Shirou let her grab his hand as his head pounds harder as more and more flashes start to run though his mind." Take me..to them...I have to ask them."He says as he slowly makes his way to his feet and slowly starts to follow her to his old house he noticed a group of people outside the house it was her parents talking to his parents it seemed and Shirou's parents seemed to be having headaches as well at the same time his head hurt he could hear them let out a moan of pain and once there he called out there names again and they both looked over at the boy who they thought they never seen before who knew there full names as Nancy lets him go he drops to his knees again.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy looked over at him helping him to his feet she took him along the long stretch back to their houses as she seen her parents come into view it seemed as if the dark world was all affecting them tonight as Dusk turned to twilight and she arrived with a strange man hanging off her arm only to drop to the ground,"Nancy Anne Harpenter you come right here now young lady!", yelled her father as she looked up hopelessly,"But! But! This is there son!", she yelled back standing her ground she stood there glaring back at her parents she had always tried to be a good girl in societies eyes but tonight she was going to be rebellious she was going to defend Shirou. Shiriou's mother began to cry out,"My child!", she ran over to him leaning down she began to cry and hold him,"They tried to take your name from me they took you from my mind how cruel.. to seperate us...", tears were streaming down her face as Nancy stepped back and let her be with her son only for her mother to grab her arm and usher her back into the house,"Nancy come with me now..",her mother demands as she is sent indoors while Shirou reunites with his family. Finally indoors, her parents sit her down and begin a harsh and hard lecture,"Nancy your 18 years old this is 1963 either you need to leave for college or get married", her father said,"I can't have you staying around the house pretending to be a child anymore and tonight you've acted reckless and crazy", he sighed,"You have a choice either tomorrow you leave for college or your staying with your Aunt in New york so she can find you a husband end of discussion", he stomped off to his room while his wife ran to try to settle him out with reason."I'm not doing it emily! She needs to grow up!", he yells. As Nancy blinked slowly feeling somewhat broken she tries to sweep her own issues to the side as she looks outside to Shirou and his family.

Shrou could feel his mother holding him as soon memories started to fill his mind but soon the spell that was put on the town starts to slowly lift and every one starts to remember the little boy who was taken ten years ago it was as if a fog has been lifted form every ones minds and soon tears started to fall down Shirou's own face." I am finely back home."He whispers before he stands and helps his mother up and turns to Nancy's house and yells." Nancy Harpenter I am finely home."At the top of his lungs before he falls to the ground and he lays on his back on the ground looking up at the sky.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy smiled as she heard his yell cut across the yard into the big dark sky,"Yes... yes you are...", she smiled. She heard the soft whispers of her parents and she went upstairs and got ready for the night her gown thrown over her head her hair brushed she was just settling down for sleep when her mother and father came in,"Nancy I'm sorry...", his father said,"I just want the best for you but I think you should figure out what you want but..", he turned to his wife,"Your mother said you have til the fall of this year to figure out what you want to do.. I'll give you til then besides.. you just found Shirou there is 10 years of catching up to do and the fact we have no idea what happened to him..", Nancy nodded gravely,"yea... we don't know what happened to him but today he stopped a drunk man from hurting us whatever it was I think it was secret and dark.. and not suppose to be known to regular people..", she told her parents honestly. They both nodded as she finally settled down in her bed she lay there her eyes clothes as she whispered out into the darkness,"Goodnight Shirou", before she fell asleep.

Shirou got up and walked into his house with his family and before he knew it the sun was starting to come up and he walked outside hardly any one was awake and after taking some deep breaths he walks back inside and starts to make food for his mother and father and even some for Nancy and her family and soon his father comes down and sees Shirou cooking and he smiles. "Son why are you cooking."He asks and Shirou shugs." Just something I have enjoyed doing and after spending two years on my own it's a skill that comes in handy."He says with a grin as he pours his father a cup of coffee,then he sets the table for all of them."I missed a lot of time so I am going to do the best I can to make it up to you and mom,but mostly for Nancy she never gave up looking for me after ten years,I honestly have no way of thanking her."He adds as he starts to plate food." Ill be back father."He says as he walks over to Nancy's house and knocks to her mother opening the door." Hello miss Harpenter I made breakfast if you wish to join us."He says with a warm smile.

Nancy Harpenter Emily nancys mother opened the door,"oh shirou Nancy is still sleeping...", upon hearing his invite for breakfast she smiled,"of course tom, nancy, and myself will be over soon", a soft tired voice could be heard from the stairs,"who is at the door mother?",as a tired eyed Nancy walked slowly down them, she wore her hair long and down her back while her night gown was long as we'll and long sleeved, she blinked up as she noticed shirou reaching the bottom of the steps,"good morning shirou" she told him sweetly as her mother shooed her back upstairs,"Nancy Anne! Upstairs this minute young lady be decent in the face of company..", Nancy was sent running back up the stairs as she turned to her mother," Sorry mother! Sorry Shirou!", she then disappeared into her room her mother turned back to Shirou"We will be over shortly", she informed him before shutting the door.

