Something has happened.... Both of the hulking creatures begin to sniff and snuff their way into the house....at the same time.
It makes for a comical situation, if the two inside weren't so terrified. Both of the creatures were now stuck...well, their heads were stuck...their...skulls?! Were stuck inside the doorframe. Both of them began to make soft, sad noises of distress, as the more they struggled, the more they got their antlers entangled.
The third figure approached behind the two currently comically stuck together in the doorframe, and if the two inside were able to see, they would see it was a third creature....with a skull-masked figure riding atop it. The ropes and charms and vines adorning the horns swayed and clinked a few times as they slid off the third, slightly bigger creature and made their way towards the doorframe. Seven tails fanned out behind and around her, each one with a stripe of spiked quill-like growths down the length.
"Dear, dear...I let you both explore and look what you do. Terrifying others..." The voice was distorted behind the mask, yet the two inside could swear they could hear it as if it were right beside them. It was soft, almost melodious. Calming, and yet as it was directed at the two creatures, stern.
"Don't be alarmed....Let me help these two, and you both can come out." The voice assured as the skull-masked figure gently began to unhook the tangled horns.
The creatures themselves stayed still, rumbling and almost kneading the ground, which created gouges in the porch with their claws.

"They can't fit in the house," Kaden pointed out between grit teeth as Glacier objected to returning to the house. Instead opting to run. They sputtered at the question of if they could float. "That takes concentration I don't have right now!"
Magic did come easy to Geists, that was true, but it'd been a while since Kaden had really... done anything with theirs. Simply wasn't a need in their daily life. Even as Glacier was on their feet and gripping Kaden's hand, the Geist was still trying to drag the Bakeneko back into the house.
Far enough that the creatures... well. Couldn't get any further in at them. Kaden stared, dumbfounded as the massive... skull heads and antlers became entangled, clattering sounds building between the pair. The third one--the biggest one--continued to approach, and over the bulk of the two caught in the doorframe, Kaden made out the shape on top of the bigger one...
A person. Someone was speaking. Kaden's pulse was still going a mile a minute, and they were still clinging to Glacier's hand, but their eyes were opened wide and staring blankly at the skull-masked and trinket adorned person. Kumiho? Sort of one, anyways, looked like...?
"These... these are yours?" The fact that Kaden's voice trembled a bit as they spoke was fine enough with them--they didn't squeak, so anything else was still a step-up from what they'd expected to hear from their own mouth. "Is... this place yours, too?" Might explain the haunted rumors...

Glacier gave a soft noise of protest as they were dragged back towards the house, and when the voice came from the fog, that was it. It was all just too much. And the slight knowledge that Kayden and themself might not be about to die at this very moment was such a profound relief that the baekenko gave a soft whimper and sank back to the ground, fur laying back down. All of the adrenaline seemed to drain from them and with a sigh, Glacier just seemed to turn into a puddle, no longer fighting the unconsciousness that gripped them after headbutting the door.
Kayden seemed clam so…why shouldn’t they be?
After all…
…Well after all it didn’t matter much now.

 "It is not my place, no. The earth was beginning to reclaim it, and I was helping it along a bit." After finally untangling the massive creatures' antlers, she gestured to the porch of the house, at the plantlife that had been growing between the spaces in the planks, and at the moss slowly creeping up the siding.
"As for these two..." She pat the two creatures affectionately, though one was trying desperately to shove itself back in. "Well...who am I to deny them a choice? They seemed...drawn to you both."
Stepping between the two creatures, the being was finally revealed fully. A Kumiho, indeed. thought it was near impossible to see her face with the skull obscuring it, it was just as impossible to miss her exposed ribcage...and the softly glowing, pulsing orb that hovered within.
"Some call them monsters. But truly, they are gentle creatures, wickerbears. If they haven't put you off...?" Tilting her head to one side, the question was left hanging as the two creatures glanced at each of the...er...ruffled people.These wickerbears seem to have chosen their new companions...Will they be accepted? Or turned away?

The fact the Bakeneko full on passed out--or at least was close to it--had Kaden in slight fits trying to switch their grip to slip under Glacier's arms. At least to keep the other from slipping onto the ground and cracking their head or something. One of their hands pressed just above the left part of Glacier's chest, checking for a pulse--legit.
Their... visitor though was calm and collected, completely undisturbed by the skull-faced bears that snuffed and huffed along the porch. Creatures she matched with her own horned skull mask covering her features. And... bones of her own, they realized with a faint shiver along the nape of their neck. Litch infusion, or incredibly... ancient?
Indeed, Kaden was intrigued by this notion of helping nature in the act of reclaiming the grounds the house was built upon. "Are you a witch, then?" There was no ill-will infused in the word, merely a question towards a profession--or calling, or affinity, whichever it might be. But the Giest drew back slightly to hear the wickerbears were... drawn to them.
Black and white eyes narrowed slightly at the massive creatures. One with a pale body and glowing purple eyes gazed back at them, its ears perking slightly beneath the antlers before it again tried to nudge its way back towards the doorway. If they hadn't put them off...?
It took Kaden a few moments for their head to catch up to everything. And what was being implied. Or questioned. Something like that. "I-I... uhh...!" They looked between the wickerbears and the possibly out of it Glacier. "S-sure? Ok? Yes?" They stared bewildered at the Kumiho, then at the wickerbear that seemed to want to keep catching their eye. Slowly, a disbelieving smile crossed their lips. "Will make it easier to help get my friend home, I suppose..?"
