The blonde and bluenette were certainly far more observant than their dark-haired counterpart. They seemed to obtain the gist of the situation simply by comparing notes and taking in their situation at hand. Meanwhile, Melanie had yet to fully acknowledge her dire circumstance, choosing instead to continually berate the others. He found it truly amazing the woman had survived in the world of the dark guilds as she had. Granted, that was the beauty of them. One did not have to abide by the laws and justices of man when seeking out the path of darkness. He himself knew that well. Ciaran could not fault her for feeling as she had; however, it would have behooved her to at least try to play nice with the light mages. They will need to be watched closely, he surmised after a time. The two girls were still attempting to decipher the purpose for their kidnappings, and they were drawing rather close to the answer. Their deductive reasoning skills were quite impressive...and dangerous. It would not bode well if they were able to conjure a plan of attack together. While he doubted they would be able to escape, he could not deny they were highly capable individuals. One was a knight of Fiore, after all. To underestimate them would be troublesome. I think it time I stepped in to close off this conversation. He sighed heavily. It seemed his work was never finished.
“I admire your tenacity,” Ciaran said as he at last revealed himself to the three. “But you would do well to heed this advice- attempting to work together will only end in more strife than is necessary. You would be better off sitting silently during your time on this vessel for you never know who might be listening.” His yellow eyes glanced from one girl to the next. The meaning of his pointed silence was clear to all, noting his entrance as the perfect example. “Besides, there isn’t really anything you can do to help your situation. It’s a waste of time trying to figure out the particulars of why you’re here. Just know that you are.”

Guild- Independent | Rank- Delta | Magic- Celestial Spirit | Jewel- 500,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ She had to agree. There was simply no plausible way these individuals could get away with the sheer number of kidnappings they had without being professionals. Their years of training and experience would lend well to their ability to intermingle and evade. Mizuki reached up to touch the scarf tied around her neck. Even those responsible for the scar hidden beneath had not been able to succeed in this way. And they had been well practiced. A frown marred her features as she pondered the implications. “They are well-organized. That is for certain,” she mused in a whisper, directing her words to Evie. “I would not be surprised if they were spread all throughout the kingdom. Perhaps they might even reside among other kingdoms as well.” It was a thought she did not like to consider. If their captors had such a long reach, then there would be less chance of evasion and escape further in. Not only was she concerned about that, but was it possible these people were operating within her own kingdom as well? The Eridani princess did not believe them to be the same individuals from all those years before though it was possible they could be affiliated somehow. Could that be another reason for their kidnapping then? Evie was a princess of Fiore in addition to being a knight. Teal eyes glanced over at Melanie. Is she a princess as well? The dark-haired girl did not compose herself as one. Then again, neither did Mizuki. It was her way of being able to move throughout the kingdoms without setting a target on her back. And what of Chloe? Would the time come where she would be held here with them? There were so many questions and possibilities and so little information to go on. Melanie’s antics were not fruitful either.
Mizuki heaved a weary sigh. The older woman’s yelling was irritating and distracting. It also was cause for concern since it would likely draw attention. Evie, despite meaning well, was not helping matters with her comments either. What was needed now was calm, rational minds. They did not need to be at each other’s throats or making disparaging remarks. “We are not going to get far if we keep being at odds,” she shook her head. “Can we at least agree to focus on our situation for the time being?” She cast her gaze from Melanie to Evie. “Trust or not, we are in trouble. The fact we are on a boat is a problem for all of us. It means we are being sent somewhere that cannot be reached by land. We should be thinking about where and why instead of bickering. Yelling is not wise either since it could…” Her words were silenced by the appearance of a tall, armored male. His arrival was the exact thing she had tried to warn against. His words were laced with the threat of retribution should they fail to heed his advice. Yet Mizuki knew that she would not heed them. If there was a chance, no matter how slight, that figuring out what was going on would lend to an escape then she would continue to do so. “What would be the harm in telling us?” The cerulean-haired teenager stared up at the man who appeared to be in his late twenties. “If, as you say, there is nothing we can do then there is no reason we should not know why you have taken us captive.” ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

