Emilia Asher / Lt. Jadarite

Emilia's previous travels had always been within road trip distance. She'd been up and down the East Coast a few times, but never on an airplane, or to another country. It was part of why she'd been excited to be chosen for the mission.

It was a rush, and it was also a rush to see the sheer power the Negaverse had for this kind of thing. Even though her job was working with their civilian resources, and she knew it was Chase's specialty as the head of AI, she was not expecting the bought-out plane, or the most beautiful hotel she'd ever seen, let alone stayed at. It left her head spinning, which possibly had something to do with the fact that she'd been changing altitudes so much that her ears kept bubbling and that she hadn't slept in nearly twenty four hours.

That first night of curling up in expensive sheets was heaven.

The next morning came too early, even with the cute room service breakfast. It was back to reality as she walked into the meeting room with her to-go cup of the local breakfast tea. As she scanned the faces of those who had gotten there before she had, she noticed that everyone looked tired, one of them sick, and a few almost grimly serious. She also noticed that she barely knew anyone here.

There was one familiar face from work, which was who she found herself heading over towards when she went to take a seat. She nodded at Cerissé and her friend. "Good morning."

Sheldon shot him the dourest look he could muster through the ever unruly tufts of vibrant red hair hanging down over his face. Here he was, Mr. Captain with his bright ******** chipper demeaner and super punchable grin. If he didn’t love the a** so much, he’d kill him. “Gee, you know, it never occurred to me as I was staring into the mirror and questioning all of my life choices up until this point that I looked like a ******** b*****d child of Christmas. Thanks for letting me know, Chrissy, don’t know what the the ******** I’d do without you.”

It felt less awkward at least not that other people were here. He wasn’t super keen on being alone in a room with Chase when the room hadn’t stopped moving yet. Guy was intimidating enough as it was. Might eat him or something.

“If you think I’ve seen much beyond the porcelain walls of my ******** toilet, you really are hilarious.”

London James / Lt. Minium

It hadn't been hard to convince London to join the cause. She never shied from her duties as a lieutenant and, while she wasn't the most profitable soldier in the good general's employ, she never told him no when he had a request. She liked to think that sort of unerring loyalty (though maybe foolish) made her a great asset even if she was a bit of a wildcard when eyes weren't on her. Coupled with the fact that she hadn't been to England since she was very young, she was all too thrilled to revisit her birthplace.

It didn't mean she was thrilled to be up already though. In her timezone, it was still 4 AM - she had stayed up too late and slept too poorly from the buzz of her own excitement. When she entered the room, she wasn't half so polished as all the other perfect, at attention agents in their civilian guises. She recognized none of them, but that was fine, she was pretty used to being a stranger in the crowd.

She had gotten up early enough to put a messy side braid in her fiery hair, paired with a band tshirt, some high waisted jeans, and a pair of combat boots that clunked against the hotel floor and left scuffs in her wake that she knew the hotel staff was probably in a tizzy over. If she hadn't been so tired, she would have laughed.

The tiny woman was through the conference room door with a bright purple can clutched in one hand, her phone in the other; she only spared Chase a weak, false smile that was more accusing than endearing, and flopped into the oversized conference chair closest to the door. The can settled on the table top without a thought for a coaster, displaying the [Relentless] label across the front as beads of condensation dripped down and threatened to stain the wood.

One leg tucked under her body, the other set her thick sole on the table top, and she slouched comfortably while she waited for the meeting to start. Her phone was up in a second as she began scrolling through Instagram.

Caleb Desrosiers/Eternal Carnelian

Cerissé might have been trying to keep her nervousness under wraps. Maybe. Caleb could tell there was a certain amount of uncomfortable tension whilst on the plane, though he did his best to ooze into the seats for a good nap whenever he had the chance. England wasn't somewhere he'd been before, but overseas travel in and of itself wasn't unknown to him. Whenever Cerissé gripped the armrest a little too tightly, the redhead had to reach out and boop her on the nose.

No need to be too nervous. After all, General Labyrinthite was in charge of the mission. The man knew was he was doing.

After a good night's sleep tucked in high thread count sheets and an encouragingly bountiful breakfast and coffee, it was off to the races. And by races, it was the conference room on the other side of the hotel. The General, from what Caleb understood, was a man who ran a tight ship. Definitely not one to annoy by any stretch of the imagination. Sipping his coffee, the redhead replied, "I hope we don't have to get too dirty in all this, but did you happen to see the tubs in the rooms, darling? Divine. Simply divine." He looked forward to a good soak after a mission that he assumed would be taking a while.

At least Labyrinthite made sure they were well cared for in the meantime.

