Guardian Cat BernardBernard never saw the mist coming. It wasn't a surprise though, he had been sleeping when whatever it was had happened. Somehow he had managed to find a warm vent in the park belonging to... somewhere he was sure, and he laid down on it for a quick nap... that was only a few hours.
He only started to wake up when he felt the signature of chaos around him, and even then it took him a while considering everything was so dark. Even his kitty eyes didn't help him in trying to see through all of this mist. He could tell though that there were very few Order characters in all of this mist.
He would have to be on his guard, though he tried to blend in a bit more with his black fur so that he could at least observe.Quote: terrible post but Bernard is open for interaction!

Mintaka greeted her husband and her brother.
"I had nothing to do with this." She beamed at them, "Stillwaterite opened the bottle, not me." Passing that on though, they were starting to gather people in the dark space, including order characters.
It would be worrisome, such a small space where magic could go off.
And just like that, she saw an orders magic root and grow. Her body moving on its own away from her group and towards the senshi. Her hands flung out and her own magic burst, surrounding the woman in paper shapes and cranes.
"Origami Blizzard*" Her hands fell but the magic did not fade like it normally would after the seconds. Actually, she wasn't able to move for a full minute before her body was hers again and she was able to step. "Um, I would refrain from attack others in here." She spoke loudly enough for others to here. "It seems I will not be able to control my own magic....." As such, the origami blizzard CONTINUED to fall on Moira for another five minutes.
Mintaka, free to return to her group, paused only to touch Acubens arm. "Hello Acubens." She smiled at her, "Fancy meeting you here." and then she returned to Aurostibite, Hydrus and Stillwaterite.
In the area, Mintaka and presumably Stillwaterite's Magic has been exaggerated! If you choose to attach or start a battle, the woman, uncontrollably, will stop you with their eternal attacks (also just so you know, Still's magic is getting hit by a ship....so you know...do it at you're own wary?)Sweenys_Revenge *Origami Blizzard With her final upgrade, Mintaka can summon up to 1000 cranes, stars, flowers and various other small origami shapes that attack much like her two attacks before, Instead of just being blinded (but still focused on blinding), it reaches an actual damaging amount of papercuts. It stings, small cuts form in the most of annoying spots and are hard to deflect. This effect last up to a minute. Range is 15ft max and with the heavy amount of origami shapes, a deflection can only happen by violent winds...(Such as strong gust or gales of storm strength), or if the target is out of range.

Acubens watched with her eyebrows in her hairline as Mintaka seemed to act as though something had come over her. She knew little about the other eternal, but she did suspect that overkill, especially on a child, was probably not her style. And so, when Mintaka came back to herself, Acubens hid a sly smile behind her hand and cleared her throat before saying, "I'd say I was surprised to see you here too, Mintaka, but given your track record..." She nudged the other woman with a friendly elbow and motioned to the order senshi. "Why not come over here, kiddo, and talk with us." The order senshi, hair a mess and riddled with thin lines of superficial cuts, only turned tail and ran. Ah well. she'd find someone of her own to latch on to and collect around. Right now she wasn't her concern, no matter how much of Acubens' younger self the little order reminded her. She would find her own, as Acubens had found her. "Mintaka mentioned your name was Stillwaterite," Acubens said with a grin, deciding that if Mintaka trusted these negaverse officers, then they couldn't have been so bad. "I'm Acubens, Senshi of Velociraptors." She also offered a smile towards the other two men present. That smile, however, faltered when she saw a familiar face wandering in the darkness. Crocus. No wait. Not Crocus. "Jason," her voice was weak and her throat was dry. Jason was powered down and he was here where everyone else was powered up. "Jason," her voice was louder now, hopefully reaching him. "Jason, over here, kiddo." She then offered those around her another smile and explained, "my apologies, he's... well he's one of mine."

