Judeau watched his not sister curiously. Tag? Had he played that before? Hmmm, he was sure he had played such games with Van when they were cubs. Even if said games sometimes ended with him and/or Van getting lost, he remembered those times fondly, the faintest hint of a smile tugging at his maw. “Is that some sort of butt waggling game?” Well, she was doing quite a lot of butt wagging, how was he to know that was not how the game was played? His own tail flicked, his rump moving in what was not quite a wag. See, he could do that too, sort of. One might think he was messing with her, maybe he was. See, Judeau wasn’t always grumpy.

Was that some sort of...? What?! “NO!” Nara all but shouted, her skin flushing pink under her pale fur. “Don’t you know how to play tag?” She watched as Judeau seemed to ‘try’ and do a butt wiggle. She shook her head with a heavy sigh. “Come on. You’re an adult! You’re suppose to know how to play these things. Here. I’ll show you...” the cub stalked over to him, outstretched a paw. “You’re it!” She grinned, racing off. “Now... Now you have to try and catch me! But no wings. I can’t fly so that wouldn’t be fair!” She shouted, running off in the direction she had original come, hoping Judeau would play with her. He seemed so grumpy, perhaps this would be helpful for him! If it made his attitude better, she’d have to try the tactic on grumpy old Feathers or Warriors!

Oh, was that a smirk on his maw, a little glitter of laughter in his eyes? Oh yes, he was most definitely messing with her. Of course he knew what tag was, how could anyone who was ever once a cub not know, especially one who had a brother like Van. He simply had not been able to resist a bit of teasing, perhaps he was not so grumpy after all. "Well that does not seem very fairy, how do I know you're not pretending you can't fly?" He had walked after her, his pace then quickened to a trot. Judeau was not so certain this was a good idea. She was a cub, he was not, he was not very good at games. He had almost decided to fly away, but something about her energy was infectious, maybe he just didn't want to disappoint her. "What happens if I catch you?"

"I don't have wings. I can't fly?" She argued. "See! No wings," to emphasize her point, she spun around to show the male that she was in fact, wingless. "Besides, when Feathers left me in the tree, I will never go up in the air again!" She quickly moved forward, noticing he was starting to trot to catch up. Uh oh. Bigger paws meant shorter steps! Nara found herself hoping a bit to try and stay ahead. "I DON'T KNOW!" She shouted back to him. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Oh hey a rock, don't trip over that! She jumped over the small stone, dark eyes peering back at the male. And he was gaining on her. This was hardly fair! Van at least morphed to a small cub to play.

Judeau stopped, giving his not sister a completely dumbfounded look. "You are a goddess, you do not need wings to fly." Huff, had she not seen how tattered his own wings were? If he were forced to rely on his wings for flight, the scruffy god of penance would have been grounded for sure. A quizzical brow raised, she did not wish to fly so she turned into a bird...what a strange creature his (not) sister had become. Was she always so odd? "How should I know, this is your game." He followed after here again, slower this time. He was starting to wonder if this had been such a good idea.

Nara thought for a moment. She stopped, forgetting they were playing for a moment. "Did you want something if you caught me?" Her head tilted in curiosity . "I just play for fun. Buuuut. I think we could work out some kind of prize or something?" She thought, tapping her paw to her head to think. "Hmm...If you catch me...I can tell you about where I came from? But if you can't catch me... Umm" she looked around, finally her dark eyes settling on his horn. "You can tell me about that?" she pointed to the broken horn on top of the male's head. "How'd it break I mean, or was it always like that?" Van'kal had a horn, but it wasn't broken. Ngaule had antlers... but Judeau's horn was cracked and almost crumbling looking. Was there a story behind it?

"That's not what I meant." Judeau rolled his eyes, taking a deep breath. He had known this wasn't a good idea, he wasn't very good at playing. Why did he need to win for her to tell him that? How did one win this game anyways, he had always thought it just continued on until the players were bored with it. Wait, what--oh.. Paws stopped in their tracks, one forepaw immediately going to his forehead, as if to cover his broken horn. His expression grew dark, maye he had forgotten for a moment, only to be reminded by the innocence of a child. A moment later, he had transformed, returning to his raven form and flying into a nearby tree branch. "I don't want to play this game."

When Judeau suddenly stopped and transformed. Nara froze, watching the raven fly to a nearby branch, stating he didn't want to play anymore. "Hey wait!" Nara frowned, racing back after him, hopping over the rock she had done previously. She sat at the base of the tree, glancing up to the bird. "Umm. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset youuu. Please come down. We...we don't have to play that game anymore or talk about the past or...I don't even know what caused you to fly off. Please come down? We can just um...go on a walk or something?" Nara pleaded, watching the raven with big watery eyes. "Please come down?"

Judeau shook his head, turning around his branch until his back was to Nara. Was she a cub or a bird now? He didn't know, he didn't want to look up to find out. No, nope, nu-uh, he wasn't coming back down, and nothing she could do or say was going to make him change his mind. Hmph, she wanted to talk so much, she could just fly up here herself! So there. "No." He was doing his best to ignore her, his head lowered, turning his back to her anytime she moved. He didn't want to play, why couldn't she leave him alone? Damn she was persistent...and noisy. Oh no, do not use that tone, you are not going to guilt me! A sigh, at last the raven turned his head to look at her. Why was she giving him that look? "Why should I come down there? Maybe you should come up here."

She was still in her cub form. She didn't want to re-materialize into her avian form just to go back and forth between the two. "Come onnnnn." She said in a plead, giving him the puppy dog look. "I told you. I can't get up there!" Even if she could, she wasn't going to. That was high! She was going to stay firmly on the ground! Nara sighed, shaking her head. "Fine. Don't come down. I'll leave you up in that tree and you can be all grumpy and moody like all the other dumb boys with wings. SEE IF I CARE!" She shouted to the male, running back off towards the safe haven of the lands.

"You can fly as well as I can.." Judeau muttered, rolling his eyes at the cub. He huffed, fine, he would stay up in the tree, in fact maybe he'd fly higher! SO THERE! He might have even stuck his tongue out at her, if a raven could do that. Silly little cub, now he could be alone in peace again. But maybe he did feel a bit bad for being so grumpy and making her run away...she hadn't been so bad.
