"We can't hide from everything. There's too much in the world that we'd miss if we did." He nodded, giving Hart's hand a gentle squeeze while flashing him a smile. It was easy to make sure that they didn't get jostled apart by others moving in the line by holding on to Hart's hand and as long as his friend didn't seem to mind it he wasn't going to say anything himself.

He pointed towards the ferriswheel at Hartley's next question. "It looks like they're stopping it at the time for a bit as they rotate riders on and off-- One or two turns around for everyone before a pause as they bring you back down, yeah? We should have a good view of everything. You've still got your phone on you, right?"

A number of photos were taken as they rounded the ferriswheel-- some shots from above as they paused at the top along with a selfie or two of them on their way slowly back down around. They purchased another lemonade to split after the ride, as they'd discussed, playing a few of the carnival games before finding a place to watch the fireworks after the sun went down.

The sound and sights were incredible, if not a bit loud, and he couldn't help but smile as Hartley shifted closer to him close to the end of the show. He shifted up off of the hand that he'd been leaning on so that he could loosely drape an arm around the other's shoulder. It had been a good day.... And this was a great way to end it.