Sailor MeissaThe night was young. Sailor Meissa had been patrolling for all of about thirty minutes before realizing that nothing was happening. There were no strange aura signatures on her radar and that usually equalled a boring night. The senshi had taken to sitting in a tree in the middle of one of Destiny City's parks. It was nice to be able to just sit and observe the stirrings of those out and about at night and not worry (at least with regular folk) about being noticed. If powered signatures began to pop up then Meissa would move from her perch. Being treed was not on her list of possible adventures.
As a breath of wind rattled the branches Meissa fought the urge to yawn before picking up on a strange sort of feeling. It wasn't anything she'd felt as her short stint of a senshi and while her need to ferret out what might be happening wasn't as bad as others, sometimes the urge to do something random washed over her. With that lingering thought in mind the bluenette pushed out of the tree and moved towards the area that the strangeness was coming from.
What Meissa didn't expect to see was a strange darkness, inky black, obscuring most of another local park. The bobcat senshi tried to peer into the murky darkness to see what was happening on the other side and found it nearly impossible to see past the opaque cover. The idea that her wish for something exciting to happen now came back to bite her in the literal backside as a curious tugging sensation sucked her through the mist. It took her about thirty seconds on the other side to realize that she wasn't getting out the way she'd come in. 'Just freaking great.'
On the other side of the darkness powered auras sprang to the front of her mind and Meissa made a silent protest before stepping forward to figure out what was going on. Information was now key.
Spotting a gathering of people Meissa was horrified to see one senshi being bombarded by what looked like pieces of paper. She winced in sympathy before rushing over. Catching the tail end of the warning given out Meissa narrowed her gaze before sighing. A brown-gloved hand extended towards the one that had been on the end of the attack in an apparent offer of assistance. Meissa could see that her fellow warrior seemed shaken, "Need a hand there?"

She'd certainly caught someone's attention, that was for sure. A white haired sneshi in purple and red approached her and she was about to wonder why her own magic had done nothing when she was certain that it did something. Her thoughts, however, were cut short when the senshi called out the name of her own attack and Moira paled in the face of it. The magic hit Moira like a ton of bricks and then it just kept hitting her. It felt like hours, and everywhere Moira looked there was another paper crane or something flapping at her face and arms and legs. She couldn't get away. Wickedly sharp little edges cut into her skin, causing irritating little stings to popcorn all over her body. It was getting hard to breath. Getting hard to see. Was she screaming? It certainly sounded like someone was screaming, and her throat did hurt. And then the storm ended as suddenly as it had begun, leaving Moira messed, wild eyed, and panting. "Why not come over here, kiddo, and talk with us." Moira finally focused her eyes on the other red headed senshi who was speaking to her, and despite the kindness in her smile, she could not escape the way her aura prickled over her skin and frayed her nerves. She did the only thing that she could do. She ran. Moira fled like a coward from the older, more powerful senshi and honed in on the only other order aura she could feel. "Oh," she said stupidly, gazing down at herself, "Yeah I... I guess I could. I don't know what happened, I thought... I thought..." No she hadn't. She had been so blind with her own duty that she hadn't stopped to think about what she was doing. Didn't stop to think that maybe going against someone that much stronger was a terrible idea. "Um... thanks. I'm Moira. Senshi of Roots."

dmc loreley of lamentation
Not again.
It wasn't as if it happened every time she went out. It simply happened enough that it was noticeable. Made her anxious to do her duty. The only difference this time was that it seemed to be a neutral force, pulling at a group of people rather than selecting at random in the park. Loreley hadn't bothered to fight it. Why would she? There were many things more powerful than she, and one struggling step was enough to tell her she was locked into the whirlpool of mist whether she liked it or not. And so she was dragged into the strange world, watching her surroundings with forlorn eyes. Well, what she could see, anyway.
What she could feel was much more clear: a mixture of chaos and order, with a flare in power as...Was that Mintaka? Loreley recognized the flurry of origami crafts and thought to draw closer, but there were strangers surrounding her. Around them all. The part of her that wanted to find protection in numbers stayed put because of the much larger part of her that was wary. Anxious to see what would happen now that they were all trapped.

lt. margarite
Now, Maybelle was not someone wont to take walks in the park at night; how dangerous for a lady! Margarite, however, was perfectly happy to be able to enjoy activities she had taken for granted before she had been powered up, or rather the level of safety she took in the new persona. She strutted the walking path with purpose and a bubbly air that didn't usually fit someone with the mission to take energy--well, up until something happened, its magic sucking her into more trouble than she expected.
Margarite disapproved. She liked keeping to at least a decent sleep schedule.
"Ugh, what the heck," she started to grouse, but moving forward had been a mistake. Margarite found herself tripping over an adorably fat but inconveniently placed cat. Catching herself, she spun and looked down. "Ah s**t, sor--oh." That yellow star. "Gross."