★━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Melanie hated nothing more than being around the ignorant and not being able to attack them was annoying as hell. That was the only way she was going to teach them a lesson, and it would greater make her feel so much better. If she could figure a way to join these kidnappers than maybe she could escape and get exactly what she wanted. Kill these brats or torment them and be free herself. But the one who brought her here, she would never in two million years ever choose to get along with them. Screw them into hell!! If her guild mates ever found out where she was at, they would give her s**t until the day she perishes. Melanie did not care what it took to get herself out of these chains, she had to make every attempt she could. She had a damn reputation to hold, and nothing was going to stop her. Where was that damn Zalaph when she needed him?? He was probably out looking for food, not even wondering where his own master was at. She should be easy enough for him to sniff out. After they were out, she was going to have to have a stern talk with him.
Pah, like she'd ever get along with some legal mages. She was fine handling the situation on her own, she did not ever require anyones help, especially that of a legal mage! "I'm not agreeing to nothing! Honestly, who cares where they take us to? They slipped up by thinking they could take me! I'll beat there asses no matter what location we are at!" Melanie kind of ranted on, she held a lot of anger to let out. That was the steam talking. The dark mage did not give two craps about shouting loud banters across the whole entire ship, she was in a rage, and that was not easily quelled. Even when Mizuki was stating not to, because it may draw unwanted attention. "Yeah?? Let those assholes hear me!! I don't give a shyt! I want them to all know they are going to be dead after messing with me, they are better off hiding!" She spoke out loud, wanting nothing more than to get herself out of these chains, and make them all fear for their pathetic lives. Really, she was mad irritated right now. Who did these people think they were?? Finally, one of the rats decided to show them self. Now she needed some plan to using him to get out of here. "Hey, why trap me with these losers too? Honestly, I'm all for doing whatever it is you're doing with them, as long as it is chaotic. Why not join forces?" Melanie really strove to control the anger she felt, if she could pretend to join and be free, than she could potentially reign all the chaos she wanted. And right now, she needed that. To relieve her anger, but also entertain herself in the mean time.

It was true, in fact, these kidnappers were much too organized. They were able to do it so cleanly, without one witness at all. Without making one tiny mistake, to the point it was beyond the point of perfection. How could that even be possible? And what made matters worst, if they were truly that smart, how were they going to be able to trick them into escaping? That could prove to be rather difficult. However that, it could not be impossible. She believed in the phrase, if there was a driven will, there will always be a way. You just had to think outside the box. Than there was the question, spreading throughout the country meant they could be dealing with a much bigger percentage of these individuals. This was just all too much. "Let's just hope that's not the case, there would be soo many, and almost impossible to know if they are one of these guys." Evie pointed out, not wanting to believe they were associated in every single kingdom. Although, at this point, it seemed very probable.
Evie sighed, the hope was that Melanie would just team up for now, three heads were stronger than one. But she was far too stubborn, and she was starting to become irritated with her behavior. She was clearly just faking trying to agree to team up just to most likely use them. The fact was, Evie knew about every little event that her guild had done. At the end of the day, she didn't feel like she could ever trust her. If she had to watch over these kidnappers actions and Melanie, it would just become an annoyance. Likewise, if she couldn't help but think like that, than telling her to prove herself probably wasn't going to work either, depending on the action of course. She felt really conflicted now, to want to trust, but deep down she didn't believe she could. This woman, along with all of her guild members, were not someone you'd want to put your trust into. They never did anything to help others, it was always something terribly evil for themselves. However, Mizuki was right. If they kept arguing with one another, this was only going to make the situation much more difficult. Bickering never led to anything but adding on to the trouble that they were already into. Evie sighed a bit, glancing back towards Mizu. "Sorry Mizu, you're right. We should not be going at one another right now. This is not the time or place for that. We all share the same goal and that is all we should be focusing on." If this was going to work, she was going to have to forget about every single thing Melanie had done in the past, and just write her off as some stranger in her mind. If she says something that annoys her? Than she'll simply have to be ignored, or she'll try and remedy her emotions if she gets too out of hand. Which, she figured she would.
Evie suddenly noticed another presence nearby, gazing to where the voice was echoing from. A white hair male in armor came out, most likely from hiding. D-did he hear everything they had said?? That could pose a problem, but at the same time, it was a good thing they hadn't come up with a plan yet. If he knew about it, it was never going to be put into action. There was so much wrong being said from this male, as she held the most serious stare to her gaze. Working together meant putting together each one's ideas, and having each others back so if one slipped up, the other could catch them and help them back up. Doing nothing was probably the worst possible thing to do in most situations, if not all. It made sense though, he would not want them working together. Because they would become stronger and smarter. Why was he even bothering to tell them this? Why did he not keep hiding, until he heard their plan? Did he rush in possibly because they were close to discovering the truth? She than heard Mizuki, which she could not agree with more. She would wait, hoping that in these next few minutes, this man would be telling them what their purpose of gathering them all here was. tab ship tab tab mizu, mel, cia tab tab current biggest pic

