Hello and welcome to the guild! I’m not a mod but you should be good to claim your Cleffa. You only have to quote someone for this giveaway if you’re claiming a Fakemon because you have to ask the owner for permission (or a mod if the owner of a Fakemon you want to claim is currently inactive).

For giveaways like these, you don't need to ask permission for regular pokemon unless you aren't sure if it's okay to claim or not. So long as it meets the conditions of the giveaway and isn't a legendary or ultra beast, you just need to make a post saying what you're claiming from the giveaway and then it's yours! The reason people have been quoting mods and asking permission is because they're claiming fakemon, which does require the creator or a mod's permission even if it qualifies for the giveaway, just out of respect for the people who created them. owo

i think your fake Pokemon is really cool, sorry it took me so long to decide. can I have a lupup please? edit: Claiming a level 10 staryu for the event, and will get a lupup on the side since it's a common fakemon

They're also "common" so they can be claimed outside of events ( see the first post in the fakedex), if you wanted to use this event to claim something else