While the two of them stepped into the conference room ten minutes early (gotta look good for the boss, after all!), another young lady made herself known. Wasn't she one of the newcomers? Labyrinthite might have thought this a good mission to get their feet wet, the newbies. With a bow of his head and a charismatic smile (he'd had enough coffee by now), Caleb introduced himself.

"It's a pleasure, Miss. I'm Caleb. How did you sleep last night? Was the plane ride comfortable?"

Damien Forsberg || General Katiite

Damien was not spectacularly enthused with the niceties of this hotel.

It was flashy, it was luxurious, it was most definitely owned or at least influenced by the Negaverse, but if he saw one more of the attendants smile at him like they had come out of Get Out and this might have actually been The Sunken Place--

Mm.

It was also, in general, a bit too nice for him. As someone who preferred efficiency, he also tended to prefer hotels that were, well, streamlined. A simple bed with a bathroom would have sufficed. The bed was almost too comfortable. He would have preferred something harder, honestly, or perhaps something that had been more obviously worn down instead of likely changed out every six months or so. On top of the jet lag, he had spent most of the night rolling back and forth, waiting for the sleep that had never come.

It had left him in an extraordinarily grouchy mood that morning, and when one of the chipper attendants tried to give him breakfast, he asked for an entire pot of coffee, glugged it all down, shoved it back at them, and practically stomped his way down to the meeting.

But when he stepped into the room itself, he put on a practiced smile, nodded in the direction of Chase, and sat himself down towards the back of the conference table.

He had no real interest in sitting near the conversation, anyway.

Iliel Vandal // Capt. Boleynite

Finally.

Finally finally finally.

She plotted and wiled and bent and slaved and toiled and tortured and waited for this moment. This opportunity. This one chance to see one of the officer's she'd known about, read about, since her first days as a lieutenant. Since that first week when her then-captain opened the doors to the central database area in Negaspace, where those great old computers were built into the walls and frontloaded with everything about everyone in the Negaverse. She couldn't access all of it at the time, not even with her superior's credentials keyed in, but she spent that first day reading for hours.

Soon that became a hobby of hers — poring over details upon details of her fellow officers. She'd learn their names, their faces, the highlights of their servitude to Metallia. Soon she knew many lieutenants who joined within a month of her. Then she learned captains and supers. Then generals and their eternal counterparts. Sovereigns beyond that. Then, after a solid month, she developed her favorites.

These were the ones she watched relentless — the ones who earned her respect without ever meeting her. And it was these officers and senshi whose missions she watched for, always hoping her own credentials matched up enough to warrant entry. It felt like she spent an age carefully curating her decision making to earn in rank, to grow and change and become the officer needed for one of those missions.

And now, finally, she joined one. She had that heart-stuttering opportunity to meet one of these living legends. Iliel Vandal would not squander it.

Nor would she let her ex-classmates squander it for her. In she marched, dressed for a business event, all greys and rose pinks and pinstripes with fitted, tailored attire, with a pleated skirt that spoke more of her age than her face did, and heels high enough to earn her some notice. She took each step in those bow-bedecked deathtraps with care until she sat herself down next to Sheldon — and as far from ******** as she could.

Her fingers itched toward her pocket, lightly bowed with its contents. "Ignore that ********. Hasn't made anything of himself since High School — got right worse since. Here," she dug around in that pocket, plucked a thin wafer and handed it out between manicured, gel-embellished nails. "Vanilla mint. Should help with the stomach, maybe clean you up a bit. ow both of you pipe down before Chase notices us and decides to hang us for senshi bait."

December Bloom/Lieutenant Fettelite

I'm not supposed to be here... I'm not, I'm not... From the moment December found himself inside of a taxi heading towards the airport, that's all that rang in his mind. There wasn't much of a notice either. His General summoned him to his office, explained a mission overseas in the vauguest of terms, shoved a passport into his hands and told him to go pack what little s**t he had and then get ready to go. Only a moment passed after he clicked closed his suitcase that the General summoned him to his side again, this time infront of a cab and shoved him right inside.

Everything from that point was a blur. There was a few moments of clarity during the flight, when turbulence shook his very core, as brief as it was. A weight in his stomach seemed go grow heavier and heavier with the realization that he might not make it home.

Even now, as he made his way to the meeting place and took a seat off to the side, December tried to convince himself that this was a dream, that he really wasn't here and was home, having some sort of awful nightmare while dozing off on his brother's couch.

... Sadly, no such luck, as people began to filter in, ones he recognized from the plane, but no one he had talked to yet.