Folding his arms across his chest, he studied the cerulean-haired girl. She was perceptive and had a keen intellect. The way she spoke denoted an education moreso seen in the nobility, though it was apparent she attempted to hide this. Perhaps she was the daughter of a duke or knight? His yellow eyes shifted to the blonde seated across from the other girl. She did not speak in the same manner as the bluenette, but Ciaran already knew of her roots. The younger sister of Chloe Fiore, Evie Fiore had chosen the path of knighthood. Unfortunately, it appeared as if she needed some more practice. She had been taken far too easily for a knight. He would have to remember to toy with her about that later. For now, however, he wanted to discourage any sense of camaraderie…at least until the ship was well underway when they would not be his problem to manage.
Ciaran pivoted slightly, staring intently at the black-haired one. She was the loudest of them all as well as the most abusive. Her status as a dark mage was not given lightly. He recalled a few of her exploits from over the years. They were certainly some of the most despicable he had heard of. A fact of which he approved highly. Yet, unlike the blue-haired male in the other ship, she did not make for a good candidate to recruit. Not only because of her volatile nature, but also due to the fact she herself was a guild master; although, he had yet to understand how someone such as herself could become one. There was so much she needed to learn. Closing his eyes, Ciaran blew out a breath. “You do realize I have been able to hear every word you have been yelling, yes? As much as I am for chaos, you would not do well in a pact with me. Besides, you are needed just as much as these two are.” He glanced back at Mizuki. “In answer to your question…there is no harm in knowing. I merely find more fun to be had in keeping you in the dark. As for the reason, you will find that out soon enough. Honestly, if I were you, I would consider my prior advice. Sit quietly and use the time to ready yourselves for what is to come.” Jerking his thumb at Melanie, he added, “You will especially need to steel your nerves being held here with that one.”

Guild- Independent | Rank- Delta | Magic- Celestial Spirit | Jewel- 500,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ Mizuki inclined her head in thanks to Evie. She had no doubt it was a difficult task for the knight to overcome her biases. While she knew very little of the dark-haired girl, she gleaned enough from her current actions to know she was not easily dealt with. A point being made more clear with every passing moment. Melanie had yet to truly grasp their situation. Instead of helping them plan and agreeing to work with them, she continuously berated, demeaned, and shouted. Her eyebrow twitched as the tirade pressed on. How could the girl not see the fault in her actions? “How exactly do you intend to do that?” The Eridani princess asked after a moment. Teal orbs stared questioningly at the raving woman. “These people are smart enough to have kidnapped mages and have not gotten caught in the process. The very chains you are fettered in are magic restraining ones. Do you honestly believe you have any power to harm them, let alone kill them?” She scoffed and shook her head. “Very well. I can see we cannot come to an accord. In that case, we will leave you be.”
Looking over at Evie, she gave a nod of acquiescence. It was a gesture meant to leave the blonde to her own decision in the matter. Should she choose to go along with Mizuki, then that would be that, yet she would not force it upon her. Evie had a right to decide if she wanted to proceed with the original intention of allying themselves with the dark mage. Mizuki did have one more thing to say, however. The racket Melanie was making was sure to draw attention. The teenager tried to warn her against it, but she ignored the warning. As their luck would have it, the constant noise had indeed garnered the attention of a white-haired man. She watched him as he had studied her. His yellow orbs held a keen intellect behind them that bespoke of danger. He was a man not to be trifled with. Mizuki cocked her head to one side. Her curiosity was piqued by his words. Where could they be sending us? There were a few places she could recall that required travel by ship. Some were as short as a week’s worth of travel and others a month or more. The questions were where and for what purpose? Weighing her options, she deigned to press her luck a small bit. “If we are to find out soon, then why not tell us now? Surely, making us wait longer cannot provide that much pleasure…” He was correct about one thing. They would certainly need to steady their nerves with Melanie about. ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

