Reven'd stared down the fang lined muzzle of a couple of hungry youma in her duties as a guardian, and could admit to finding them pretty frightening, however the captain she'd met seemed...okay. He was just a small sampling, though. "He was walking her home from work and they got attacked by a youma. He powered up to save her. I guess he even got a power bump in the process, so he was a captain when Labryrinath had him corrupted like a week later."

"Huh." Silk was silent for a moment. So that was where that new guy came from. He almost wanted to say the dude was a dumb a** for outed himself like that but something stopped him from saying the words. It was a bit of grudging respect that he did so to protect someone he cared about...but clearly he hadn't known...but that was okay. He was on the right side of things now. "Well, that's cool." It almost could have been sarcastic, but the kitten meant it. "I heard about the memory stuff though---does he still remember his friend or what? Because that'd be kinda shitty to go through that stuff just to forget."

"Yeah, I just wish she'd stop worrying about him." Reven sighed dramatically. "She thinks he's gunna just turn around and resent her one day for having him corrupted, but I think she's worrying for no reason. Dude seems happy. The girl he's really into turned out to be a senshi thing on our side, Amphitrite." She'd been there in the rift as well. "But yeah, he remembers her and most of his civilian life. Can't recall s**t about being a knight, but that's fine. For the best, really. Means he was pretty much a blank slate for your general to mold into a good soldier." All good things, in her opinion. She looked up again, head tilting. "Do you ever do, you know, non-work related things? Like explore, or hang out, or play games? Like, off duty?" The pale kitten wasn't counting this, since she was giving him a update on what she'd been doing as an active, contributing guardian of the Negaverse.

Silk just nodded his head idly. He didn't have much else to say to that. While he heard of the memory loss, he wasn't exactly knowledgeable in it, and no one else on his team suffered from it so...it wasn't something he concerned himself with right now. "That's all that matters, really." He replied. That he remembered his friend, and that he was in Labyrinthite's hands now. It was the perfect place for him. "Huh?" Silk blinked at the question before giving her a look that said duh. "Yeah." He said, his tone also saying duh. "I explore the city and hang out with my senshi when she's not powered. She's a mechanic so I help her work on cars and stuff. Watch T.V. and movies. Eat corndogs..." Yeah, that summed up his life pretty well. "Why?"

Reven had to agree with that. She did't know that many generals yet, but Labyrinthite seemed a good choice for Nissonite. Tough, but he took care of his team, and that was important. She just looked up at him as his tone, brows arching. "I've never had a corn dog." At least she didn't remember ever having tried one. Things before she'd been corrupted were a little muddled, foggy. "She fixes cars? That's pretty ********' awesome." Useful skill to have, too. The why was sort of tricky to answer. "I dunno, just curious I guess," she said a little defensively, cagey.

"Well you should have a corn dog." Silk replied as if that was the most obvious thing in the world. "There's this stand that has them in one of the parks near the big mall---those are the best ones. You can just go and snatch one. The guy gets easily distracted." Man. He could really go for one right now. Maybe he'd grab one on the way back to the manor... " Yeah, it's pretty ******** awesome." Silk replied, a clear and obvious pride coloring his voice, but that dissipated as Reven answered his question. "Uh huh. Why are you sounding like a little whiny brat right now then?"

Pale ears saddled, shifting the Google's on her head. "I'm not!" Except she kind of was, and she knew it. With a flick of her tail Reven sat up again, avoiding the other kittens gaze for a long moment before looking back. "I thought maybe... wecouldhangoutsometime." He was significantly cooler than Bob, not that that was hard, and of the mau Reven had met was probably the one she talked to most. Related to the best. Lace seemed nice, but too nice, and the other two were just...old. But she still seemed sullen for having had to say it. "..maybe get a corndog."

"Uh. Huh." Silk's eyes widened a bit in a wtf is wrong with you look. "Okay? That's fine and s**t. Why are you getting your googles in knots about that? Hanging out isn't a big deal." Maybe all those movies and t.v. shows were right. Girls were weird. Regan didn't count though. She was a lady. "Sure. We can go to that stand I told you about next time."

Really she'd been expecting him to say no, so when he agreed easily it came as a bit of a shook to the pale kitten. "Oh." Now what? She hadn't been prepared for it to be that easy. "Well, good. Okay." Her tail flicked. "That's all I've got for news on my end." She was really going to have to buckle down and figure out just what she could provide that the Negaverse needed. Nothing came to mind, but maybe she just needed to keep getting out there, doing more, meeting more agents and senshi.

"Alright. Next time we meet up, we'll hit the corn dog stand, and give you a real education." Seriously, who didn't have a corn dog? They weren't living unless they did! Silk stood, and took a moment to stretch out before he bounded ahead a bit. He paused after landing on a leaf, enjoying the way it crinkled, and then looked back at the other kitten. "Keep at it, Reven." He said. "You're doing good. See ya around." Silk then continued on, heading home.

"I look forward to it." She chuckled, finally relaxed again now that that whole weirdness had been settled. And the praise. She liked the sound of that. It was one thing to hear Rory say it, but Silk was a peer, he knew better what was expected of her. It made her grin widely. "See ya!" lucyal Wrap for me too! They're fun * w*
