Sylvite searched through the database as each name came up, and she actually found some results. She tilted the screen so that Vitriol could see. "It looks like Castor's file's been updated pretty recently," she said, "Which makes sense if he's around. Ganymede's here too, it just says she's an Eternal though. If you're sure she's a Princess I can update it." The search for Polaris, on the other hand, came up blank. Sylvite tilted her head. "That's weird. I think I have heard of her before. She has knights that serve her, yeah?"

The Dark Mirror leaders were there, too, except for Ares but that didn't really bother her. They were allies, supposedly, and didn't really seem to be doing all that much either way.

She scrolled past them pretty fast and looked up from the tablet, her lips curling towards a frown. "You said there's a knight as strong as them, though? That's gross."

"Yes. Camelot. He is a Earth Knight. Vows himself to the senshi." He said, glancing at the tablet.

Reading over Castor, they at least had something down. "He uses ice magic. I haven't seen Polaris around so - maybe dead? She does have knights." He said and looked up. "I could try adding more but I'm kinda not able to write at the moment. Pencils are too small for my claws. I worry I might break a keyboard too. It takes me a while to type at all." He admitted.

Sylvite took a second to look from his claws to the tablet.

"Have you tried these communicator tablet things? It's like, a magic hologram thing. I don't actually know, but I don't think it's gonna break that easily."

Then, she put the tablet down for a second so she could grin at him. "But if you want someone to type for you, I can do it. It seems like you know all kinds of stuff! That's really cool."

She titled her head, still all bubbly and innocent. "How long have you been around?"

He knew that would come up.

"Not long. I just go on a lot of patrols with other officers so I meet a lot of senshi and knights. They tend to talk a bit so I get information from them. Other times, it's just hearing what other officers are discussing. Since I live here, I tend to hear a lot of agent talk. Surprised none of them bothered to put what they learned in the database though." He lied.

"If I can try to communicator without breaking it, I can try that. I just hope the keyboard is big enough." He said with a chuckle.

"Yeah, people are kinda awful about updating it," she said, and she gave out a huffy sigh with all of the frustration she didn't let out much. "Like, there was this interrogation thing a while before I joined up, but nobody. wrote. any. of. it. down." She huffed again, the frustration only building.

"So then the Order people decided they wanted revenge and me and my friends got tortured for something we don't even have a record of." She rolled her eyes at that, hard. Maybe that was one of the mysteries she could look into: who had let those records fall through the cracks.

It wasn't this guy's fault, though. He was being really nice, actually, and she grinned again. "So yeah, it's my project now. I don't wanna make you write too much, but if you're hearing stuff," not that she was totally convinced there wasn't more to him, but she could let it slide, "I'd really, really appreciate if you could put it in there."

"I'll make it my homework. Might just take me some time to remember everything though."

Some of the people he had met had been ages back and he wasn't sure what had happened to them and how they had changed. Still, some information was better than nothing, but he also had to check in with Faustite to make sure it was approved. While it would help his cause to help him regain his name, it could also harm him in showing just how old he really was if he knew too much details. Maybe it would have been better to pass the information to someone else to enter into the system.

He'd have to think about it.

"Can I ask. Do you have much information on half-youmas?"

Sylvite's grin went the biggest that it had been yet. "Really? Oh, that's awesome! Thanks so much!"

Getting someone's help, not just a snippet of information was way more than she had gotten from anyone so far. Maybe she needed to ask around the Negaverse more often.

The question about half-youma was kinda unexpected, even if it made sense given her new freinds's fluffy ears. She sucked her cheeks in for a second before answering. "You, like, the Information Branch or you, like, me?" She didn't wait for an answer. Sylvite almost always talked fast. "There's nothing in the database about it that I saw. I do know this guy called Faustite, he's got, like, smoke coming out of his back? It's pretty cool. And now I know you."

The smile hadn't gone anywhere. She maybe even seemed a little too excited about the whole thing.

