To say that she was not nervous would have been a lie as Simoom waited palms damp with sweat, as a part of her wished that Kevin was there with them–
In fact calling it nervousness may even been something of an understatement, but Simoom knew that she had to do this - that she had to do her part.
After all Witzen was their city - was theirs to protect - and Simoom had to play her part too.
Besides it wasn't as if she was alone as she had been back at the Dormouse cafe - and Remit and Rose were both super strong - much stronger than she was–
But.. But it would have been nice to have Kevin - to have her friend (and kind of partner in crime) with her.
Dark eyes narrowed as Remit moved in to tackle a golden-eyed woman, giving the pink-eyed eternal a nod to let her know that she'd heard her - a nod that she wasn't sure that the other had seen - even as she balled up a fist and tried to swing at a rather smartly garbed man.
Super Ceraskia HP: 20 DMG: 7 (Split between Remit(3), Rose(2), and Simoom(2)).
The guard had dropped with very little effort and Ceraskia had a nice shiny energy orb for her troubles. With a pleased smile she sent it away before turning dark eyes on Minium and her gratitude, and her lips twitched, smile growing before the buzz of her tablet had her drawing the pen into existence to check what Aventurine had to say.
More trouble, and a request to regroup. It was probably a good idea, and considering the trouble the two lieutenants had gotten themselves into Ceraskia wondered if perhaps she should wrest control of the mission and take over leadership.
Still contemplating this she headed with Minium towards the rendezvous spot but she was saved from the potential power struggle by the sudden flare of order. She stiffened, half turning to search for the source before a blast of light staggered her back a step. And it burned. It burned across bare skin and through sheer fabric. A deep, penetrating burn that seemed to drill down to the bone, and the senshi shrieked, arms up in front of her face to shield it from the worst of the light.
Then it was over, and they were surrounded. Ceraskia's lips drew up in a faint snarl as she watched first one of her teammates take a heavy hit, then another. "That is enough!" This ended now.
There were two eternals and one basic that she could see and something else lurking out there that she couldn't. The latter she could do nothing about, but the former...she could definitely do something about that. She had to move quickly, tapping into that dancer's agility that came so easily to her to maneuver herself between the senshi.
And there she stood, a delicate hand coming up to press fingertips to her lips as she murmured her magic. "Quarrelsome Air." As she cast that arm out wide at the senshi attacking them she grinned back at them, chin high and dark eyes bright.

Things went to hell far more quickly than Aventurine would have liked. Regrouping had turned out to be a terrible idea, because it meant that they were together. Which had made them easier to target.
The hearts burned even through the thickness of his long coat and he'd raised his arms as if they could shield him too late.
When hazel eyes blinked, he saw that they'd been surrounded and that they were outclassed by the senshi who'd arrived. It took time for his relatively fresh senses to discern how bad the difference was and in that time, the fiesty redhead took a nasty hit.
Teeth grit and he'd attempted to move as Ceraskia cast magic and found himself stopped by a small green-haired girl. In his reactive nature, she had caught him off guard and Aventurine caught a fist to his jaw.
A little stunned, he tried to shove back.

For Ceraskia's Magic: In order to use her Basic attack she must roll 3+ higher, lasts 2 turns and the target's attack is turned towards an ally In order to use her Super attack she must roll 6+ higher, lasts 2 turns and the target's attack is turned towards an ally
The initial roll DMG will be split among targets for super.
We're focusing on the physical twisting of her magic in order to streamline the battle, but you are absolutely allowed to play emotional warfare on each other as well! ))

Well, that was not what she was expecting. Even as the senshi approached her, Minium didn't consider that this was a one on one that she would lose so poorly. She raised her hand, ready to swing a weighted plastic hoop at the woman's face, only to stumble backwards as a hard foot smashed into her abdomen. The breath in her lungs exhaled on a force and she drew a ragged, panicked gasp that didn't refill them quickly enough. <********, but it hurt.
Her unclothed knee collided with the ground and she grit her teeth around a hiss, stars dancing in her vision. This was not how this was supposed to go. Another deep breath and the lieutenant narrowed fierce eyes at the woman looming above her. A hand was still wrapped tightly around her hula hoop and she pushed herself up quickly, spinning into step and bringing the back of the weighted plastic down hard against whatever part of Remit she could reach.
She would not be made useless.

