A very exciteable cat - Order by the feel of him - all but barreled over Haymitch to talk to the Leopard. Leopard-sama, this one called him. He yelped and wiggled out from under Itsuki, shaking himself and readjusting his hat. His hat was still there at least. Thank goodness!
"I'm here for the catnip! Leopard is super big and I wanna be like him!" he repliled to the other cat, completely ignoring the honorifics and what had you. More Mauvians appeared out of the woodwork - not his Mama, sadly - and his butt wiggled with the excitement.
He looked up at Leopard with wide eyes. He was born this big oh wow. A fluffy cat near him scolded him for trying to climb the Leopard, and he tucked his head a little.
"Sorry..." said the kitten, ears folding a little. She was also a Chaos kitty - like his mama - but much more strict. He didn't know if he liked it.
Then something started to speak. Haymitch hissed, the fur on his neck standing on end and back arching. He slunk back as the creature came out of the wall. Or along the wall. It smelled intensely of catnip - he wanted to roll in it so badly - but the vibe of the youma sent his fur on edge.
He hung back as Leopard walked forward to sniff at the wall, and decided, after a long moment, that maybe he should follow and not get trapped here. The catnip smell was much stronger and he wanted to just lay against the wall forever.
But they had a job to do, so he found his way over the wall and into the yard. Haymitch sniffed about, but let the adults handle the stormdrain. At least at first.

Of course they would run to fight the thing. Of course they would. Never mind it clearly had a taste for feline flesh. And of course it smelled divine. Such was the nature of the world. Nothing nice ever lasted long, especially when it came to a bunch of mauvians just trying to convene innocently.
Still, Enyo gave Leopard's eye a curious look. He seemed quiet serious now of all things. He managed to jump and scale the wall easily enough- yet the small chaos mauvian pouted, having a feeling she'd need to put in a bit of extra effort in to her jump.
A small run and she fell a hair short, claws catching for a moment before he was forced to let go and try again. The second time, she did manage, though, one look at her claws- she would have to cajole one of those pesky agents to file them for her.
Over the garden wall, Enyo immediately ducked for the cover of brush, slinking towards the home to see if anyone was present. Unlikely, but being accosted by humans was the last thing she wanted.
It was pretty quickly evident that there was, well, something amiss here...Chip had just arrived late enough to miss it. He looked up and around, and what he saw was odd, to say the least. It was something he didn't understand, although it was clearly a bit off. While the really big cat seemed like he wasn't part of the Negaverse, it still struck the little kitten as a good idea to follow after. At the very least, he might get a better idea of what all this was.
All he had to do was to resist the urge to roll around in, and rub his face on, all the delightful smells around... And mostly stay out of the way of the bigger Maus, of course.

Obie certainly didn't like the idea of something roaming the city and catnapping her feline friends. Besides, she did want to figure out who the big Leopard guy was, she'd certainly never seen him before, maybe she could ask one of her fellow Maus along the way. She wanted to get to know them better as well anyway.
Thankfully the big fellow was very helpful to those a tiny bit too small to scale the walls. With his help, she was able to jump into the yard, bells ringing lightly as she landed and hopped out of the way of her fellow Maus.
It did smell quite delightful on the other side of the fence and she had to remind herself that she shouldn't make a fool of herself by running around all will-nilly. Even though she really wanted to. This was a serious situation. It was easy enough to follow the scent to it's source, but she also hung back a bit. Letting the more experienced Maus run the show for the time being.

Tama only understood small portions of the Japanese the leopard spoke to Itsuki. The word for ‘friend’. A name. His Japanese really needed some practice; he seemed to be loosing it more and more since he had last been to Japan.
When Leopard’s Eye addressed him, the be-speckled Mauvian thought about taking him up on the offer. Even he could be curious about the big cat as other stranger things began to happen...
If Tama was good at anything, it was seeing the larger picture and that picture was getting stranger by the minute even for the standards of a space cat talking to a dream cat in the middle of an oddly catnip-filled alleyway.
There was something watching them and it wasn’t shy about making its presence known. Here, kitty...
The older guardian cat’s ears flicked and his tail would have too had he had much of one. It was time to follow this... Leopard-sama.... or whoever he was. His gentleman’s questions and pleasantries would have to wait.
”Your city... well, I don’t know about that, but I do admire your confidence. You intrigue me.” Tama’s voice almost purred as he addressed Leopard’s Eye.
Yes, he wanted to know more about the large cat, but there seemed to be a much more pressing matter in the form of some sort of cat-snatching youma. Regardless of whose city it was, Tama couldn’t have such a thing roaming the streets and terrorizing the neighboring cats, magical or otherwise. So he, along with the other Mauvians, followed up over the wall as the smell of catnip led.
The small Haymitch was given an extra dose of watchful eye, the large feline nudging him gently with his snout once with a low purr. "Stay close if you like," he advised. Leopard’s tail flicked a few times, but any protest about Destiny City being ‘his’ fell on deaf ears as he sniffed about, careful to count all of the Mauvians on paw to make sure nobody had disappeared since the last time he’d checked on them.
Crossing the yard without even a careful glance up to make sure nobody home saw him (what were they gonna do? Call animal control?), he sniffed around the drain grate on the other side of the yard, pressing his face into it to no avail. There was an...obvious problem there: Leopard’s Eye was simply too big to fit into it more than shoulder-deep. So he shoved a paw in. Still nothing.
His tail flicked with irritation as he looked from the drain to those assembled again. It was obvious he didn’t want to ask.