Every second of being held here without knowing even why was just making Melanie more mad by the minute. She was ready for anything, ready to fight back to anyone, and anything, it did not matter to here in which it ended up being. Her dark gaze jolted back towards the cerulean haired child, was she really just going to sit there and underestimate her abilities?? She would hiss in annoyance. "It's exactly as you say, they used cheap means. They are absolutely pathetically weak, that that was all they could do to capture?? No, a powerful person would capture mages by fighting them! That way, the ones caught would dare not mess with them! Once I free myself of these chains, I will one hundred percent go all out and kill all these bastards!!" Melanie spoke to her, already threatening whomever these bastards were without a shred of care. As long as she kept her guard up, she knew there must be some way to free herself. She would just have to try every option until she found it. She would hold zero mercy for these legal mages as well. They best know not to trust her, or it'll be there last and most fatal mistake. She was mentally preparing herself for anything, for whatever the reason would be that they were gathering all mages here.
Than came the thought of asking this male here to join forces, surely they would need someone with magic to help with this little task. However, she had no actual intention of helping. It was a means of escaping and that was all there was to it. "You think I care?? If I didn't want anyone to hear, I would of chosen to whisper. I don't give a damn what you heard. " Her anger started to fuel even more, with the fact he denied her generous offer. "You'll regret ever making that decision, mark my words!" Melanie hissed back towards the man in utter resentment. At this point, she was uncaring of what the reason for being here was. Her two goals at the moment were, free herself and kill everyone. That's it. Nobody, and she means NOBODY, treats her in this way! And she'll be damned before she allows this to continue any further! By that point, she was on the brink, the very edge. Everyone was pissing her off, looking down on her, she would show them! Melanie began rattling against her chains, putting every ounce of energy she had in order to try and yank herself free. Even if her energy was depleted by the end, she could easily rest since there was probably a long journey ahead. However, in this moment, it was either make an attempt to escape, or be stuck here for god knows how long, and she was completely against the last option. But no matter how many times she used all her strength to yank against the chains, it would not budge, not even an inch. But it did not stop her from trying. The second the male pointed a finger at her, she lost it. "I swear, I'm going to get out of here, and you will be begging for mercy for ever turning me down!" She spoke angrily while gritting her teeth, pulling against the chains with all that she had, trying to get at him.

If there was even just one piece of information of why they were brought here sharing one detail, Evie might have been able to piece it together. The last piece of the puzzle was missing, and she desperately needed to find it. She and Mizu were doing so well on deciphering the code, but it did not last long enough, when Mel's loud mouth had drawn attention. If only she could get into contact with at least one person, this whole situation was unnerving to say in the least. Closing her eyes while the others spoke, she wondered to herself, if they were per say traveling by boat, than what places could they potentially be heading to? Knowing some of the locations might indeed helps with this. However, Evie wasn't too aware of all the places out there. There was Mizuki's kingdom, in fact probably quite a couple of kingdoms out there, but she had her doubts on that being where they could be taken to. By this point, she was drawing blanks. She was not too well versed on what other places were truly out there. She had not really ever taken the time to learn of other lands..a mistake on her part. Had she had any knowledge of outside lands, she might of been able to crack down a few guesses. But it was what it was. There was nothing she could do to remedy that.
It did not appear that this man was ever going to budge on telling what they were being captured for. She couldn't help but think..if something like that brought him pleasure, than would it not be more pleasurable to tell if-and only if the truth were something truly terrible? What kind of mind games was he trying to play? Evie thought to maybe bribe with information, but honestly wasn't too sure on that. To be fair, he already knows they really want the information, desperation sometimes led down too far. "Hm, what about trading for that information? Possibly there is something you seek for?" She questioned, though if there was anything at all, dependent on what it was, she may not agree to trading information. In the long run, he would be losing nothing, as it was already stated how they'd learn soon. But if they were going to be fully prepared, they had to at the very least have that knowledge as early as possible. To be quite honest, she kept thinking how maybe it was that they were all being sold off. It would make sense, being transported, Mizuki and herself being from a kingdom, and than the leader of a dark guild. Something like that could probably run one so much money to sell. But guessing was going to get her nowhere. She had to be absolutely sure on the reason.