At first Rose had been pleased, they caught a gaggle of negaverse agents that they must've missed when they had taken out the initial group here in their city.
His fingers tingled from the after effects of his magic and he ached to use them again but he was waiting, trying to hold back and listen to Remit's instructions. It seemed practical, they had caught them snooping and they had to be handled.
But then...that woman, the one sending off bad alarm bells in his head had blown a kiss, a magic kiss...What did--
"Well maybe we could if you'd talk less!" He snapped, turning his attention on his fellow eternal and swatting at them.
The hoop actually hurt, a bit, but Remit had already turned on her heel to stare at Feathers -- was that magic? That couldn't be right. She must have heard it wrong. What was she - who was she -
It felt like blinders, a little, and suddenly she was so spiteful at Rose she could barely stand it. He couldn't even ambush right, what kind of example was he setting for Simoom, how the hell were any of them still alive with this kind of work -- "Excuse me for not being a ******** mute!" He thought that was an attack? She'd show him an attack --
It felt like the easiest thing in the world to punch him in the face, so she did, almost as hard as she could manage. Something might have broken.
A part of her hadn't expected the punch to hit quite so well, but it had, the blow a relatively solid one to the jaw and while the other had tried to shove back at her in retaliation, Simoon had been able to dodge to the side.
A part of her wondered if Kevin would be proud of her and then she reminded herself to focus - reminded herself that she could just let Kevin know what happened after all of this - because her friend was sure to want to know.
"...Air"
Dark eyes widened slightly from beneath her glasses, lips tilting down in a frown–
Was that..?
Unknown to her the magic washed over her, dark eyes narrowing as she caught sight of Remit, Simoom stomping away from the smartly garbed man who she had only moments ago punched and over to the Eternal senshi as indignant annoyance flitted across her face.
Who did the pink-haired senshi think she was?! Who did she...
Even as the annoyed thoughts flitted across her mind, Simoom's hand was rising and swinging out towards the stronger senshi in an attempted slap.
The super had stepped back after the magic had been cast and her grin lingered on as she took just a brief moment to watch the senshi turn on each other. Her magic was an insidious one, turning ally against ally, friend against friend in ways that would linger well after the magic itself had faded away. The first time she'd used it it'd seemed just a little barbaric, but now Ceraskia adored it.
Two of the senshi had turned their anger on one of the eternals, and Minium had done the same. If they could eliminate one of them it'd level the playing field considerably.
"All on her," she tossed back to the lieutenants with her as she strode back into the melee on delicate, dainty feet. She looked like a porcelain doll, something that'd break at the slightest brush, but she moved the grace and confidence of someone that was more than familiar with a physical fight.
When she twisted there was a dancer's grace to it, but the kick she threw at the eternal senshi's stomach had perfect form and practiced follow through.

Getting to see Ceraskia's magic at work was almost incredible, though Aventurine wouldn't voice that. Seeing the senshi suddenly turn their attention on each other, bickering and fighting and well...ganging up on the one that seemed to hit the hardest...
He was almost tempted to just sit back and watch the magic work.
But, the lieutenant wasn't willing to look like a slacker so when the senshi who'd punched him in the jaw passed, he made a grab for her and tried to yank on her hair.
The attempt was there, but the effort was not.
They'd probably destroy themselves anyway.

If Minium had thought less of Ceraskia before she was starting to come around. Her magic flared and suddenly, inexplicably, this didn't all look quite so hopeless. It was too much for her to dare to hope that they could maybe escape or, hell, even win.
But she was.
Even with the stabbing pain in her lower ribs that she suspected meant a break, she was smiling, almost laughing as they senshi menace turned upon itself and began bickering like the fools that they were. The hoop in her hand twirling, spinning around her wrist, and then she launched it on an up swing so it went hurtling towards Remit once again.
(Rose HP: 28/40 (i forgot to take the initial damage whoops) DMG:16 - 8 = 8 to Remit
Rose didn't know what he was most mad about, the fact that Remit hit him or that the whole situation was blowing up around him.
It took a second for him to realize that he'd been punched in the face until he was flat on his a** with blood pouring from his nose.
"Well excuse me for not being a bossy b***h," he snapped, head spinning from the force of the hit before he was spring up and tackling the other eternal
Without the touch of Ceraskia's magic, Remit might have been a little more practical, might have reserved any anger she felt towards her teammates for hissed conversations at half-light when nobody who might take advantage could hear them or see them at all; now, though, she was bloodied and shaking and staggering, shaking her hair out of her eyes, and when Rose tackled her to the ground she lashed out wildly.
As hits went, it wasn't nearly as hard as the last one.
Sailor Simoom HP: 22/25 Damage done: 8 - 4 = 4 to Rose
It was perhaps as well that she kept her hair so short - not as short as Kevin - but certainly not long, the yank to green curls stinging, but not quite as painful as it mayhaps would have been had she kept her hair longer.
It was not enough to turn her from her anger, or to stop her continued movement towards Remit, although narrowed dark eyes turned to Rose as he tackled the other eternal, her hand swinging out to try and slap him as well.
"...And you..." the seething annoyance, was so very different to her normal self, the anger visible in her gaze "Stop interfering."

targeting Rose - hope it was okay to play with the all allies aspect of the magic and attack him this turn
She'd been counting slowly in her head and as the last few seconds of the magic ticked away the petite senshi stepped away from the brawling ambushers with a look of disdain. They'd had the upper hand, but they lacked the teamwork and planning the dancer was used adhering to.
Her own temporary team was not exactly better, but they were at least chaos and that placed them a step above the other three. And even Minium had shown unexpected brutality.
Dark eyes flicked between the three senshi as she watched for signs of the magic fading as as she saw it she smiled coldly at them, chin tipped up heels together. "What a squabbling pack of heathens. Is that anyway to treat your teammates?" It was chiding, biting, but she was lifting a hand again, lips splitting in a deadly grin as she brought her fingers up to kiss the tips for a second time.

The bickering turned into squabbling and for a hot moment, Aventurine thought that maybe they wouldn't have to do anything at all. At the rate the trio of senshi were going, they would take each other out and that would be the end of it.
Of course there was always that weird, fourth aura that was lurking, slipping in and out of his senses and he couldn't quite place what it was.
Maybe that was something worth being concerned about.
As it was now?
Well, he figured he might as well contribute to the fight on the ground and gave the closest senshi (on the floor Remit) a nice hard kick.
