Character: Amarith Choice: C RP Response: So Amarith had been right all along. They had been taken by monsters! Monsters with the audacity to call them beasts when it was these horrific savages who wanted to hunt them! Anger warred with terror, but terror won. She couldn't fly--the trees were too thick and she'd never get airborne before one of these terrible creatures attacked her anyway.
Trying not to sob, not wanting to give these horrid sadists the satisfaction, she just tucked her wings close and limped away as quickly as she could. Maybe she could climb. These monsters surely couldn't follow her up a tree. Except how could she climb when he could barely walk, let alone run? It seemed she really would be joining Petunia on the other side of life soon, and with her gear taken, there was no way she was going to even be able to tell anyone what had happened to her!
And wasn't that proof right there? They wore clothes, they had equipment. These savages knew they weren't beasts, they were just sadists and murderers! She was trapped in a horror movie! Amarith pressed a hand to her mouth to muffle her crying as she tried to flee. Monsters were real and they had four legs. Only monsters hunted other sapients! She let the anger fuel her, even if it was the terror that made her run. Perhaps anger would somehow help her survive. At least she thought it was helping her leg hurt less.

Character: Jin Choice: C RP Response: Jin licked his lips, still tired from the drugs and thrumming with energy. He flexed his hooves, and shifted ... run? He could run. He was going to run. He bolted, turning east and dug his hooves in the soft ground and just ran for it.

Character: AliceChoice: C RP Response: Alice couldn't believe what she was seeing. Who were these people? When the leader spoke about them like they were nothing but free roaming pests for hunt Alice's blood boiled. What type of mental patients were these savages. Anyone able to talk and communicate was intelligent life and not just mindless creatures. They obviously knew this and just had some screwed up superiority complex. Their leader spoke as if they were the ones who captured the previous research team...and murdered them. The cold blood lust in the eyes of their hunters was enough to sicken her. Unfortunately if she wanted to live she would have to play their twisted game. When the cages opened they were instructed to run and be prey for their hunt. Alice clenched her fist trying to contain her fury. She decided to follow the spider twins to the east. If she didn't make it out of this alive she hoped she could haunt her father from the other side. It was his fault she was in this mess and she was going to make sure he knew that.

Character: Raspbina Luckwyn Choice: B RP Response: Fear was one thing. A little fear was healthy, it kept you from making truly stupid decisions. Unfortunately for Raspbina it did not stop her from making the truly stupid decision of coming on this expedition. Probably because who knew they would be freakin' KIDNAPPED and forced into cages?
BY CENTAURS. Was she dreaming? What was this? She was really having a hard time coming to grips with this whole thing, but when the cage doors were open and centaurs words filtered in through the haze of terror and confusion Raspbina sped off in a random direction. She had no idea who was going the same direction or if anyone was. She just needed to get out of there.
She needed to get back to Mistandra.

Character: Eir Choice: A RP Response:
Eir had a few choice words for the centaurs. She was FUMING MAD at this point. She wanted her sword, and she wanted to fight. But perhaps she should play this... little game, and wait till there were fewer around before challenging the leader to a fight.

Character: Devon Choice: A RP Response: Out of the frying pan and into the fire. Not only were they correct about their captors having bleak plans for them correct, but they were going to play with their food first! Devon shook their head as they were lead out into the fields, to be let loose and ran down in some demented blood sport. Though they avoided running when possible, this was certainly a motivation! As soon as they were released, they darted towards the west. They doubted they had much of a chance, but they weren't about to roll over.

Character: Tabi Choice: A RP Response: Tabi uncurled nervously, her throat tight with fear as the centaurs announced that they were about to be hunted. She would rather die than run across this terrain, already exhausted and battered. But then the hunt began, and Tabi, shaking like a leaf, decided to follow Eir. At least, if they got caught, she'd feel a little safer.
"I'm with you," she said, desperately trying to keep up with the Grimm.

Character: Troy Choice: A RP Response:
The reveal of their captors certainly took Troy by surprise. He would never have imagined that there would be such a race of folk living out here...but then again, they thought the same about the kumiho. Strange how this seemed eerily similar, apart from the fact that these people were more keen on hunting them like wild game. This was....barbaric. They were told to run and he felt severely torn about this. Seeing those who were being held back (which, shockingly enough, included Dr. Horn and his team) made him want to outright refuse and stay to protect them from whatever might befall them if they remained here. Still....this was supposed to be a test of their worth. He was a soldier....and this was something he could not back down from. He was injured and still mildly affected by whatever they had been drugged with but he didn't intend to let that stop him. He looked up at their apparent leader, stone-faced. "....This isn't over." His words were firm and simple. He then turned and headed back into the woods...back into dangerous ground. At least he had an idea of where some trapped areas were. Perhaps he could use that to his advantage. Any trace of a limp was quickly dismissed as he picked up speed and dashed between the trees.

Character: Cian Choice: A RP Response: He couldn't hear it, no, but Cian knew without a shadow of doubt, that back home, Brialla was laughing at him. Not that she could know of his predicament, of course. But if she could... no, she wouldn't be worried for his safety. She'd be cackling at his expense.
When the faces and forms of their attackers finally came to light, Cian stared, momentarily dumbfounded before he began to grit his teeth. They sought to kill them, hunt them like mindless, wild game. The smokey tendrils at his arms, legs, and tail flared in his rage at the gal. He of course took his place in this game--his pride wouldn't allow for anything else, though he was aware of his lack of familiarity with the terrain. The bird that had been in his cage quickly took to its wing and fled, and he envied its escape.
He gave no words to their captors or their leader. Wasted breath, all of it. He focused instead on running down one of the paths. See if luck fancied him or laughed in him as Brialla would.

Character: Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans Choice: C RP Response:
Sherbet was still shaking off the effects of the sedative when the cage door swung open. Staggering to his feet, he lurched out onto the grass and nearly fell face flat. He righted himself after a few seconds, wings fanning to aid in balance. As he did, the world wobbled from side to side, rather like a slowly rocking boat.
It was the haze of a few drinks too many, Sherbet equated, sluggish thoughts railing at his sluggish body. And like the haze of a few drinks, any sudden movements would not prove beneficial, even if his immediate escaped depended on moving quickly. A bit of a catch-22.
The chimera squinched his eyes shut pressed his palms back into his sockets. The brief pressure awakened something in his brain, if only for a moment. As he pulled his hands away, he caught sight of a centaur reaching for their spear.
Time to go.

Character: Sierra Choice: B RP Response: "Beasts you claim us to be- yet you strip us of our weaponry and force us to run- to do what.....Die alone in the wilderness- How would that prove our intelligence to you!?!? Meanwhile you and your hunters are amed and unwounded as well as have the advantage of familiar territory- In no way is this fair or honorable!"
Spitting out her words she whirled and set out at a lope, heading whichever direction she wound up facing knowing that it made n o difference at this point. They just wanted the fun of the hunt- and in the end that was all she could be to them......She dearly wanted to simply stay but her instincts screamed to run- she could always try talking later once captured.............