| Rank- Omega | Magic- Soul of the Pumpkin King, Demon Keys, Nullification, Arc of Embodiment, Seith, Darkness |☯ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ☯ The dark mage rolled his eyes at her threat. She was lacking in imagination, in originality. To merely threaten his pain and suffering without an example was amateurish. If he had been in her shoes, he would at least have provided a descriptive. Perhaps he was asking too much of Melanie. His fellow dark mage had been so easily captured, after all, so it should be no surprise how limited her scope was. No, the more she prattled on about how she was going to kill and maim everyone, the more convinced he became that his decision to ignore an alliance with her was for the best. Again, he had to wonder if his information on her rank was correct. She had been stated as guild master, but he saw no evidence of the required skills for it. In fact, he had seen more potential in the boy held captive on the other ship; although, that was not saying too much. Finally tired of Melanie’s ravings, Ciaran stepped forward and squatted down. He was certain to keep his distance so that she could not attack him. “Threaten all you desire but it is all for naught. You will do what is asked of you or you will never leave this ship. Your worth only gets you so far. As a guild master, I would assume you had better situational awareness, but all I have heard thus far is bluster and pomp. Both of which I grow tired of. So, I ask that you either be quiet or I will have to make you be so.” As he spoke, he allowed some of his own malevolence seep into his tone. Ciaran wanted to make it perfectly clear Melanie held no say here.
Standing to his feet, he shifted his focus to the other girls. He addressed Mizuki first since she had been the first to speak. “You might be surprised. It is all in the psychological warfare. The less you know, the more I can play. It is not so difficult to understand.” He saw the understanding in her gaze. Noted the focus shift inward, as if she were contemplating a next move. It gave him pause. Not because it frightened him in any manner, but rather it made him curious. The cerulean-haired girl could not have been more than fifteen years old yet she held more composure than the eldest. There was something more to her that he could not quite pin down. Even in his research, he had not been able to decipher more than the basics. She was a mage and friends with the princesses. Nothing else had come from his digging. Studying her a moment longer, he made a mental note to delve deeper into this girl. For now, he would switch his attention to the lighter-haired girl. “Possibly,” he said, intrigued by her proposition, though not committing. “What information do you have to offer? I cannot imagine there would be anything meaningful you would be willing to give up just to get a location from me.”