Guardian Cat Bernard Bernard could feel a chaos signature approaching and readied himself. It seemed to be coming from one of his sides, but were they going to attack first? Perhaps he needed to get away? But before he could do anything, he felt yet another foot go into his side and over him.
Someone had tripped over him. Again.
He looked over and it seemed to be a lieutenant. He wanted to hiss, but didn't. He would be a gentleman. But before he could do so by asking the woman if she wanted some help getting up, he heard her call him gross.
His fur bristled at the insult. Gross?! How-how dare she! Now a hiss came out of him. "Gross!? I could say the same thing about you young lady." Agents were disgusting in the way they used chaos and hurt those who were in the Order. What right did this lieutenant have to say that about him?!
He hmphed, and sat there, deciding he would watch her get up on her own. He was no longer offering his services!

Lt. ChambersiteChambersite huffed. How did he get in here again? All he had been doing was going into the park and finding some people to drain for energy. And when he had finally found the perfect victims, a stupid lovey-dovery couple who seemed to think they were in their own little world, a swirling mist had suddenly come out of nowhere, and suddenly he was here. He was more than a little pissed. And whoever had done this was going to get a face full of fake turnip. He could feel some Order signatures nearby. Some arguing. And he thought he recognized one captain from that other time, but the rest he didn't know about or had ever talked to them. He groaned. "Of course the night would be like this. The New Year just couldn't start out without something happening now could it?" He didn't care who heard, he just wanted to get out of wherever they were. Hopefully it wasn't purgatory though. Had the world just ended? He pinched himself. If it did, then his nerves were still working correctly for some reason.

Sailor LacertaWhy did this weird s**t have to happen to her?
For not the last time in her short time as a senshi did Lacerta wish that she could have a normal night. Blinking at the swirling mist that had encapsulated the park she had been in the senshi of bandages resisted the urge to flip the strange atmosphere that now seemed perfectly content to keep her bottled in its interior. Pushing gently against the resistance that she felt hope die that getting out of here wasn't going to be as easy as she had hoped. With a sigh that wracked her slight form the redhead moved away from the wall and decided if she was stuck in here that she better figure out what "here" was. There was something that struck a cord of some familiarity with the senshi but she couldn't put her finger on it quite yet.
There was more indicators that she was not the only one seemingly trapped. Well at least she'd have company but what sort of individuals would be encountered. This was not how she wanted to spend a free night, Her ring still was on her finger and she twisted it briefly in worry before spotting figures that were appearing in the distance. Lacerta sighed as the same sort of questions were floating around. So it looked like no one really knew what was going on, was that right?
There were strong auras popping up and Lacerta took notice of them before making a split decision. Although they registered as not of her own faction Lacerta would have to guess that maybe stronger individuals meant more experience. Steeling herself the senshi of bandages moved closer to a group of several individuals, instantly recognizing one of them by sight alone. She debated calling out to Acubens and instead moved silently to stand behind the Velociraptor senshi. She wasn't sure if she would be welcome among the group as it seemed as if no one was on her 'side.' Would an interloper be welcome?

Basic Corrupt Senshi VersaillesFor his part, Versailles had just been enjoying the night a bit. Just because he had joined the Negaverse didn't mean he couldn't enjoy the night sky once in a while when it finally decided to peak out of the clouds! Of course, he had also been in the park to collect some energy and messing with his hair while doing so. He didn't mind the powers he had gotten, but why was his hair so long and why did his uniform not come with any way to tie it up?! He would just have to deal with it. Perhaps buy some... what were they? Bands or something. He would have to ask his mother. Though he was sure she would be wondering why he was doing such a thing. For right now though, all he could do was move it out of his face when it decided to hang there. And that happened a lot. And for tonight, it meant that he missed his targets, some drug dealer and buyer that he would be happy to hit up for some energy, and also didn't see the black cloud of mist that had been coming towards him. By the time he realized something had happened, he was already inside... something. He didn't know what the something was, but it didn't seem to be too large, and quite a few other Negaverse agents and... Order? Order people were in here. He sighed. "Well, this is certainly one way to start the night." He said, trying to see if he could recognize anyone so far, but alas, he hadn't met any of these Negaverse agents yet.

