Nix hadn't actually expected her to aim rather well, so didn't try terrifically hard to dodge.

Which was, clearly, a mistake if he didn't want to get hit this time, as Cheom landed a hit on him as he slid to the side, causing the boy to let out a grunt. It stung a bit, but not terribly so.

He grinned at her, in spite of thinking, always pay attention, self! "Good!" he declared, and nodded. "Now do it again!"

This time, though, as she moved in for another punch, he took his own swing at her. Lightly, of course, he didn't want to knock her about too much, just...provide a bit of surprise and off-balance..ness...things. Yeah. Luckily, nobody was reading how he termed what he was doing.

Yup. Real lucky.

Nix took the hit without much of an attempt to get away, partly because he hadn't expected it either, and partly because he simply rolled with it and spun himself to go with the punch. "Hah! Getting the idea, now!" he called out happily.

"Always watch, and be ready to move! And don't be afraid to take a hit now and then, or to run away if you need too." He nodded at his own advice.

Nix, of course, was a bit winded as things wound down, but he'd been doing this sort of thing a lot, so he was in a bit better shape. Still, he grinned at her and nodded. "Of course! Lotta good progress! No reason to completely collapse over it all."

He sat down next to her, letting his legs dangle over the edge and kicked gently in the air. "I'm always happy to help," he says with a grin. "Though I can't say no to cookies..." He giggled before going on. "I've been trying to think of a good way to get a bunch of senshis together in a sort of...training camp. I'll bet that'd be real helpful, but," he paused, and shrugged.

"I've got no idea where to do something like that. Can't just take a field for a night, because somebody's bound to see that, and ideally we should be able to experiment with superpowers, so stuff's bound to get smashed." He tapped his chin, thinking about the various possibilities he'd considered in the past. "Going to somebody's planet's hard, since only a few can go...and the moon...I'd be afraid of smashing artifacts or something."

He nodded. "Of course~"

A mention of warehouses had him nodding thoughtfully. "Could work...I think some have money, but I dunno if anybody's, you know, the ones in control of it all." He shrugged.

"Anyway. Senshis talk to each other with these," he says, and pulls out of nowhere a frog green smartphone of sorts. "We've all got one, with little apps and communication things and stuff. Knights, uh...I think you guys get some sort of ring thing? You'll need to ask somebody else about how those work. But I think there's a way to talk between the rings and the phones."

Nix nodded and laughed lightly. "Yeah, doesn't really seem fair, does it? I dunno why we get these and you get, uh, jewelry." He shrugged. "Some kind of style thing, I guess? This is all powered by some kind of super old magic thing, and I feel like all the choices didn’t, you know, try too hard to make sense…”

“I think I will make another public message to the senshi phones, once I sort out some stuff.” He nodded definitively. A plan. Sort of.

Nod nodded and grinned. ‘Yeah, definitely! I can’t say no to cookies, you know!”


He stood up as well and said, “yeah, I understand...can be kinda tricky sometimes, but my parents really trust me, so they don’t really check on me too carefully....still. I think they might worry I ignore them sometimes with how often I sneak out to be,” he paused to strike a overly dramatic heroic pose, hands on hips and all, “a froggy superhero,’ he relaxed the pose then. “But that’s life, right?”

He shrugged. “Anyway, good night! Let’s do this again soon! Maybe after you find a ring!”