Guild- Independent | Rank- Delta | Magic- Celestial Spirit | Jewel- 500,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ The Eridani princess shook her head. It was time she disengaged from Melanie. The woman would clearly be no help to them. So bent on shouting and threatening everyone as she was. Instead, she turned her entire focus on the man and his words. It was obvious he was becoming as annoyed with the other girl as they were. The only difference was he could act on those feelings, and he likely would not be polite about it. A fact made apparent by the sheer malevolence pouring from him. Even after he finished speaking to Melanie, the effect could still be seen in him. His admittance of enjoying the psychological torment only added to it as well. Mizuki chose not to respond to him, to press him further. As he stated, he gained too much pleasure from keeping them in the dark. They would need to decipher their predicament on their own. If she and Evie pulled their collective knowledge of the world, then they were certain to narrow down the culprits behind these kidnappings. She had a few kingdoms in mind already. Places that were constantly requesting help from others. Some closer. Some more distant. It was something to discuss outside the presence of the man. Mizuki did not want him to know what, if anything, they discovered. For it could ultimately help with their plans of escape.
She had been lost in thought, contemplating their next moves, when Evie’s words broke into her concentration. Tilting her head to the side, she gave her friend a curious look. Her gaze held her question. What are you doing? Evie was not only a knight but a princess, even if the second was not an officially known rank. She held a mountain of knowledge about Fiore. While Mizuki did not think she would give any information of value away, she had to wonder what she could possibly think of trading that would entice Ciaran. It did not seem prudent. Yet she waited patiently. Ultimately unsurprised by his probing. Despite her misgivings on the approach, she trusted Evie and would go along with her idea. She just hoped that the knight knew what she was offering. ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ ✸ OOC ✸ Oops! Sorry about that. I think I did confuse it with the other one. All Melanie wanted in this moment, was to brutally murder this annoying male whom stood before them all. In her eyes, he was nothing. Just another of these weaklings working on this ship, making the assumption they all had no magic. She did not care how to murder him, just that she could get that glory and shut his annoying self up. Getting caught up in this was just a huge waste of her time, there were much more important goals she needed to close out. She worked day and night for these goals, no matter the hour and hard work that was spent into it. All of that hard work was being wasted by being caught off guard for only a mere few seconds to be captured here. If she hadn't been so caught up in her goal, she might have noticed this suspicious stalker before they could reach her. But regretting her actions to the point would not help, it did not help her escape from here. If she wanted to get out, she needed an actual plan of attack. If there was a deep enough will, there would always be a way out of any situation, no matter what. That being said, the reason of being captured here still plagued her mind. Why? What could the reason be? She hardly cared, it wasn't of her concern to say in the least. Just that these lesser rats really thought they had any power over her, pissed her off into the highest extent.
The male was seemingly starting to become annoyed with her, not that she cared quite frankly. The fact they really thought they could keep her here, for even that long, was preposterous! "How cute, you think you can get me to do what you say and even to stay here, really, you are foolish if you think that. I do things how I deem fit, and I will be getting off this stupid ship, I have my own things that need to get done. I have no time for weak pests. Anyone who can't use magic, that type of weakness might as well not exist." Melanie would spat back angrily, still clearly agitated. She had such a strong desire to kill off all weaklings, because in the end; they would never survive anyway. Weaklings shouldn't be allowed to even exist. And yet, a ship full of them all stood here. Which made her even more pissed off, a group with NO magic, thinking they could tell her what to do! Absolutely maddening! "What I am and do, is of no business to you. Just so were clear, I will NEVER do a thing an ignorant fool such as yourself would ask. So why don't you go crawl back into your little hiding spot and hide away like the coward you are? " She spoke in a very cold tone, staring daringly into his own gaze.

No matter how hard Evie pondered on what the purpose of them being caught here was, she just could not come up with an answer. There could be so many reasonings, but to guess, wasn't always the greatest outcome. Surely, whatever the reason it was, it bore no good intentions. Even after examining everything said and done so far, she couldn't come up with a single new piece of information. And even if she had, it wouldn't matter; until she and Mizuki could be alone somewhere. She wasn't even sure if that time would come, but she'd have to remain positive. She wasn't aware of too many islands outside of Fiore, so it was like traveling into lands she was unfamiliar with. The only way to get through that, she would have to memorize everything, every piece of land and detail. That way, if she managed to escape with Mizuki, they could find a way out. The whole time everyone else was talking, she was completely lost in her own thoughts.
That was, until Evie brought up if she could trade the information. It was the only thing she could think of to get what they'd needed, as he would not answer so willingly. "Not just a location, I'm talking the entire plan, not a single detail left out." She spoke in a serious tone, now the information to trade? That could be quite difficult to think of. It had to be something good enough to trade, but not enough to put information into the wrong hands. That was probably going to be the most difficult problem right now, thinking of the information. Truth be told, there wasn't really anything she could give away, but also nothing of decent value to trade. This was rather aggravating, so close, yet so far. She could not help but sigh out of frustration. If they could get the information, they would be lots of steps closer to conjuring up an escape plan. She managed to think of something to get one step closer, but was unable to back up her own proposition. "Hm, I can't think of even one thing to trade. What about you, Mizuki? Do you think there is anything to trade for?" She asked her, wondering if she had an idea, since she was only drawing blanks herself. ((OOC: No worries! ^^' oo I don't know why, I thought all family only had 1 princess to choose from a family. xD Nah, don't worry about it! you don't need to edit anything. cx ))