Shirou smiles when he sees Nancy come down and laughs softly when she runs back up the steps and he smiles at her mom." Very well I will wait for you to arrive."He says before turning as she closes the door and heads back home to his his mother and father sitting at the table and he smiles." We will be having guests over like old times."He says sitting down beside them and smiles." I will get food ready once they arrive but first I need a clean up."He says as his father helps him find some cloths that would fit him and then shirou moves to the bathroom and starts to clean up.

Nancy Harpenter Emily went back to her room where she braided parts of her hair and created a somewhat small crown around the base holding that together with bobby pins she then brushed out the rest as it naturally curled and she proceeded to inspect her clothes, she finally picked out a dress which she found suitable for the occasion she raced down the stairs slipped on some slippers and ran over to the Emiya's household she turned as her parents were walking out the door dad was already in his business suit he would have to leave for work in the next half hour, they entered the household at Shirous mother letting them in with greetings,"He is just tidying up go on in", she told them.. knowing after years of being neighbors they would just make themselves at home. They headed inside and the parents had coffee while Nancy watched the Television... It was more common to watch tv now days then listen to the radio and she liked seeing the different show that were offered this morning a romantic comedy late night a horror? The possibilities were endless. She continued watching as they all waited for Shirou.

Shirou came back down shortly after every one was there and he smiles." Good morning every one I will have food right up."He says as he heads to the kitchen and starts to make food for every one and soon the house was filled with all kinds of smells and soon he brought out dishes filled with food and sits them in the middle of the table before smiling." I don't know what every one likes so I made a little of every thing we had."He says laughing a little before he looks over at Nancy and smiles." Nancy its time to eat."He says as he pulls out a seat for her.

Nancy Harpenter Emily turned her head at the sound of Shirou's voice and she smiled slowly before getting up and sitting down in the chair she was offered,"Thank you", she said she looked around the other adults who seemed amused at the two and she gave them a curious look before turning back to Shirou,"Hey.. I know you just got home but..", she placed her hands in her lap,"What happened 10 years ago?", she then added,"Those people with the weird white suits.. they just...", she let out a sigh,"It doesn't make any sense what did they want you for anyways?".

Shirou sits down after Nancy took hers and looks over at her as the others started to get food and he smiles at her." How about we enjoy breakfast then I can tell you every thing."He says handing her a plate full of food before getting his own." Besides you can show me around town It has been ten years after all and I need to go see the old man."He says sitting down and his mother asked." Whos the old man you speak of?"Shirou turns and smiles." Hes the man that helpped me brake out of the labs I need to thank him for what he did for me."He says with a smile as he starts to eat his food.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy furrowed her brow but remained silent she wasn't sure why but she didn't have much of an appetite after she was told to wait. She did eat enough however so that no one was suspicious of her mood. She kept herself in perpetual silence until after the meal before she turned to her friend,"Excuse me", she said getting up from the table she walked out of the room into the hallway leading to the door. She opened the door and headed out crossing her arms in thought why was he trying to be secretive about it? And who was this old man... it must be that caped man who she seen yesterday. Lost in thought she stood there on the porch thinking as her parents both thanked the Emiya's as her father was preparing for work her mother offered to stay and clean up while Shirou's mother shooed him away,"Go have fun and catch up with nancy my child or thank that older man for helping you either way we will take care of the dishes", she told him as she continued to clean up the table. Nancy finally brooding sat down on the porch steps with her hands tucked under her chin for support while her elbows leaned on her knees she watched a bird chirping away for the upcoming summer and she finally sighed in frustration and headed out onto the lawn. .

Shirou ate and when every one was done he noticed at Nancy got up and left he also noticed that she didn't speak at all as they ate and after she left his mother ushered him out of the room and he walks out side and sees Nancy in the yard and he walks out behind her." Nancy whats wrong?"He asks softly." I told you I would tell you after we ate didn't I."He says as he walks past her as he heads towards the trees in the back of his yard." This is something my mother and father don't need to hear."He added his voice turning low as he spoke.

Nancy Harpenter Nancy turned at the sound of Shirou's voice he seemed slightly worried about her sudden mood change and she remained quiet as they both went into the trees surrounding their homes,"Its not that I just don't understand what your going to tell me is any different than what your parents should have heard", she told him,"I mean honestly I think everyone needs an explanation and also what are we going to tell everyone in town? The people we grew up with went to school with seen at the grocery store? They all thought you never existed or were kidnapped it make your parents look bad if you don't come up with a good excuse", she told him frowning,"Those people that took you... they were bad weren't they?", her voice was soft,"They seemed scary enough ever since you got back home I can remember that memory more clear even", she shuddered,"I don't understand it...".
