RP Response:
"I'm going to try and go for at least one of the spears." Troy looked at the two he was with and nodded affirmatively before he started to move closer to the camp. He stayed low and crawled on his stomach as he had beneath the brambles, keeping his eyes open. So far, no guards...which seemed too good to be true. He got closer ever so slowly and pushed up to his knees, reaching for a spear when he saw the shadow of one of the centaur's approaching around a bend. The spear was just a little too far so he settled for one of the small daggers before he quietly scrambled back into the brush just as a guard came around on what appeared to be their patrol route.

Amity glanced to Tabi as they continued their way around the perimeter, keeping an eye on how the guards moved. She slowed when she heard a twig snap, cocking her head to the side, and held a hand up to let Tabi know she'd heard something, eyes narrowing a little. After a few minutes, whatever it was seemed to move on...
"Got a feeling those hunters are looking for us." She looked back to Tabi, exhaling. "We should keep going. We're bound to meet up in the middle again with the others, we can tell them what we've seen." The guards seemed to be following a similar pattern as they patrolled, but the unseen hunters had the Baphomet's hair standing on end. They barely escaped once, and that was in the daylight.

RP Response: Raspina nodded and watched Troy go. Distraction... Something simple maybe? She picked up a couple rocks and tossed them in the opposite direction, hoping the centaurs would go there instead.

Troy saw that Raspbina had thrown rocks off in a different direction to distract the guards, watching as they went to inspect it. It left an opening for him to do something but he couldn't waste too much time on it...so he had a different idea. He got close again and saw fires....and water sources...and he used magic to manipulate the water to douse the fires for more distractions.

As they continued their track around the camp to vet out how everything looked, Amity spotted a few tents that seemed to be held up only by a few ropes and poles. One in particular seemed to be lilting a little already, and Amity suddenly had an idea. A wonderful idea.
Amity had a wonderful, terrible idea.
"I'm going to try knocking that tent down." She said to Tabi softly over her shoulder, glancing in each direction for guards before she left the safety of the bushes. They hadn't seen anyone deviate from the pattern of activity, but she couldn't shake the feeling of being hunted, and Amity was a tall girl to miss. Still, she made her way to the tent fairly quickly, and stuck close to it, listening to see if anyone was inside.
If they were, she didn't hear them. Amity took the spear head she'd pilfered earlier, and used it to cut through the rope gently, letting it go carefully. A second rope was cut, and then a third. The tent began to shift without the support of its counterweights, and Amity bolted back to the bushes as the tent came down with a crash. "C'mon, let's go." She whispered harshly, moving on through the bushes before anyone could come investigate and (probably) catch them.

The dousing of the fires took away both light sources and provided a distraction but it wasn't quite enough chaos to keep them busy...until he saw one of the tents falling. He could only see the top of it go down but he had a feeling from the commotion that followed, the others were thinking of similar things. He gripped the dagger in his hand and snuck further in to another tent, finding the rope that held up the supporting poles and cutting it. It started to collapse just as he slipped back out, motioning to the others with him to move forward with him. They had to get close to the main cage.

Amity slowed in their circling when she saw another tent go down, grinning. "Looks like the others are getting into the camp, too." She said to Tabi over her shoulder, looking back. "Let's see if we can't knock out some more of their light sources, huh?" Amity skirted out of the bushes carefully, glancing around for guards or their hunting centaurs first, and made her way over to a fire between two tents. She spotted a bucket of water near it, and made her way over, kicking the bucket into the fire to douse the light. Amity ran back to the bushes for cover, skirting back into them as guards came to investigate the sudden activity.
"C'mon. The more we strike in different spots, the more scattered they're gonna be." She expected they'd meet up with the other parts of their party soon the more they traveled, too, but there was no harm in knocking things down and killing their light sources while they made their way back.

Upon her alpha's request, Snowfall swiftly made her way through the trees towards the outer hunting camps. She had received a number of brief and somewhat desperate messages talking about some kind of sabotage. Aritao hadn't seemed impressed by the news, and Snowfall was equally disturbed that the small amount of captives that had escaped were causing such a nuisance. Sticking to the treeline, Snowfall began to softly weave between the landscape, her hoofsteps as light as her name implied. She was a trained huntress - Aritao's best, certainly - and found it easy to move near-silently. She watched the camp for some time, her eyes tracking the different movements and, eventually, sabotage. A smile played on her lips - it would seem these creatures weren't as unintelligent as previously believed. Snowfall watched in amusement as the creatures put out various fires, while even setting some of their own. Fascinating.
After a while of chaos, Snowfall finally made her move. Gesturing to the other hunters that were stealthily scattered around the tree line, she made various hand movements to indicate the intent to surround the area. Silently as always, she made her way towards the largest group of saboteurs. In a quiet but authoritative voice, she addressed the group. "Your skills are impressive, two-leggeds," she complimented, deliberately putting away her bow. "Our leader wants to compliment you herself; time to reunite with your friends." To anyone who objected, Snowfall explained they were surrounded - their choices were limited, but they'd wanted to rescue the expedition team anyway, right? "I do not believe you will be hurt," she said confidently, not a trace of deceit in her voice. "You are clearly creatures of skill - Strongback will not slaughter you like animals," she assured them. Of course, Snowfall hadn't been told that yet by her leader, but she knew Aritao better than most anyone.
Well done on a successful siege! The Centaurs are impressed by your willpower and skills. Time to return to your group and bask in the glory.