| Rank- Omega | Magic- Soul of the Pumpkin King, Demon Keys, Nullification, Arc of Embodiment, Seith, Darkness |☯ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ☯ More pomp and bluster, Ciaran sighed internally. Is that really all she is capable of? He had hoped for more from the dark mage. As it stood, the amount of bravado displayed was disproportionate to her skills. If she were capable of doing even an iota of what she claimed, then she should have at the least escaped from her bindings by that point. Yet she still remained securely bound in place. Ciaran cast a sidelong glance at the woman. Dare I even bother to enlighten her? He mulled the thought over for a moment, all the while hearing her prattle on about weakness and her defiance. Drawing in a deep breath, he exhaled slowly through his nose. “You,” he shifted to face her once more. “Have no idea of the situation in which you find yourself. You believe I am the one in charge? That it is I whom will order you? Oh no, my dear. I am but hired hand. A…tamer, if you will. The ones who will command you are far worse than I. Remember that as you shout your nonsense at them. For they will not be kind.” He went to move away but hesitated, adding, “And that weakness you speak of? Ask yourself this- is it better to be weak and free or strong and in chains?” Ciaran left her to ponder his words. For the time being, his attention would be on the other two mages.
He smirked at the blonde’s demand. “I am not so sure I desire to give every detail. Though, I suppose if the information were valuable enough…” The dark mage allowed the sentence to drop, letting the girls infer his meaning. Ciaran doubted they held any intelligence worth cultivating. His suspicions were confirmed almost instantly. “You mean to say you make an offer but have nothing to give?” He chortled. “That does not make for a negotiation. But I do give you credit for piquing my interest…as short lived as it was. Care to try again?” Ciaran looked from the blonde to the bluenette. Surely, they could provide a bit more entertainment before he was needed elsewhere.

Guild- Independent | Rank- Delta | Magic- Celestial Spirit | Jewel- 500,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ Mizuki waited with bated breath to see what Evie would offer to Ciaran. Being of royal heritage and a knight, there was a multitude of things the girl could speak on. The elder princess merely hoped that it would not be anything vital to Fiore. Her worries were short-lived, however. As it appeared, Evie did not have anything specific in mind to divulge. Mizuki breathed a sigh of relief. “No,” she shook her head, looking over at the other girl. “I cannot think of anything that I am willing to give for mere information.” She caught the man’s eye. “Perhaps something valuable enough to exchange for our freedom…yet I doubt you will be amenable to such ideas.” The Celestial Spirit Mage did not believe the man would free them, no matter what sort of information they held; however, it was worth attempting. The worst he could do was laugh at her boldness. Despite her certainty on the matter, she would need to come up with something to provide should he choose to surprise her.

Melanie let out a growl, warning this man he was sprawling within dangerous waters, by messing with her. She bet if she were outside these chains, there wasn't a doubt in her mind that she would be the one to completely obliterate him in terms of power. After all, everyone working her wielded no magical powers, assuming that's all they were requiring when they captures a mage. It was going to be the biggest mistake of their misrable lives by messing her with. The second she was free, all there would be left is corpses and flames, maybe even some ashes. How dare these idiots even dare so much to speak to her, as is tell her what to do. "If you're not one of the higher ups, than it's really pointless to even talk to you, I may as well be talking to dirt. That's all you are, absoltely worthless. Count your days, because once I get out of here, you're going to be the very first I crush into a non existance." Melanie would smirk at the very thought of torturing this pathetic man to death before finally letting him die. She vowed to remember his face, and everything about him, so he would stick out like a sore thumb to her vision, and go for that kill. Not only him, but she still held resentment towards the one who brought her here, whom was her next target on the hit list. The other two captures, she could honestly care less about. But if they chose to get in the way, than they would not be spared.
"I don't give a crap who the higher charge is, they're all dead as soon as I find a way out. I need not know their name or remember their looks, because they'll be in the ground, never to be seen again!" Melanie merely laughed at whatever question or riddle he was trying to pull. "Someone weak has no reason to live, if they weren't caught, than it means they were not wanted. Because who actually wants weakness? Now someone strong in chains, is going to get out weather or not you agree. Someone like ME" She would exagurate the last word, referencing to herself if the point wasn't made clear enough with her long standing gaze. Melanie did not give in their, she continued to struggle against her chains, any attempt to remove herself from them, was better than sitting and twiddling thumbs. She wasn't going to sit here any longer and throw words back. She had other plans, this place was not one of them. The harder she pulled, the more she would growl in turn.