Normally, sure, he would be the little social butterfly, laughing and joking, and maybe making friends with the staff, and he really really wanted to. But this wasn't just strange people he'd never see again, these were people he were to work with... And yet he couldn't open his mouth at all, or turn his gaze up to anyone. So he simply sat there, quiet for now, and hoped there was something he could do and not be found out as the fraud he was.

Captain Abernathyite | Christopher Woodward

"Probably died by now," he countered seamlessly, grin broadening insufferably. "And thank you." He was absolutely hilarious and he knew it, he didn't need Sheldon to point it out to him.

But any and all teasing on his part slowed to a halt as he noticed Ilieal make her entrance in a little pinstriped power suit set and a pair of deadly heels that made her a** look fabulous. When he realized he was staring he shook his head and flashed her one of his most charming grins, only to have it falter as she took the seat on Shelly's other side and proceeded to tear into them--mostly him--verbally.

With as hot as she was it was really ******** easy to forget how big of a b***h she could be.

"You've got a funny recollection of things, Illy. I'm pretty sure it was me that got promoted first." They'd been recruited barely a month apart, and beating her to captain was still a proud moment for him. Little miss over achiever.

"Anyways, where's Mac?" If Ilieal was going to be a pain in the a** while they were here, fine.

Mackenzie Taylor // Lt. Vanadinite

It was the timezone change that did it for Mackenzie. Normally she'd have been the first person in the boardroom, eagerly sitting next to the person in charge, ready to take notes and be as involved as possible. But here and now with dark circles under her eyes from lack of sleep.. she was on time, which meant she may as well be late. When she stepped foot into the room, coffee clutched in one hand, it took every ounce of self-control not to groan when she saw that Sheldon, Topher and Iliel had all arrived before her.

Great.

Tapping a nail against the porcelein mug, she pursed her lips and considered her options- sit across from them and avoid the situation entirely or be the bigger person and join them. Unfortunately for her sanity, Kenzie was always about being the bigger (and better) person, so she inhaled deeply and ventured to their direction. Something about Illy's well put together everything had Mackenzie self-consciously brushing hot pink hair away from her eyes and smoothing her cardigan over the navy blue tunic-like shirt she wore over plain black leggings.

"Good morning," she murmured to the trio, being as professional as possible as she took a seat next to Topher. She took a long drink of coffee before setting her mug down and finally making eye contact with the three of them, offering a look of apologies to her cousin- both for the air sickness and particularly for having to endure Topher's s**t.

Sheldon Hampton || Lt. Finklelite

Immediately, if she allowed it, one of those perfectly manicured hands would be caught up between Sheldon's own as he gave a downright pitiful, but no less bright, smile. "There's my girl. Can always count on you to save the way. You know you've always been my favorite, right? Remind me to marry you when this is all squared away, yeah?" Of course, he was kidding - it wasn't the first or last time something like that had happened.

He immediately popped the wafer into his mouth and gave a sweeping roll of his eyes. "If this turns into a captain pissing contest again, I swear, I'll scream. I'll do it." He wouldn't.

Then, the much asked for cousin appeared. "Ah, Sleeping Beauty has arrived - and forgotten to get me a coffee too. Rude." He flashed her a grin regardless though, blowing his hair out of his eyes. "Good morning, right - what's good about it again?" He asked it nice and quiet, though, least Chase hear him and rip his soul out of his nose or something equally ridiculous.

Gisela Louise -- Corrupted Super Sailor Noctua

One would have said Noctua looked a little worse for the wear. Well, actually, they'd say she looked a lot worse for the wear. Acutally, they would be downright concerned at how horrifically haggard the waif-like 18-year-old looked. But, those who would be concerned were only strangers, and those closest to her would only notice her steps were marginally less than steady than they otherwise would.

It had been her first plane ride, and her usual anxiety, already at critical levels, had topped out and actually done the most curious thing. Her nerves had snapped back to a normal baseline. No... calmer than a normal baseline. At the back of her mind, Gisela wondered if this was something that was normal and made a mental note to call Doctor Stevens once things were settled. For now, however, she scanned the crowd for the familiar face that she knew was going to be on this mission with her.

"Shannon," Gisela said softly in greeting as she took her seat next to the other woman. "I'm glad that you got here in one piece."

Chevonne Perry || Lieutenant "Starinite"

It couldn't have been more than a month since she'd been "drafted." It felt...strange to have something this big happen this quickly. Travelling to a foreign country, working with so many superior officers...and this was important, right? Why ask for her?