Sailor GenbuIt felt good getting back into the swing of patrolling, and though she didn't have her entire team with her at the moment, she had her right hand and best friend. Even if the changes in their civilian relationship sort of complicated the dynamic of their powered one. A bit. Genbu had never had any trouble before taking the lead and running with it. She had been appointed leader, and not without reason. Strong and strategic, the role fit like a warm glove, and directing the other girls had been easy. Had been. The problem was that Helen was not nearly as confident as Genbu, and Harley was not merely her best friend and teammate anymore, though she wasn't entirely sure what to call the other girl just yet. friend just didn't quite fit the bill anymore. Not even best friend. They were probably due for a talk sometime soon, but Helen, at least, was dragging her feet about it because if things weren't going to work out she wasn't in a hurry to find that out. All of this was running through her head as the pair of them walked along the sidewalk near one of the cities many parks. She'd seem distracted, mind not entirely on what they were doing. At least until she felt the eruption of dark energy that seemed to rush out from the center of the park. "I don't know what that is, but we should check it out."

Jason McClarye Jr.
It seemed like some people were getting quite antsy about the situation they found themselves in. Maybe it was weird that he was just your basic civilian and yet he was just sort of....calmly walking around at the moment. He caught what happened when a White Moon Senshi tried to attack some chaos attuned individuals. A Dark Mirror Senshi attacked her, but it appeared that she didn't really have much control over the situation. But, why was she the one being controlled? Maybe this was all caused by something she did?
He was only speculating though. he watched her return to her group and that was when he spotted Acubens. At the same time that she spotted him. Should he be embarrassed by the fact she was just yelling out his name in front of all these strangers? Still, at least there was someone that he knew here.
He gave a little save to let her know he had indeed heard her, just about everyone around probably did. Then he made his way over.
"I obviously didn't plan for this to happen tonight." He muttered with a sigh, switching his guitar case to his other shoulder so it wouldn't get stiff. "Hello~" He didn't feel the need to introduce himself, but he did give a polite wave and nod to the other people in the group. He didn't know them at all and was a little concerned that some of them were Negaverse. But, if Acubens were here, she must have at least trusted them some.
"Any idea what happened? I was on my way from from the bar when suddenly this happened? I should have just called a cab..." He liked walking though. He even had his own car, he really should use it more often. Pixie Nyxie Tagging y'all because you're all with Dino-Mama <3

Malaise
He knew full well that Destiny City had a reputation for being dangerous at night - of course, longer than he'd known about the risk of wandering down the alleys of DC alone, Malaise had known that old saying: Nothing ventured, nothing gained. And it was true, because even if he'd lost a lot along the way, he never would've had it to begin with if he'd expressed an iota of caution.
So he'd been in the park when it happened, seeking inspiration to write. The moon hanging in the sky. The breeze in his hair. The blunt illuminating his fingers with every drag.
Then, abruptly, everything went dark - and after a long, puzzled pause, Malaise regarded the thing he'd been smoking skeptically. He moved to toss it away. Then he thought better of it and took another drag instead.
Inspiration takes all forms, right?

KainiteSo that was weird. He'd been walking around patrolling, and then faced with a black mass of mystery - well, now here he was, wandering around with all these funky colors and energy signatures around, and he didn't really know what to do because he was pretty sure he'd just fallen into a fantasy flick or something. He was too busy trying to figure out with one. Not Harry Potter or Narnia. Maybe the Upside Down? He'd be worried about the monsters or whatever, but generally speaking, the monsters were on their side, so... Then, lucky!! He spotted his general, and immediately, he made a beeline for him. "Bossman!! Hey, you're here!! This a Negaverse thing, right?" Seemed like a reasonable question. (I'm sorry if anyone's not actually there just kljfgbkltjkl WORDS)
