"Yeah, I know if I do I'll just keep looking about and fall on my a** more." A lot more. He knew well enough that he had a habit of snowballing things if he got nervous. If he messed something up and got nervous he'd continue to mess up. It was just how he got, it wasn't something he could fix really.
"I'm not a show off but you seem to like to have fun more than I do." Rolling his dark eyes at his friend. He wasn't surprised by the small spin from the other, or for Jason to turn up at his side. He did, for a moment, have to regain his balance at the loss of the others hands and yet again when Jason moved to his side. But with his balance intact he was able to move and though slow he was able to not fall over. If he picked up his speed he knew he'd over do something, over balance or push too hard, and he'd go down.
"I think...maybe we could do this more this winter..."

Honestly, Jason already had plans to do some ice skating with his family this year. He knew he'd get to show off then, so Xi-Wang wasn't entirely wrong. In a different situation he'd be sticking out like a sore thumb and be proud of it. The last thing he wanted to do was flaunt what he knew in front of his friend who was trying to learn for the first time. Now, if Nischal was here though? He'd be showing off so hard.
"Well, for now I'm just showing off how I could get a newbie like you to move on your own so quickly." That was it's own reward after all.
"If you like this, we can definitely revisit it more this winter. It'll be frozen for a while longer for us to enjoy." He definitely would have to get Nischal out on the ice. And at some point he did really want to let loose, but for today he was happy to take his time.

"Shaking his head, laughing bubbling past his lips, he shook his head a bit. "I'm not sure if that's showing off...or you just being proud and wanting to keep around me and continue to feel that. Since no one here knows it's my first time." Though people would have certainly noticed his lack of skill and the help Jason was providing. So yeah, he was likely being noticed for something.
"I'd like that - a lot. I want to try new things...things I didn't get to do growing up." Which, for him, was perhaps a bit of a long list. He had a lot of time though to try new things and a lot of people to try them with, he had a good amount of friends now. "For now though I'm happy with this." With learning to skate, even if he wasn't the best. He was happy and he wasn't falling.