But Chevonne was never going to look a gift horse in the mouth. She'd been fed up with her unemployment-induced cabin fever for a good while now, so the trip was something to get her mind out of the funk it was in. More importantly, though, was the chance to ingratiate herself with General Labyrinthite, who had quite the reputation from what she'd heard. Getting in the good graces of someone so big had to result in some sort of reward, right? More power, more pull...and perhaps she could get a favor or two? Like, say, a stable job for once in her life?

She had to impress him, and everyone else as well. She had to be on her best behavior.

...and that was why she'd arrived at the East Wing an hour ahead of time.

Of course, going into the meeting room itself was probably not the best idea, that would be too eager, so she'd waited a ways down the hallway and looked over the information stored in her communication crystal. Again...and again...and again...memorizing...

She eventually filed into the room behind the others and took a seat as close to the front of the room as she could. Arriving too early was a faux pas, but sitting at the front of the classroom was how you demonstrated your dedication correctly.

She sat at attention, patiently waiting for the General to begin.

Shannon Mccord//Lieutenant Strengite

Shannon quietly sipped her coffee as she watched as more and more people file in. Most were in casual nice clothes, one was most definitely not, there were a few who were in nicer outfits, and even one who was in full power suit mode. Shannon was personally glad she had stuck to a simple, yet still eye catching, dress that put her assets in perfect display. She looked a little like a hot librarian but it was still hot with a capital H, especially with her hair up in a soft chignon that allowed little fly-away strands to frame her face artfully.

There was some chatting being done between small groups, most notably between the trio that consisted of the green gilled redhead... oops make that four. The lieutenant mentally corrected herself when another girl sat down with the bitching three. There were several cups, some disposables but a few not, but no where near as many as Shannon figured there would be needed since it was still technically stupid early for their normal time zone.

The pale haired woman hid her yawn behind her cup and silently wondered when they could get this whole shindig going, and who in the room she would want to sleep with. The first was important but the second was more amusing. Unfortunately for her imagination she was pulled from her thoughts when she was greeted softly, a waif sliding into one of the empty seats next to her.

"Gisela," The younger girl looked dead tired but then again she always did. Shannon personally figured the girl needed a good shagging since sex always helped her sleep but what ever, she wasn't the girl's mom... or pimp. "Yeah, the plane was quite comfy yes? I wonder how pretty a penny that cost... all of us in one plane. Completely sold out." There was more then just a twinge of longing by the end of her sentence. Man, she wanted that kind of disposable income.

Velma Hawkins | Lt. Leifite

Getting her parents to agree to allow her to go "study abroad in Europe" on a paid trip "from the school" had been a challenge. Her mother had been blaise about the idea, but her father had out right forbade her to go at first. Regardless that Velma was now an adult legally, and her father had no legal right to all but imprison her in his house, she still lived with them while going to college. She could go patrolling or fib day and weekend trips just fine. Several month long ones? Less easy.

It took her threatening her parents as Leifite to get him to back down. Not that they knew Velma and Leifite were one and the same, just that the "criminal underground" of Destiny City knew of the questionable business practices her father kept up and would "bring them to light to the board of directors should their daughter not be sent to Europe." It was "imperative Velma be allowed to go, for the good of the Negaverse, and your lives."

It took very little after that.

Velma tugged her vest down slightly, smoothing the fabric as she walking into the meeting room. She didn't know who these people were beyond that they were in the Negaverse. This was fine. She was here to do as she told and come out of this alive, and with a promotion under her belt. That was her plan and motive for agreeing to this mission.

She would not fail.

Velma is a short Brit girl open for interaction!

Gansey Gallagher | Lieutenant Aventurine

Traveling was second nature for someone like him and Gansey wouldn't lower himself to the same level as the rest of the...peons by looking anything other than completely well rested and dressed for business. Dark slacks paired well with a button up that was deep red that had sleeves rolled up to the elbows.Chestnut hair was swept back, looking almost wind tousled and when he strolled into the conference room like he owned the place.

There were no bags beneath his eyes despite the jet lag that had left tension in his shoulders. His clothing was clean pressed and neat, yacht loafers soft-sounding as he crossed the room. Hazel eyes scanned the area, one dark brow lifting as he took in everyone that had gathered. Most people were on time, more timely than he was, and he wondered what type of man brought that sort of command with him.

He saw his own general, who'd insisted that he attend after the incident with the bottles but he made no move to approach her. Instead he picked a seat between two women. One appeared to have grey-blonde hair, dressed as neatly as he was and the other was sporting red locks, feet propped up on the table with an energy drink in hand.

Gansey himself carried an americano, procured not to long before.

"Ladies," he greeted, pulling his chair out and settling into it.
