'Nubi helped wipe away the tears on her friend's face, gently, still very aware of the White Moon Senshi that stood next to them. It wouldn't take the red-head long though to get the message that she wasn't really wanted around. Sure, she had given some words of comfort, but this wasn't really a moment for company.
A real smile spread across her face at Peru's words. Honestly, if anyone told her she'd fall for someone like she had fallen for Peri, she'd call them crazy. Her whole life had been a series of flings and half-baked friendships. Her twin thought she had it all. Made friends easy and was the ultimate social butterfly. But that was all just a skill she had, a skill to make people like her or want her for a little while. In the end something would always scare them away. But not Peri. Not even after tonight.
"Well, thank you for letting me make you happy. And I promise to continue to make you happy." Curls would get through this, but she had no intention of rushing her through it either.
Peri might have just been looking for a gentle kiss, but 'Nubi leaned into it. Responding to her need for something more. This was something she was good at. It might only be a distraction for now, but it was a damn good one.
"How about me head to my place, put on a pot of coffee and talk? We can do some other stuff later, but I think we should just talk first." It might be hard at first, but 'Nubi didn't want her to just try and forget about Talia. That wasn't the right way to mourn.

Peri relaxed at ‘Nubi’s reaction and she gave a nod. That did sound…really good. Talking. Doing things after. Some kind of reward after getting through the hard part. The tears that she knew she couldn’t hide anymore. And perhaps…she didn’t really want to keep them hidden anymore either.
“That sounds…pretty good right now ah…” She looked around and gave a little frown, sighing. “…I’m so sorry that I lost us both our pretty prize and your first starseed…after we talk, I know I won’t be so weak to it, we’ll get you another one, my ‘Nubi…we’ll be amazing you and I…but maybe…”
Periclase hesitated and rested against her friend for a moment. “…Maybe we should just take them from skeezy people for a little while. Not beautiful girls who make me want to kiss them and take their energy. She would have looked so pretty swooning in our arms…and think of how much praise we would have gotten if we brought her in.”
It was a nice thought, almost a comforting one. “Let’s go back to your place. I want to spend tonight in your arms…thank you for not…for not judging me…You…are utterly amazing.”
And she meant every word.
…She wasn’t quite sure where she’d be right now if ‘Nubi wasn’t here supporting her.
And honestly? She didn’t want to think about it.