"No. I'm not in the Information Branch. I'm not in any branch, but I'll probably be in Special Ops later." He wasn't much of a tactician and he always liked the thrill of battle most of all. There was a fierce desire to prove himself on the battlefield where he felt most capable than trying to force information out of anyone. He had already done interrogations and failed. Any confidence in that was snuffed out in that moment.

She seemed to have at least met Faustite, and something in his paused. "I suppose you don't know much about him though?" He asked.

"Yeah, I know stuff about him," said Sylvite. He'd been her first official interview, and there'd been some pretty juicy details that she was just about to spill with a grin before her self control kicked in just enough to stop her.

Faustite was a general. Vitriol was a slightly sketchy lieutenant.

It wouldn't keep her from talking, but first she asked, "Why?"

He stared back. "Because I'd like to know more about him."

That was good enough for Sylvite.

"Okay," she said, then leaned in closer before she spilled her secrets. "We got brought in by the same guy, actually. Umber. He was kinda a jerk, but worse to him than me. Like, he just ignored me, but he used to break Faustite's arms and stuff."

Her voice got higher and she frowned, making it clear that she did not approve.

"It kinda rubbed off on him. He's really serious and a little mean. Not as bad, but yeah. He likes philosophy and boring stuff, but he also likes youma so he'd probably like you. He ate too many starseeds trying to heal from the arm-breaking stuff and he turned."

Sylvite stopped just long enough to take a breath.

"Umber's probably dead if you were wondering." There was a little more to the story, but that was probably better to keep to herself.

He stared back, watching with a creasing brow of concern as he listened. These were things of the past. These were things that made Faustite a half-youma, but Vitriol couldn't know for sure one way or another if these things that the General had forgotten or choose to not discuss. It seemed every time he had tried to push back, tried to dig deeper, tried to find out more, the other had cut all discussion short and remained tight-lipped on the matter. Every time it was deemed unnecessary, loaded, and pointless. Part of him had always wondered if he just didn't trust him, or moreso, he didn't feel it was his place to know. That was something he couldn't argue with as no one was entitled to know someone one way or another if they didn't freely get it. What tore at him was that despite everything, the man had never opened up much to him.

What was rather hurtful was that he had opened up to her, this person he had just met on accident. Why did Faustite entrust this information to her? Was it the close tie of being under the same superior? Why was SHE spared of the wrath of this General Umber and Faustite not?

What did she know?

"You must be close to the General." He ventured, trying to keep his voice cool but the tone went somber. "Being under the same officer and everything. Strange that Umber would ignore you and not the other."

Close to Faustite? Sylvite giggled at that. It was hard to imagine him as close to anyone.

"Not really," she said. "Like I said, Umber didn't care about me. I didn't see either of them that much. It's just my job to know stuff, remember?"

She didn't always love thinking about her old general, especially about how she'd failed him and the rest of her early days in the wilderness, and she leaned back against the stone, taking a more serious tone again. "It's not that weird that he focused on Faustite, though. It's the same in sports. You're harder on the people who have more potential. I was laying low after the torture thing, so he brought in someone new. Someone who's already a general."

Sylvite wasn't great at hiding her emotions and she was quickly going from serious to bitter.

He frowned at that. "Faustite was already a general when Umber oversaw him? Isn't that a bit strange?"

"Breaking bones isn't just hard. There is rough training and then there is excessive force." Rendering a agent unable to physically fight due to damage to their body negated any progress in their training. It shorted the longevitity of the agents.

"Were you the only other member on his team? Do you know any more?"

Sylvite shook her head. "No. He's only been a general a couple months, but he was already a captain when I met him, and I was still a lieutenant, so he's been going through the ranks pretty quick. So I guess he had potential."

Sylvite didn't get just what was so special about him. Maybe she was a little jealous.

"But yeah, pretty much everyone still thinks Umber's a total jerk. I mean, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here, but with his methods and stuff, I don't really care that he's dead."

Some of the other people from the investigation seemed even more happy about it. Sylvite still had mixed feelings about how she'd just been left to fend for herself, but it had been working out for her recently.

"And we were his only recruits."
