if he will listen to us. He just has to remember that it takes many people to keep a weyr running. And yes, I thought you might notice. Consider this your notice to keep an eye out for me rising, my handsome bronze,Jaseth replied coyly.

Let's remind him. I think he listens to me, but you are his mate's dragon. If you tell him his mate feels one way, he will do it to keep his mate happy. At least, that was how Gereth felt when Jaseth asked him to do something. He had to keep her happy so she'd let him fly her again. A notice?! But when would she be rising?! He didn't want to be the last bronze to show. Not again.
"He would. I think I would be upset too, weyrwoman," R'yn teased. "I love you, very much you know."

Well, you are his dragon, I would certainly hope he listens to you. Hmm, I suppose that is a good point, I could better get him to realize how Mine feels about him overworking himself. Granted, we take up a lot of their time too,Jaseth smiled, nuzzling him gently.

I think you could. Yours makes mine worry by overworking herself, and mine makes yours worry by overworking himself. But if we could get him to realize that he worries yours... the bronze trailed off, effectively distracted by Jaseth's affection. He returned her nuzzle. We do. We could make them relax.

Yes, they act like they have the whole world on their shoulders. Yes, what they do is very important, but they have so many people to help them. And we could try and get them to relax, at least for a day, hopefully,Jaseth agreed. She felt his nuzzle and nuzzled him once more, knowing he enjoyed it.

They do. It's unfortunate. I know their jobs are important, but I worry. They seem to forget that they have those people to help them. Mine does. He takes most of the work upon himself, and only later remembers that Ash'il exists.
"I know. But..." He'd become Weyrleader young. He wanted to prove his worth, make sure the Weyr knew he wasn't in charge only because his dragon had flown Demanthra's. "I'll try to remember."

Mine knows they exist, but sometimes likes to do things herself, so others do not have to be bothered. However, I do reassure her that they want to help make her life easier. And you would think he would remember about Ash'il, considering he is Mine's older brother,Jaseth responded.
"I would appreciate it, love, for both of our sakes. Don't worry, I take too much on myself too, but I know we have a whole Weyr that can help,"Demanthra spoke.

Yours is too considerate of others, and Mine forgets that they are there. We can remind them both! Then they will remember that they are there and that it is their job to help them. The bronze snorted at his mate's words. You would think so. Mine forgets so often that I think he's doing it on purpose sometimes.
"We have a whole weyr to help," R'yn echoed and placed a kiss on Dea's cheek. "No more talk of work," he said. "We're taking a well deserved break."

Yes, mine is definitely too considerate, but she does mean well. And I like that idea, of reminding them, so that they remember to ask for help when they need to. Oh goodness, I do hope he doesn't do it on purpose. You know how much Mine loves her siblings,Jaseth reminded.

He forgets so often I think that he must. But perhaps not. He knows how important Yours’ clutchmates are to her. They’re important to him too. Oh look! They’ve decided to relax without us intervening. That was a first.

Yes, they mean a lot to her, so I would think he is just so stressed that he forgets. It would make sense, hard to think when you are feeling the weight of the world on you. And oh, I am impressed they are resting,Jaseth spoke, her eyes a bright blue.

Jaseth's words made sense. His often felt like the weight of Pern was on him, and despite Gereth's reminders that it was not all of Pern, simply one Weyr, nothing seemed to assure him. Me too, he said. Maybe this will be a change for the better. If they become better at resting, we will not have to worry so much. I was thinking we might have to take them to an island and refuse to leave until they rested enough. That thought wasn't completely out of the question, though. What if they overworked themselves again?

Well, maybe they are picking up on our worry and decided it would be best. Whatever the reason, as long as they rest every so often, we shouldn't have to do anything drastic. Let's just see how it goes, hmmm?Jaseth suggested.

Jaseth was probably right. They were probably picking up on their dragons’ concern and resting. We night have to remind them regularly. The bronze didn’t really mind. As long as they were happy and rested...
Do you think we can spend time together and rest as well?

Don't worry, they will pick up on it when we are worried they are not resting enough. I can be very persuasive when I want to be. And yes, of course we can rest too. That is a silly question,Jaseth replied.
